 2) QUEATIONABLE SOILS WITHIN THE PERMIT PACKAGE IS A
 PRELIMINARY REPORT FORM ARDAMAN FILE # 08-2035. WITHIN
 THE REPORT IT STATES "WE WILL PERSENT SPECIFIC
 RECOMMENDATIONS ONCE THE NATURE OF THE BUILDINGS AND
 THE STRUCTURAL LOADS ARE DEFINED." APPRENTLY THERE IS
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO
 ARDAMAN SINCE A AUGOR PILE AND GRADE BEAM FOUNDATION
 HAS BEEN DESIGNED.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE ADDITIONAL SOILS REPORT WITH THE
 RECOMMENDATION FOR AUGOR CAST PLIE SYSTEM.
 1802.2.1 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE THE SAFE-SUSTAINING
 POWER OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT, OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING
 VALUE SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS
 CLAIMED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL REQUIRE THAT THE
 NECESSARY INVESTIGATION BE MADE. SUCH INVESTIGATION
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 1802.4
 THROUGH 1802.6 .
  
 3) BUILDING LOCATION: THIS STRUCTURE IS LOCATED WITH A
 A-5 FLOOD ZONE. THE FINISH FLOOR CAN NOT HAVE A FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION LESS THAN 7'-6". AT THE EAST END OF THE
 BUILDING ELECTRIC ROOM# 104 THE FLOOR ELEVATION IS
 INDICATED AT 5'-6" OR 2 FEET BELOW THE ALLOWABLE FINISH
 FLOOR LEVEL.
  
 4) SHEET A1.1 PHASE 1A TEMORARY CONSTRUCTION PLAN,
 INDICATES A 4'-0" WAIDE WALKWAY ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING. PLEASE GIVE ELEVATION MARKERS ON THIS
 SIDEWALK FROM THE EXISTING SIDEWALK TO THE EXTERIOR
 LANDING IN FORNT OF THE RESTROOMS AT ELEVATION 7'-6".
 THE DIFFERENCE IN GRADE MAY MAKE THIS PORTION OF
 SIDEWALK TO BE CONSIDERED A RAMP AND REQUIRE HANDRAILS
 ON BOTH SIDES, AND GUARD RAILS. 11-4.8.
  
 5) DURING PHASE 1A ARE ALL OF THE PILING AND GRADE
 BEAMS GOING TO BE PLACED AT THIS TIME OR WILL SOME OF
 THIS WORK OCCUR DURING A LATER PHASE?
  
 6) BOTH LS1.0 & VC A-1.0 INDICATE THE STAIRWAY DIRECTLY
 IN FRONT OF THE RESTROOMS. THE HANDRAIL EXTENSIONS (
 HORIZONTAL) ARE MISSING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS.

 INDICATE HANDRAILS LOCATED 2'-6" ABOVE THE RAMPS
 SURFACE, PLEASE REVIEW 11-4.8.5(5) TOP OF HANDRAIL
 GRIPPING SURFACES SHALL BE MOUNTED BETWEEN 34INCHES AND
 38 INCHES ABOVE THE RAMP SURFACES.
  
 8) SHEET VC A-1.0 ACCES RAMP SECTION INDICATES THE USE
 OF STAINLESS STEEL CABLES ON ALUMINUM POST HANDRAIL
 SYSTEM. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
 1607.7.1.1 CONCENTRATED LOAD.
 HANDRAIL ASSEMBLIES AND GUARDS SHALL BE ABLE TO RESIST
 A SINGLE CONCENTRATED LOAD OF 200 POUNDS (0.89 KN),
 APPLIED IN ANY DIRECTION AT ANY POINT ALONG THE TOP,
 AND HAVE ATTACHMENT DEVICES AND SUPPORTING STRUCTURE TO
 TRANSFER THIS LOADING TO APPROPRIATE STRUCTURAL

 PLEASE REVIEW WHERE THE TRUE LOWEST POINT IN THE ROOF
 WILL BE AND THE DISTANCE FROM THE FRONT EDGE OF THE
 ROOF. IT APPEARS THE ROOF DRAINS ARE
 LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 5'-9" BACK FROM THE FRONT DEGE OF
 THE ROOF WHERE AS THE SSCUPPERS ARE LOCATED ONLY 4'-0"
 AWAY FROM THE FRONT EDGE OF THE ROOF.SHHE VC A-7.0 IT
 APPEARS THE ROOF DRAINS ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE LOWEST
 PORTION OF ROOF. 1503.4.
  
 12) PLEASE PROVIDE A ROOFING CUT SECTION AT THE ROOF
 DRAINS INDICATING THE TYPE OF INSULATION TO BE
 INSTALLED, PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 INDACATE A MINIMUM OF R-20.4 VALUE FOR ROOF INSULATION.
 WITHIN THE ROOFING PRODUCT APPROVAL PLEASE HIGHLIGHT OR

 SHALL BE ASSUMED TO BE OPENINGS AND THE BALANCE OF
 GLAZED OPENINGS IN THE REST OF THE BUILDING SHALL BE
 ASSUMED TO BE ZERO UNLESS SUCH GLAZING THAT RECEIVES
 POSITIVE PRESSURE IS IMPACT RESISTANT OR PROTECTED WITH
