 1) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW) AFTER
 MARCH 1ST, 2009 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2007 FBC
 BUILDING WITH 2009 SUPPLEMENTS. PLEASE UPDATE PLANS TO
 ALSO INCLUDE THE 2007 EXISTING BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER
 10 ADDITIONS (MEZZANINE ADDING FUEL LOADS) .
  
 2) 110.2* W. P. B. ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, INFORMATION
 THAT IS REQUIRED FOR RECORD KEEPING & FOR CERTIFICATE
 OF OCCUPANCY:
 A) THE EDITION OFTHE CODE UNDER WHICH THE PROJECT IS
 DESIGNED.
 2007 FL BUILDING CODE, EXISTING BUILDING, ADDING A
 MEZANINE CONSTITUTES AN ADDITION SEE ASSOCIATED
 CHAPTERFOR ADDITIONS.
 B) THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION (FOR THE EXISTING BUILDING)
 AS DEFINED IN CHAPTER 5, TABLE 503, CHAPTER 6, TABLE
 601.
 C) PLANS INDICATE THERE IS A FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM, IS
 IT A REQUIRED SYSTEM FOR AREA INCREASES IN THE
 BUILDING?
 D) PLANS INDICATE THE OCCUPANCY TYPE TO BE A STORAGE
 OCCUPANCY, S1 OR S2?
  
 3) THE PLAN INDICATES THE MEZZANINE LEVEL OCCUPANCY
 SHALL BE USED FOR STORAGE.
  
 3A) 110.4.2 STORAGE & FACTORY- INDUSTRIAL OCCUPANCIES.
 IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER, AGENT,
 PROPIETOR OR OCCUPANT OF GROUP S AND GROUP F
 OCCUPANCIES, OR ANY OCCUPANCY WHERE EXCESSIVE FLOOR
 LOADING IS LIKELY TO OCCUR, TO EMPLOY A COMPETENT
 ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER IN COMPUTING THE SAFE FLOOR LOAD
 CAPACITY. ALL SUCH COMPUTATIONS SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY
 AN AFFADAVIT FROM THE ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER STATING THE
 SAFE ALLOWABLE FLOOR LOADS ON EACH FLOOR IN POUNDS PER
 SQ FT.THE
 COMPUTATIONS & AFFADAVIT SHALL BE FILED AS A PERMANENT
 RECORD OF THE BLDG DEPT.
  
 3B) 110.4.3.SIGNS REQUIRED. IN EVERY BUILDING OR PART
 OF A BUILDING USED FOR STORAGE, INDUSTRIAL OR HAZARDOUS
 PURPOSES, THE SAFE FLOOR LOADS, AS REVIEWED BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL ON THE PLAN, SHALL BE MARKED ON
 PLATES OF APPROVED DE SIGN WHICH SHALL BE SUPPLIED &
 SECURELY AFFIXED BY THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING IN A
 CONSPICUOUS PLACE IN EACH STORY TO WHICH THEY RELATE.
 SUCH PLATES SHALL NOT BE REMOVED OR DEFACED, & IF LOST,
 REMOVED THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING SHALL REPLACE THEM.
  
 4) NO PLANS WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE STRUCTURAL FRAMING
 OF THE MEZANINE NOR STAIRWAY OR FOR LOADING OF THE
 MEZZANINE LEVEL.
 106.3.5 MINIUMUM PLAN CRITERIA FOR COMMERCIAL
 BUILDINGS.
 NOT HAVING BUILDING INFORMATION TYPE , FIRE RETARDANT
 CONSTRUCTION MAY ALSO BE A FACTOR WITH A PLYWOOD FLOOR.
  
 5) PLANS INDICATE THE BUILDING HAS FIRE SPRINKLER
 SYSTEM ALREADY BUT NO PLANS WERE SUBMITTED FOR FIRE
 SPRINKLERS BENEATH THE MEZZANINE LEVEL.
  
 6) GUARD RAILS, PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH:
 618.4.6.1 RAILINGS, STAIR-RAILINGS AND OTHER SIMILAR
 SAFEGUARDS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST A LOAD OF 50
 POUNDS PER LINEAL FOOT (74 KG/M) OR A CONCENTRATED LOAD
 OF 200 POUNDS (690 N) APPLIED IN ANY DIRECTION AT THE
 TOP OF SUCH BARRIERS AT ANY LOCATION ON THE SAFEGUARD,
 WHICHEVER CONDITION PRODUCES THE MAXIMUM STRESSES. THE
 REACTIONS AND STRESSES CAUSED BY THE ABOVE REFERENCED
 UNIFORM AND CONCENTRATED LOADS SHALL BE CONSIDERED NOT
 BE ACTING SIMULTANEOUSLY.
  
 7) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION. PLEASE CALL (561)233-5025 FOR MORE
 INFORMATION.

 AS A RESULT OF THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED
