 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) THE PLANS ARE REQUIRED TO BE PREPARED, SIGNED,
 SEALED AND DATED BY A FLORIDA LICENSED ARCHITECT OR
 ENGINEER. FS 481.229 AND FS 471.003
  
 2) PER 405.1, THE WORK AREA EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE
 AGGREGATE AREA OF THE BUILDING, WHICH MAKES THIS A
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 3) IF THIS IS A 3-UNIT APARTMENT BUILDING, THE
 OCCUPANCY TYPE IS R-2. PLEASE CORRECT. SEE FBC 310.1
  
 4) THE ENERGY CALCULATION FORM NEEDS TO BE SIGNED BY
 THE OWNER AS WELL AS THE PREPARER. FBC 13-103.1.1.2.2
 REQUIRES THE FORM PREPARATION FOR MULTI-FAMILY
 DWELLINGS TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY AN ARCHITECT OR
 ENGINEER REGISTERED IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
  
 5) PLEASE NOTE ON THE PLANS THAT THE EXISTING TENANT
 SEPARATION WALLS, AS WELL AS, THE FLOOR/CEILING
 SEPARATING TENANT SPACES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A ONE
 HOUR FIRE RATING PER FBC 708.1 AND FBC 711.3. THE
 BATHROOM LOCATED UNDER THE STAIRS IS REQUIRED TO HAVE
 ONE HOUR FIRE SEPARATION FROM THE STAIRS LEADING TO THE
 UNIT ABOVE.
  
 6) SPECIFY THE WIND DESIGN INFORMATION INCLUDING WIND
 SPEED, EXPOSURE CATEGORY, ETC. ON THE PLANS. SEE FBC
 1603.1.4.
  
 7) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED COMPONENT AND CLADDING
 PRESSURES FOR THE WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS ON THE
 PLANS. SEE FBC 1604.9. THE ONES SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS
 ARE NOT CORRECT.
  
 8) PROVIDE THE UL LISTING OR FILE NUMBER FROM AN
 APPROVED TESTING AGENCY FOR THE 1 HOUR FIRE RATED WALL
 SYSTEM THAT WILL BE INSTALLED. SEE FBC 703.
  
 9) PLEASE CLARIFY WHICH WINDOWS ARE TO BE REPLACED AND
 WHICH OF THE EXISTING ONES WILL REMAIN. PLEASE NOTE
 THAT A 37 X 50 WINDOW DOES NOT MEET EGRESS SIZE
 REQUIREMENTS. SEE FBC 1026.
  
 10) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE HORIZONTAL SLIDING
 WINDOWS PER FAC RULE 9B-72, IF THEY ARE TO BE REPLACED.
  
 11) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR
 THE PROJECT. FBC 106.3.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 12) THE ROOM HOUSING THE DRYER FOR UNIT # 2 THAT
 LOCATED UNDER THE EGRESS STAIRS FOR UNIT #3 IS REQUIRED
 TO HAVE 1 ONE FIRE RATED WALLS AND CEILING THAT
 SEPARATE IT FROM THE STAIRS AND LANDING OF THE ADJACENT
 TENANT SPACE. FBC 708 AND 711.
  
 13) SPECIFY DRAFTSTOPPING IN THE COMBUSTIBLE FLOOR
 CONSTRUCTION ABOVE AND IN LINE WITH THE DWELLING UNIT
 SEPARATIONS ON THE PLANS. SEE FBC 717.3.
