 ROUTE, THE ALTERED ELEMENT, SPACE, OR COMMON AREA IS
 NOT REQUIRED TO BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE EXCEPT AS
 PROVIDED IN SECTION 11-4.1.6(2), ALTERATIONS TO AN AREA
 CONTAINING A PRIMARY FUNCTION.
  
 (C) IF ALTERATIONS OF SINGLE ELEMENTS, WHEN CONSIDERED

 ACCESSIBLE AND SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 11-4.32 AS
 REQUIRED IN SECTION 11-4.1.3(18). ETWEEN THE SMOKING
 AND NONSMOKING AREAS. IN NEW CONSTRUCTION, AND WHERE
 PRACTICABLE IN ALTERATIONS, ACCESSIBLE FIXED TABLES (OR
 COUNTERS) SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR
