 ADD 2ND FLOOR LOFT
  
 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) THE ENGINEER LISTED IN THE TITLE BLOCK OF THE PLANS
 IS REQUIRED TO SIGN AND SEAL THE DRAWINGS. FS 471
  
 2) PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE GUARDS THAT ARE REQUIRED AT
 THE OPENING FROM THE LOFT TO THE LIVING ROOM BELOW.
 SHOW THAT IT COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FBC
 R312.
  
 3) THE ENERGY CALCULATION FORM IS NOT REQUIRED BECAUSE
 RENOVATION IS LESS THAN 30 % OF ASSESSED VALUE OF THE
 STRUCTURE. NOTE: THE 2007 ENERGY GLITCH AMENDMENTS NO
 LONGER ALLOW METHOD C. THEREFORE, FORM 1100C-07 IS NO
 LONGER ACCEPTABLE. 13-101.2
  
 4) THE FLOOR PLAN ON SHEET 1 OF THE DRAWINGS SHOWS THE
 LOFT IN RELATION TO THE EXISTING FIRST FLOOR BELOW.
 SUBMIT TWO DRAWINGS OF THE LOFT FLOOR PLAN WITH THE
 SECOND FLOOR ROOMS AND WALLS FOR CLARITY.
  
 5) UPDATE THE ELECTRIC CODE EDITION TO REFERENCE THE
 2008 NEC.
  
 6) SMOKE ALARMS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE 2007
 FBC R313.2.1.
  
 7) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
