 1B) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW)
 AFTER MARCH 1ST, 2009 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2007 FBC
 BUILDING WITH 2009. THREE UNIT STRUCTURE WILL BE
 REVIEWED UNDER THE 2007 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, 2007
 FLORIDA EXISTING BUILDING CODE W/ 2009 SUPPLEMENTS.
  
 1C) 2007 FBC 106.1.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE &
 EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED & SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT
 WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, AND RULES AND REGULATIONS AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE PLANS DO NOT
 INDICATE WHAT WALLS ARE ORIGINAL OR NEW CONSTRUCTION,
 PLEASE IDENTIFY. IN UNITS 2 & 3 THERE IS NO INFORMATION
 IF THERE IS NEW WORK, DISCUSSION WITH CORAL KEY DESIGN
 INDICATES THERE TO BE NO NEW WORK BUT THE FRONT
 ELEVATION INDICATES NEW WINDOWS IN UNIT TWO WHERE THE
 HEADERS ARE BEING REPLACED. PLEASE CORRELATE PLANS FOR
 CONSISTENCY.

 RESIDENCE AND NOT COMMERCIAL WORK. THE P.E. OF RECORD

 NAME IN THE TITLE-BLOCK.

 ON BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL,
 AND PLUMBING SYSTEMS OR ALTERATIONS REQUIRING A PERMIT,
 A FEE FOR EACH PERMIT SHALL BE PAID AS REQUIRED, IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED BY THE
 APPLICABLE GOVERNING AUTHORITY.
  
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.

 2) UNIT# 1, BEDROOM# 2 INDICATES THE WINDOW TO BE
 RELOCATED. FL EXIST. BLDG. CODE 701.2 ALTERATION LEVEL
 1 COMPLIANCE. IN ADDITION TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
 CHAPTER, ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 CHAPTER 6. 606.4 REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS AND DOORS. THE
 REPLACEMENT OF GARAGE DOORS, EXTERIOR DOORS, SKYLIGHTS,
 OPERATIVE AND INOPERATIVE WINDOWS SHALL BE DESIGNED AND
 CONSTRUCTED TO COMPLY WITH CHAPTER 16 OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING . PLEASE NOTE THE RELOCATED
 WINDOW WILL NEED DOCUMENTATION THAT IT MEETS THE
 CURRENT WIND PRESSURES. THE OTHER ISSUE IS TO IDENTIFY
 THROUGH-OUT THE BUILDING WHICH WINDOWS ARE GOING TO BE
 REPLACED.
  
 3) SHEET# 2 INDICATES PROPOSED STUCCO, OUR RECORDS
 INDICATE THIS TO BE A WOOD FRAME STRUCTURE WITH WOOD
 SIDING. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE
 APPLICATION OF STUCCO. 2510.1 GENERAL. EXTERIOR AND
 INTERIOR CEMENT PLASTER AND LATHING SHALL BE DONE WITH
 THE APPROPRIATE MATERIALS.
  
 2510.3 INSTALLATION. INSTALLATION OF THESE MATERIALS
 SHALL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASTM C 926 AND ASTM C 1063.
 1405.3 FLASHING. FLASHING SHALL BE INSTALLED IN SUCH A
 MANNER SO AS TO PREVENT MOISTURE FROM ENTERING THE WALL
 OR TO REDIRECT IT TO THE EXTERIOR. FLASHING SHALL BE
 INSTALLED AT THE PERIMETERS OF EXTERIOR DOOR AND WINDOW
 ASSEMBLIES, PENETRATIONS AND TERMINATIONS OF EXTERIOR
 WALL ASSEMBLIES
 1404.2 WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER. EXTERIOR WALLS OF FRAME
 CONSTRUCTION RECEIVING A VENEER SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH
 A WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER. THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER
 SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF ONE LAYER OF NO. 15 ASPHALT FELT,
 COMPLYING WITH ASTM D 226 FOR TYPE 1 FELT OR OTHER
 APPROVED MATERIALS, SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE SHEATHING,
 WITH FLASHING AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1405.3, IN SUCH A
 MANNER AS TO PROVIDE A CONTINUOUS WATER-RESISTIVE
 BARRIER BEHIND THE EXTERIOR WALL VENEER.
  
 1404.2.1 WHERE CEMENT PLASTER (STUCCO) IS TO BE APPLIED
 TO LATH OVER FRAME CONSTRUCTION, MEASURES SHALL BE
 TAKEN TO PREVENT BONDING BETWEEN THE CEMENT PLASTER AND
 THE WATER RESISTIVE BARRIER. A BOND BREAK SHALL BE
 PROVIDED BETWEEN THE WATER RESISTIVE BARRIER AND THE
 CEMENT PLASTER (STUCCO) CONSISTING OF ONE OF THE
 FOLLOWING:
  
 1. TWO LAYERS OF AN APPROVED WATER-RESISTANT BARRIER OR
  
 2. ONE LAYER OF AN APPROVED WATER-RESISTANT BARRIER
 OVER AN APPROVED PLASTIC HOUSE WRAP, OR
  
 3. OTHER APPROVED METHODS OR MATERIALS APPLIED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
