 PROVIDE RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 1) THE CLASS B SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE
 EXPANSION OF THE GROCERY STORE TO GREATER THAN 10,000
 SQUARE FEET EXPIRED ON JANUARY 4, 2010. CONTACT THE
 ZONING DIVISION FOR THE PROCEDURE TO EXTEND THE
 DEVELOPMENT ORDER.
  
 2) REPEAT COMMENT: THE LANDSCAPE PLANS DO NOT SHOW THE
 SAME CONDITIONS AS THE SITE PLAN, SPECIFICALLY, THE
 DIMENSIONS OF THE LANDSCAPE AREA AND CURB LOCATIONS ON
 THE NORTH SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
  
 3) REPEAT COMMENT: THE PHOTOMETRIC PLAN SHALL SHOW THE
 FOOT CANDLE LEVELS AT THE WEST PROPERTY LINE - THIS
 SHALL NOT EXCEED 0.5 FOOT CANDLES.
  
 4) NEW COMMENT: THE PHOTOMETRIC PLAN(SHEET E-7) AND
 SHEET E-6 WERE NOT UPDATED TO SHOW THE LIGHT POST
 LOCATIONS AS SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN. THE NEW LIGHT
 POST LOCATIONS AVOID TREE CONFLICTS.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT: THE BMUD TYPE II REGULATIONS REQUIRE
 THAT THE FINISHED FLOOR TO FINISHED CEILING OF THE
 GROUND FLOOR BE AT LEAST 12 FEET - SHEET A-7 SHOWS THE
 CEILING HEIGHT OF 11 FEET 2 INCHES. RESPONSE STATES
 THERE ARE EXISTING STRUCTURAL CONDITIONS WHICH DO NOT
 ALLOW HIGHER CEILING. THIS NEEDS TO BE DEMONSTRATED ON
 THE PLANS. IT IS STAFF'S UNDERSTANDING THAT THE
 EXISTING CEILING HEIGHTIS HIGHER THAN 11 FEET 2 INCHES.
  
 6) NEW COMMENT: SHEET A-3 SHOWS NEW EQUIPMENT BEING
 INSTALLED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE WESTERN BUILDING WALL.
 WHAT IS THIS? IT IS NOT SHOWN ON THE SITE OR LANDSCAPE
 PLANS. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE SCREENED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE BMUD REGULATIONS AND MEET ALL SET
 BACK REQUIREMENTS.
  
 7) NEW COMMENT: SHEET A-4 SHOWS NEW EQUIPMENT ON THE
 ROOF (RT-1, RT-2 AND RT-3) AND SHEET E-3 REFERENCES
 CU-1 ABOVE ROOF. PROVIDE FULL HEIGHT OF THIS EQUIPMENT
 FROM THE ROOF TOP (INC. STANDS). MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
 SHALL BE SCREENED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BMUD
 REGULATIONS. THE NEW EQUIPMENT AND ANY NEW SCREENING
 SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE ELEVATIONS.
  
 8) NOTE: ANY NEW FENCES OR WALLS, EXCLUDING THE CART
 RETURN SCREEN, THE SIGNAGE, THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND
 THE BENCHES REQUIRE SEPARATE PERMITS.
