 WORK DESCRIBED IN THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT IS NOT
 ACTUALLY COMMENCED WITHIN 90 DAYS AFTER THE RECORDING
 THEREOF, SUCH NOTICE IS NULL & VOID. NOTE: 713.13(6)
 THE POSTING OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT AT THE
 CONSTRUCTION SITE BEFORE THE FIRST INSPECTION.
  
 1D) : PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW)
 AFTER JULY 1ST, 2007 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2004 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2007 SUPPLEMENTS.SHEET GN1 DOES
 INCLUDE THE 2004 FBC BUT NOT THE SUPPLEMENTS. THE OTHER
 ISSUE IS THE PLANS ALSO INDICATE THE 2004 FBC EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE WHICH WOULD NOT BE APPLICABLE SINCE THIS
 IS NEW CONSTRUCTION.
 PLEASE UPDATE SHEET S0.01 THE 2004 FBC TO INCLUDE THE
 2007 SUPPLE
 2) THRESHOLD BUILDING REQUIREMENTS:
  
 2A) SEMI-COMPLIED. 109.3.6.1 THE ENFORCING AGENCY SHALL
 REQUIRE A SPECIAL INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTIONS ON A THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A
 WRITTEN STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN PREPARED BY THE
 ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE (WRITTEN) STRUCTURAL INSPECTION
 PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCING AGENCY PRIOR TO
 THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
 OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING. THE PURPOSE OF THE STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTION PLAN IS TO PROVIDE SPECIFIC INSPECTION
 PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES SO THAT THE BUILDING CAN BE
 ADEQUATELY INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE PERMITTED
 DOCUMENTS.
  
 SHEET S0.04 DOES HAVE A THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN FOR
 THE FOUNDATION AND FIRST LIFT, THE ISSUE IS THERE IS NO
 INFORMATION FOR THE REQUIRED AUGER CAST PILE, THERE ARE
 NOTES ON S0.02 FOR AUGER CAST PILE BUT WERE NOT
 INCLUDED UNDER THE THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN. FOR THE
 COMPLETE BUILDING PERMIT INSPECTION INFORMATION FOR THE
 EXTERIOR COMPONENTS ( COMPONENTS AND CLADDING) WILL
 NEED TO BE ADDED TO THE THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN ALSO.

 CONSTRUCTION SERVICES DEPARTMENT REQUEST FOR THRESHOLD
 BUILDINGS A SPECIAL INSPECTOR AS REQUIRED BY FL S S
 553.79(5) FLORIDA STATUTES TO THE MINIMUM INSPECTIONS
 REQUIRED BY THIS CODE. CONTACT KEN CONRAD MANAGER OF
 THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR PROGRAM AT (561)805-6666 FOR
 FURTHER INFORMATION BEFORE THE PERMIT MAY BE ISSUED.
 COPIES OF THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR AGREEMENT ARE INCLUDED
 WITHIN THIS REVIEW.
  
  
  
 3) PROVISO: 109.3.10* IMPACT OF CONSTRUCTION. ALL
 CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY REGULATED BY THIS CODE SHALL BE
 PERFORMED IN A MANNER SO AS NOT TO ADVERSELY IMPACT THE
 CONDITION OF ADJACENT PROPERTY, UNLESS SUCH ACTIVITY IS
 PERMITTED TO AFFECT SAID PROPERTY PURSUANT TO A CONSENT
 BY THE APPLICABLE PROPERTY OWNER, UNDER TERMS &
 CONDITIONS AGREEABLE TO THE APPLICABLE PROPERTY OWNER.
 THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE CONTROL OF
 DUST, NOISE, WATER OR DRAINAGE RUN-OFF, DEBRIS, AND THE
 STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. NEW CONSTRUCTION
 ACTIVITY SHALL NOT ADVERSELY IMPACT HISTORIC SURFACE
 WATER DRAINAGE FLOWS SERVING ADJACENT PROPERTIES, & MAY
 REQUIRE SPECIAL DRAINAGE DESIGN COMPLYING WITH
 ENGINEERING STANDARDS TO PRESERVE THE
 POSITIVE PATTERNS OF THE AFFECTED SITES. ACCORDINGLY,
 DEVELOPERS, CONTRACTORS, AND OWNERS OF ALL NEW
 RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING ADDITIONS, POOLS,
 PATIOS, DRIVEWAYS, DECKS, OR SIMILAR ITEMS, ON EXISTING
 PROPERTIES RESULTING IN A DECREASE IN EXCESS OF 800SQ
 FT OF PERMEABLE LAND AREA ON ANY PARCEL SHALL AS A
 PERMIT CONDITION, PROVIDE A PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED
 DRAINAGE PLAN CLEARLY INDICATING COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
 PARAGRAPH. UPON COMPLETION OF THE IMPROVEMENT, A
 CERTIFICATION FROM A LICENSED ENGINEER SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE INSPECTOR IN ORDER TO RECEIVE APPROVAL
 OF THE FINAL INSPECTION.
  
 4) PROVISO 109.3.10.1 HURRICANE PROTECTION. IT SHALL BE
 UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION RELATED
 MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS TO REMAIN LOOSE OR
 OTHERWISE UNSECURED AT A CONSTRUCTION SITE FROM 24 HRS.
 AFTER A HURRICANE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED UNTIL THE
 HURRICANE WATCH OR WARNING HAS BEEN LIFTED. ALL SUCH
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS SHALL BE
 EITHER REMOVED FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE OR SECURED IN
 SUCH A MANNER AS TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF SUCH
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS CAUSING
 DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY FROM HIGH WINDS. ANY
 PERSONS WHO FAILS TO COMPLY TO REMOVE OR SECURE THE
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS WITHIN 24
 HRS AFTER A HURRICANE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED SHALL BE
 SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $500.00. IN ADDITION TO
 THE ABOVE, A LICENSED CONTRACTOR WHO VIOLATES THIS
 SECTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINE PURSUANT TO
 SECTION 113 OF THIS CHAPTER.
