 PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN
 FORMAT.
  
 1. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(3)(A&B)), TERMINAL
 AND INTERIOR LANDSCAPE ISLANDS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN
 FIVE (5) FEET IN WIDTH, EXCLUDING THE REQUIRED CURBING.
 THOUGH THE ISLANDS APPEAR TO SCALE AT SIX (6) FEET
 (OUTSIDE WIDTH WITH FIVE (5) FOOT INSIDE DIMENSION),
 THE DETAIL PROVIDED AND THE DESCRIPTION IS INCORRECT.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT
 INCLUDES THE TOTAL COST OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND
 LABOR, BROKEN DOWN INTO UNIT COST. THE COST ESTIMATE
 SUBMITTED IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 3. THE PROPOSED HEDGE IN THE PALM BEACH LAKES BOULEVARD
 RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL EXTEND UP TO THE DRIVEWAY.
  
 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(2), SHADE TREES SHALL
 BE PLANTED AT 30-FOOT INTERVALS ALONG THE LANDSCAPE
 STRIP THAT SEPARATES THE VEHICULAR USE AREA FROM THE
 ADJACENT RIGHT-OF-WAY (PALM BEACH LAKES BOULEVARD).
 TREES ARE REQUIRED TO BE PLANTED ALONG THE HEDGEROW ON
 THE EAST SIDE OF THE SITE.
  
 5. SUBMIT A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE
 TREES THAT ARE SCHEDULED TO BE REMOVED. THE EXISTING
 FISHTAIL AND LADY PALMS IN THE COURTYARD ARE TOO
 VALUABLE TO BE DESTROYED. PERHAPS THEY CAN BE RELOCATED
 TO THE PROPOSED LOCATIONS OF THE FOXTAIL PALMS.
 OTHERWISE, THEY WILL NEED TO FIND A NEW HOME SOMEWHERE
 ON SITE.
  
 6. THE PROPOSED LAUREL OAKS DO NOT HAVE A HIGH SUCCESS
 RATE IN PAVED PARKING LOTS. THEY LIKE A GREAT DEAL OF
 WATER AND ARE FOUND NATURALLY IN LOWLYING AREAS.. IN
 ADDITION, THEY ARE SHORT-LIVED AS COMPARED TO OTHER
 SHADE TREES. LIVE OAKS WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER CHOICE
 FOR THE INTENDED LOCATIONS AND WILL BE CONSISTENT WITH
 WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PLANTED ELSEWHERE ON SITE.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-444 (B), THE DUMPSTER
 ENCLOSURE SHALL HAVE VISION OBSCURING GATES. IF A
 GENERATOR IS PROPOSED, IT SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
 THE GAS EQUIPMENT AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE
 BUILDING IS IN A DANGEROUS LOCATION. THAT SHALL BE
 PROTECTED AND ALL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE SCREENED. STAFF
 SUGGESTS THAT THE CURBED LANDSCAPE ISLAND NORTH OF THE
 GAS EQUIPMENT BE EXPANDED TO ENCOMPASS THE EQUIPMENT
 AND EXTEND UP TO THE 24 FOOT TRAVEL AISLE. ADDITIONAL
 PLANTING SHALL BE ADDED WITHIN THE ISLAND THAT WILL
 PROVIDE SCREENING AND OFFER SOME PROTECTION.
  
 8. NO TREES OR SHRUBS SHALL BE PLANTED WITHIN THE
 TWO-FOOT VEHICULAR OVERHANG AREA ADJACENT TO ROBINS
 DRIVE.
