 1. LIVE OAK TREES CANNOT BE PLANTED WITHIN 30 FEET OF
 ANY OVERHEAD POWER LINES. PLEASE REFER TO THE FPL
 WEBSITE AND CLICK ONTO "PLANT THE RIGHT TREE IN THE
 RIGHT PLACE" WHICH REGULATES WHICH TREE SPECIES CAN BE
 PLANTED UNDER OR IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OVERHEAD LINES.
  
 2. PURSUSNT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(3)(B), ONE INTERIOR
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EVERY TEN
 PARKING SPACES OR FRACTION THEREOF. INTERIOR LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS SHALL BE AT LEAST FIVE FEET WIDE, EXCLUDING THE
 REQUIRED CURB, AND SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR
 FLOWERING TREE. NO INTERIOR LANDSCAPE ISLANDS HAVE BEEN
 PROPOSED.
  
 3. PROPOSED LANDSCAPING IS SHOWN WITHIN A RETENTION
 SWALE. LIVE OAK TREES CANNOT SURVIVE IN AREAS THAT
 FLOOD.
  
 4. THERE ARE EXISTING SABAL PALMS THROUGHOUT THE SITE.
 IF THEY ARE IN GOOD CONDITION, THEY SHALL BE SAVED AND
 RELOCATED TO ANOTHER LOCATION. A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT
 IS REQUIRED.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(3)(A), EACH ROW OF
 PARKING SPACES SHALL BE TERMINATED BY LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS. ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE IS REQUIRED TO BE
 PLANTED IN EVERY TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLAND. TREES ARE
 MISSING IN MOST OF THE TERMINAL ISLANDS.
  
 6. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4)(G)(3), AUTOMATIC
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE USED FOR THE CULTIVATED
 LANDSCAPE AREAS FOR ALL PROPERTIES. THIS INCLUDES THE
 ADJACENT RIGHTS-OF-WAY PLANTINGS.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(2), TABLE XIV-1,
 TREES SHALL BE PLANTED AT 30-FOOT INTERVALS AND HEDGES
 SHALL BE PLANTED AT TWO-FOOT INTEVALS FOR EACH REQUIRED
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER. THE REQUIRED HEDGE AND TREES ARE
 MISSING ALONG BOTH SIDES OF THE ALLEY. IN ADDITION, THE
 BUFFER SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN FIVE FEET IN WIDTH.
  
 8. THERE IS A CONFLICT BETWEEN A PROPOSED STREET LIGHT
 AND A TREE ALONG THE NORTH PERIMETER OF THE NORTH
 PARKING LOT. STREET LIGHTS SHALL BE CENTERED BETWEEN
 THE TREES AND NO CLOSER THAN 15 FEET FROM THE TRUNK.
  
 9. THE HEDGE ALONG THE EAST PERIMETER OF THE NORTH
 PARKING LOT SHALL BE PLANTED ALONG THE PROPERTY LINE
 FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTENANCE.
  
 10. IN KEEPING WITH XERISCAPE GUIDELINES, GROUND COVER
 SHOULD BE PLANTED INSTEAD OF SOD IN THE SMALLER AREAS
 AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE SITE. A TIERING OF THE
 PLANT MATERIAL ADJACENT TO THE RIGHTS-OF-WAYS IS
 RECOMMENDED.
 WHEN THE HEDGE IS PLANTED ALONG THE INTERIOR PERIMETER
 OF THE SITE, GROUND COVER SHOULD BE PLANTED BETWEEN THE
 HEDGE AND THE CITY SIDEWALK. FOR THE SIDES OF THE
 PARKING LOT THAT ARE ADJACENT TO OTHER PROPERTIES,
 GROUND COVER CAN BE PLANTED BETWEEN THE HEDGE AND THE
 PARKING LOT.
  
 11. PLEASE SUBMIT A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT
 INCLUDES THE TOTAL COST OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIRALS AND
 LABOR, BROKEN DOWN INTO UNIT COST.
  
 12. THE NORTH ARROW IS FACING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
