 1) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW) AFTER
 JULY 1ST, 2007 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2004 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2007 SUPPLEMENTS, AND THE 2007
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE WITH 2009 SUPPLEMENTS. PLEASE
 UPDATE PLANS AND ALSO CHOOSE LEVEL OF ALTERATION.
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 401.4 A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR
 AN OWNER MUST ELECT ONE OR A COMBINATION OF LEVELS OF
 ALTERATION PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 403, 404 AND 405 OF
 THIS CODE.
  
 2) PLANS ARE MISSING THE WIND INFORMATION: 2007
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE, 606.4 REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS
 AND DOORS. THE REPLACEMENT OF GARAGE DOORS, EXTERIOR
 DOORS, SKYLIGHTS, OPERATIVE AND INOPERATIVE WINDOWS
 SHALL BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED TO COMPLY WITH
 CHAPTER 16 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING .
  
 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA.
 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL-FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 BUILDING:
 1. BASIC WIND SPEED (3-SECOND GUST), MILES PER HOUR
 (KM/HR).
  
 2. WIND IMPORTANCE FACTOR, I W , AND BUILDING
 CLASSIFICATION FROM TABLE 1604.5 OR TABLE 6-1, ASCE 7
 AND BUILDING CLASSIFICATION IN TABLE 1-1, ASCE 7.
  
 3. WIND EXPOSURE, IF MORE THAN ONE WIND EXPOSURE IS
 UTILIZED, THE WIND EXPOSURE AND APPLICABLE WIND
 DIRECTION SHALL BE INDICATED.
  
 4. THE APPLICABLE ENCLOSURE CLASSIFICATIONS AND, IF
 DESIGNING WITH ASCE 7, INTERNAL PRESSURE COEFFICIENT.
 5. COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. THE DESIGN WIND PRESSURES
 IN TERMS OF PSF (KN/M 2 ) TO BE USED FOR THE SELECTION
 OF EXTERIOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING MATERIALS NOT
 SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED BY THE REGISTERED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL.
  
 3) THE PLAN SUBMITTED FOR WINDOW REPLACEMENT IS NOT
 DRAWN TO SCALE IT CAN NOT BE DETERMINED WHICH WINDOWS
 ARE IN THE END ZONES AND WHICH ARE LOCATED WITH-IN THE
 INTERIOR ZONES, UNABLE TO DETERMINE PRESSURES.
  
 4) THE WINDOW FLOOR PLAN ALSO IS MISSING WINDOW SIZES,
 PLEASE PROVIDE WINDOW SIZES SO WINDOW OPENINGS CAN BE
 REVIEWED FOR THE ASSOCIATED PRESSURES. NOTE: EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE DOES ALLOW FOR A 5% REDUCTION IN CLEAR
 OPENING DIMENSIONS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS SHALL
 BE ALLOWED.
  
 5) THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES A VALUE OF
 $2,300.00 DOLLARS OF VALUE FOR PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND
 REPLACEMENT OF 9 WINDOWS, WHERE AS ON THE WINDOW PLAN
 THE VALUE ALONE FOR THE WINDOWS IS INDICATED AS $365.00
 EACH FOR A TOTAL OF $3,285.99. IT APPEARS THESE TWO
 FIGURESTHE PLUMBING /ELECTRIC AND WINDOWS SHOULD BE
 ADDED TOGETHER.
  
 W P B ADMINISTRTIVE CODE 108.2 SCHEDULE OF PERMIT FEES.
 ON BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL,
 AND PLUMBING SYSTEMS OR ALTERATIONS REQUIRING A PERMIT,
 A FEE FOR EACH PERMIT SHALL BE PAID AS REQUIRED, IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED BY THE
 APPLICABLE GOVERNING AUTHORITY.
  
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFRENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
