 REVIEW CHECKLIST.
 2007 FL. RESIDENTIAL CODE WITH 2009 REVISIONS.
  
 1- CONVERSION OF ENCLOSED PORCH TO LIVING SPACE
 REQUIRES IMPACT FEES REVIEW. BRING PLANS TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD. (561)233-5120) TO VERIFY IF
 IMPACT FEES ARE DUE. BRING BACK STAMPED PLANS AND COPY
 OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
  
 2- NEED RECORDED NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT. SEC. 713.13
 FLORIDA STATUTE.
 NOTE: THIS MAY BE RECORDED A TIME OF PERMIT PICK UP.
  
 3- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 N1100.0.3 OF CHAPTER 11 OF 2007 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL
 CODE. PLEASE MAKE SURE CORRECT FORM IS PROVIDED AND ALL
 THE INFORMATION AND SIGNATURES ARE PROVIDED ON THE
 FORM.
  
 4- VALUE DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO LOW.
 UPDATE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK TO BE
 DONE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 108.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 5- DRAWINGS SUBMITTED ARE MISSING THE FOLLOWING:
 A) SPECIFY TYPE OF ALTERATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 401.4
 OF 2007 FLORIDA EXISTING CODE-EXISTING.
  
 B) CODE INFORMATION: SPECIFY BUILDING CODE, WIND LOAD,
 BUILDING EXPOSURE AND EXTERIOR DOORS AND WINDOWS DESIGN
 PRESSURES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R301 OF 2007 FLORIDA
 RESIDENTIAL CODE.
 ***NOTE: ACCORDING TO 2009 REVISIONS TO THE 2007 FBC
 THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED ON EXPOSURE "C". TAKE THIS
 INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN CALCULATING THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES.
  
 C) COMPLETE WALL SECTION FOR EXTERIOR WALLS TO BE
 ENCLOSED AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.3.5.4(6) OF CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC. NEED TO SPECIFY. STUDS FASTENING
 (TOP AND BOTTOM), PLYWOOD THICKNESS AND FASTENING,
 STUCCO THICKNESS AND 2 LAYERS OF WATER VAPOR BARRIER,
 INSULATION ETC.
  
 D) SPECIFY INSULATION ON CEILING AND EXTERIOR WALLS.
 COORDINATE WITH THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS PROVIDED.
  
 E) PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND FASTENING FOR
 NEW CEILING RAFTERS ON MASTER BEDROOM AREA. ALSO,
 CLARIFY IF EXISTING MASTER BEDROOM IS GOING TO BE
 EXPANDED INTO THE GARAGE AREA. PROVIDE WALL
 SECTION/DETAIL AND SPECIFICATIONS.
  
 F) PLANS NEED TO BE DRAWN TO SCALE AND PROVIDE
 DIMENSIONS.
  
 G) SPECIFY SAFETY GLASS FOR WINDOW REPLACEMENT ON
 MASTER BATHROOM AND FOR WINDOWS ADJACENT TO EXTERIOR
 WALL ON PORCH WALL TO BE ENCLOSED. SEC. R308.4 OF 2007
 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 H) COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW
 WINDOWS AND DOORS OPENINGS. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS
 AND FASTENING.
  
 6- PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9B-72 FOR:
 A) SHUTTERS FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS THAT HAVE NOT IMPACT
 GLASS.
 ALSO, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE (SEE
 ATTACHED SAMPLE). AND, CLEARLY MARK ON SHUTTERS
 DRAWINGS SPECIFIC MOUNTING CONDITIONS (EX: WALL
 MOUNTED, BUILT OUT, ETC) AND SPECIFIC ANCHOR TYPE AND
 SPACING TO BE USED.
  
 B) WINDOW MULLIONS. AND, CLEARLY MARK SPECIFIC MULLION
 SIZE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE CALCULATED DESIGN
 PRESSURES.
  
 C) EXTERIOR SWING DOOR NOA 08-0516.07 SUBMITTED EXPIRED
 ON JULY 12, 2009. NEED TO PROVIDE CURRENT PRODUCT
 APPROVAL.
  
 7- NEED TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY EGRESS FROM MASTER BEDROOM
 THAT COMPLIES WITH SEC. 310 OF 2007 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL
 CODE. 39"X37" SINGLE HUNG WINDOW DOESN'T COMPLY WITH
 THIS SECTION. EGRESS WAS CHANGED WHEN ENCLOSING PORCH
 TO CREATE NEW LIVING AREA.
  
 8- DESIGNER RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DRAWINGS TO REVIEW AND
 APPROVE IN WRITING ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 106.3.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 9- ANY ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING OR MECHANICAL WORK REQUIRES
 SEPARATE PERMIT. PLANS NO SUBMITTED AT THIS TIME.
