| PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN |

| 1. PROVIDE A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THANT INCLUDES THE |
| TOTAL COST OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND LABOR. IT |
| SHALL BE BROKEN DOWN INTO UNIT COST. |
| |
| 2, PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (A)(2)(B), ALL PORTIONS |
| OF THE LANDSCAPE STRIP THAT BUFFERS THE NONRESIDENTIAL |
| USE ADJACENT TO RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY SHALL BE |
| LANDSCAPED. MULCH, WITHOUT PLANT MATERIAL, IS NOT |
| CONSIDERED LANDSCAPING. THE BUFFER IS REQUIRED TO BE A |
| MINIIMUM OF FIVE FEET IN WIDTH.THIS APPLIES TO THE |
| SOUTH SIDE OF THE SITE. A HEDGE OR OTHER PLANTING AND |
| SOD OR GROUND COVER IS RECOMMENDED FOR THE AREA.THE |
| FENCE SHOULD BE MOVED TO THE PROPERTY LINE. AN EASEMENT |
| AGREEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO INSTALL THE FENCE AND |
| LANDSCAPING WITHIN THE UTILITIY EASEMENT. IF THE FENCE |
| REMAINS IN THE CURRENT LOCATION, A GATE WILL NEED BE |
| ADDED FOR ACCESS TO MAINTAIN THE AREA BETWEEN THE FENCE |
| AND PROPERTY LINE. |

| 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B)(3), TREES, GHRUBS, |
| GRASS, GROUND COVER, OR OTHER SUITABLE LIVE PLANT |
| MATERIAL SHALL BE PLANTED OVER THE ENTIRE LANDSCAPE |
| STRIP, REQUIRED TO BUFFER NONRESIDENTIAL USES ADJACENT |
| TO A PUBLIC THROROUGHFARE AND NONRESIDENTIAL ZONING |
| DISTRICT. MULCH, ALONE, IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. A HEDGE AND |
| GROUND COVER OR SOD AND AT LEASE ONE SHADE TREE FOR |
| EACH 30 LINEAR FEET IS REQUIRED ALONG THE EAST, NORTH |
| AND WEST SIDES OF THE SITE. |

| 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (C), PALM TREES MAY BE |
| SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT MORE THAN 35 PERCENT OF THE SHADE |
| OR FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED BY THIS ARTICLE. THE |
| LANDSCAPE CALCULATIONS ARE INCORRECT AND THE PALM |
| SUBSTITUTION WAS NOT CALCULATED. |

| 5. PROVIDE IRRIGATION IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. |
| |
| 6. PROVIDE CITY APPROVED STRIPING DETAIL ON SITE PLAN. |
| |
| 7. CURBING CAN BE USED INSTEAD OF CAR STOPS FOR THE TWO |
| ON-SITE PARKING STALLS. THE CURBING CAN REPLACE THE CAR |
| STOPS WITH THE CAR OVERHANG AREA BEING CONVERTED INTO |
| GREEN SPACE. NO PLANT OR TREE CAN BE PLANTED WITHIN THE |
| OVERHANG AREA BUT THE THREE FOOT GREEN SPACE WOULD BE |
| EXPANDED TO FIVE FEET TO ALLOW FOR THE ROOTS OF THE |
| TREES TO HAVE ROOM TO GROW. |

| 8. PURSUANT TO 94-443 (C)(5)(A), LANDSCAPE AREAS SHALL |
| BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY NONMOUNTABLE, |
| CONCRETE CURBING OF THE TYPE CHARACTERIZED AS "TYPE D". |

| 9. ALL OVERHEAD LINES, UTILITIES, STREET LIGHTS AND |
| ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH THE PROPOSED |
| LANDSCAPING SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO |
| AVOID CONFLICTS. |
