 2) THE STRUCTURE IS LOCATED IN AN "AO" FLOOD ZONE. AN
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WILL BE REQUIRED.
  
 3) THE SOIL REPORT CONTAINING THE ORIGINAL SIGNATURES
 DOES NOT HAVE THE EMBOSSED SEAL OF THE ENGINEER.
 ORIGINAL SIGNATURES AND EMBOSSED SEALS ARE REQUIRED PER
 FS 471.025 R401.4 SOIL TESTS. IN AREAS LIKELY TO HAVE
 EXPANSIVE, COMPRESSIBLE, SHIFTING OR OTHER UNKNOWN SOIL
 CHARACTERISTICS, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL DETERMINE
 WHETHER TO REQUIRE A SOIL TEST TO DETERMINE THE SOIL?S
 CHARACTERISTICS AT A PARTICULAR LOCATION. THIS TEST
 SHALL BE MADE BY AN APPROVED AGENCY USING AN APPROVED
 METHOD. SUBMIT A GEOTECHNICAL REPORT
 TO VERIFY THE SAFE BEARING CAPACITY OF THE SOIL.
  
 4) FAC 61G1-16.004(6) REQUIRES THE PRINTED NAME OF THE
 ARCHITECT SEALING THE DOCUMENT TO APPEAR IN THE TITLE
 BLOCK ON EACH SHEET OF THE PLANS.
  
 5) SUBMIT SIGNED AND SEALED TRUSS DRAWINGS AND LAYOUTS
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD FOR THE STRUCTURE. R502.1.3.4
  
 6) NOTE: ALTHOUGH THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY B, SOME OF THE STRUCTURES IN THE PROJECT WILL
 BE LOCATED IN EXPOSURE CATEGORY C, WHICH REQUIRES
 HIGHER DESIGN PRESSURES THAN EXPOSURE B. IN ORDER FOR
 THE PLANS TO BE MASTERED, THE STRUCTURES WILL NEED TO
 BE DESIGNED EXPOSURE C, WHICH IS WORST CASE. SEE FBC
 R301.2.1.4 R301.2.1.4 EXPOSURE CATEGORY.
 FOR EACH WIND DIRECTION CONSIDERED, AN EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY THAT ADEQUATELY REFLECTS THE CHARACTERISTICS
 OF GROUND SURFACE IRREGULARITIES SHALL BE DETERMINED
 FOR THE SITE AT WHICH THE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IS TO
 BE CONSTRUCTED. FOR A SITE LOCATED IN THE TRANSITION
 ZONE BETWEEN CATEGORIES, THE CATEGORY RESULTING IN THE
 LARGEST WIND FORCES SHALL APPLY. ACCOUNT SHALL BE TAKEN
 OF VARIATIONS IN GROUND SURFACE ROUGHNESS THAT ARISE
 FROM NATURAL TOPOGRAPHY AND VEGETATION AS WELL AS FROM
 CONSTRUCTED FEATURES. FOR ANY GIVEN WIND DIRECTION, THE
 EXPOSURE IN WHICH A SPECIFIC BUILDING OR OTHER
 STRUCTURE IS SITED SHALL BE ASSESSED AS BEING ONE OF
 THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: 3. EXPOSURE C. OPEN TERRAIN
 WITH SCATTERED OBSTRUCTIONS, INCLUDING SURFACE
 UNDULATIONS OR OTHER IRREGULARITIES, HAVING HEIGHTS
 GENERALLY LESS THAN 30 FEET (9144 MM) EXTENDING MORE
 THAN 1,500 FEET (457.2 M) FROM THE BUILDING SITE IN ANY
 QUADRANT. THIS EXPOSURE SHALL ALSO APPLY TO ANY
 BUILDING LOCATED WITHIN EXPOSURE B-TYPE TERRAIN WHERE
 THE BUILDING IS DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO OPEN AREAS OF
 EXPOSURE C-TYPE TERRAIN IN ANY QUADRANT FOR A DISTANCE
 OF MORE THAN 600 FEET (182.9 M). SHORT-TERM (LESS THAN
 TWO YEAR) CHANGES IN THE PRE-EXISTING TERRAIN EXPOSURE,
 FOR THE PURPOSES OF DEVELOPMENT, SHALL NOT BE
 CONSIDERED OPEN FIELDS. WHERE DEVELOPMENT BUILD OUT
 WILL OCCUR WITHIN THREE YEARS AND THE RESULTANT
 CONDITION WILL MEET THE DEFINITION OF EXPOSURE B,
 EXPOSURE B SHALL BE REGULATING FOR THE PURPOSE OF
 PERMITTING. THIS CATEGORY INCLUDES FLAT OPEN COUNTRY,

 DOES NOT INCLUDE INLAND BODIES OF WATER THAT PRESENT A

 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R314.4 THERMAL BARRIER.
 UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN SECTION R314.5, FOAM PLASTIC
 SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE INTERIOR OF A BUILDING BY
 AN APPROVED THERMAL BARRIER OF MINIMUM 0.5 INCH (12.7
 MM) GYPSUM WALLBOARD OR AN APPROVED FINISH MATERIAL
 EQUIVALENT TO A THERMAL BARRIER MATERIAL THAT WILL
 LIMIT THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE RISE OF THE UNEXPOSED
 SURFACE TO NO MORE THAN 250?F (121?C) AFTER 15 MINUTES
 OF FIRE EXPOSURE COMPLYING WITH THE ASTM E 119 STANDARD
 TIME TEMPERATURE CURVE. THE THERMAL BARRIER SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN SUCH A MANNER THAT IT WILL REMAIN IN PLACE
 FOR 15 MINUTES BASED ON NFPA 286 WITH THE ACCEPTANCE
 CRITERIA OF SECTION R315.4, FM4880, UL 1040, OR UL
 1715.
  
 8) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R314.5.3 ATTICS.
 WHERE ATTIC ACCESS IS REQUIRED BY SECTION R807.1 AND
 WHERE ENTRY IS MADE ONLY FOR SERVICE OF UTILITIES, FOAM
 PLASTICS SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST IGNITION BY
 1.5-INCH-THICK (38 MM) MINERAL FIBER INSULATION,
 1/4-INCH-THICK (6.4 MM) WOOD STRUCTURAL PANELS,
 3/8-INCH (9.5 MM) PARTICLEBOARD, 1/4-INCH (6.4 MM)
 HARDBOARD, 3/8-INCH (9.5 MM) GYPSUM BOARD, OR
 CORROSION-RESISTANT STEEL HAVING A BASE METAL THICKNESS
 OF 0.016 INCH (0.406 MM) AND THE THERMAL BARRIER
 SPECIFIED IN SECTION R314.4 IS NOT REQUIRED. THE
 IGNITION BARRIER IS NOT REQUIRED WHERE THE FOAM PLASTIC
 INSULATION HAS BEEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 R314.6.
  
 9) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND EVALUATION
 REPORT FOR THE SPRAY FOAM INSULATION (ICYNENE). SEE
 COMMENTS 7 AND 8 ABOVE.
  
 10) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R803.2.3.1 SHEATHING
 FASTENINGS.
 WOOD STRUCTURAL PANEL SHEATHING SHALL BE FASTENED TO
 ROOF FRAMING WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT 6 INCHES ON
 CENTER AT EDGES AND 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT INTERMEDIATE
 FRAMING. WHERE ROOF FRAMING WITH A SPECIFIC GRAVITY,
 0.42 < G < 0.49 IS USED, SPACING OF RING-SHANK
 FASTENERS SHALL BE 4 INCHES ON CENTER IN NAILING ZONE 3
 FOR 130 MPH OR GREATER DESIGN WIND SPEEDS IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH FIGURE R803.2.3.1.
  
 11) PROVIDE A DETAIL INDICATING THE DESIGN OF THE TWO
 HOUR FIRE WALL AND ROOF ASSEMBLY AT THE COVERED REAR
 PATIOS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH R317.2.1 CONTINUITY.
 THE COMMON WALL FOR TOWNHOUSES SHALL BE CONTINUOUS FROM
 THE FOUNDATION TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ROOF SHEATHING,
 DECK OR SLAB AND SHALL EXTEND THE FULL LENGTH OF THE
 COMMON WALL INCLUDING WALLS EXTENDING THROUGH AND
 SEPARATING ATTACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURES. ALSO SEE
 317.2.4 AND R317.2.2.
  
 12) THE OPENING DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE DOORS IN THE
 WINDLOAD SCHEDULE ON S-3 AND THE DOOR SCHEDULES ON
 SHEETS TU-1.0 THRU TU-3.0 DO NOT CORRESPOND. PLEASE
 CORRECT. FBC R301.2.1
  
 13) SPECIFY THE INSULATION ON THE PLANS AT THE 2 HOUR
 FIRE RATED CONCRETE BLOCK AND WOOD FRAME ADJACENT WALLS
 SEPARATING THE UNITS. THE WALLS ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 INSULATED FROM THE FLOOR SLAB TO THE SPRAY FOAM
 INSULATION AT THE ROOF. PLEASE SPECIFY INSULATION TYPE
 AND R-VALUE ON THE PLANS FOR THE ADJACENT BLOCK WALLS
 AT THE WOOD TRUSS SECTION OF THE 2 HOUR FIRE RATED
 ASSEMBLY. ALSO REVISE ENERGY CALCULATION FORMS TO
 INCLUDE THIS AREA. FBC 13-6.
  
 14) ON SHEET A4 SPECIFY THE APPROVED AND LISTED 2-HOUR
 FIRE RATED WOOD FRAME ASSEMBLY THAT WILL BE USED.
  
 15) THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS FORMS THAT WERE SUBMITTED
 ARE FOR THE 2007 FBC AND THE PLANS ARE FOR THE 2004
 FBC. PLEASE REVISE.
  
 16) THE R-VALUE LISTED FOR THE UNVENTED ATTIC IS R1.O.
 THE PLANS SPECIFY R-19. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 17) SPECIFY THE METHOD OF ATTACHMENT THAT WILL BE USED
 TO INSTALL THE CONCRETE ROOF TILE. R905.3 PLEASE CIRCLE
 THE APPROPRIATE FASTENER AND CORRESPONDING ATTACHMENT
 RESISTANCE ON THE NOA. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVERTURN
 MOMENT FOR THE ROOF TILE VARIES WITH THICKNESS OF THE
 ROOF SHEATHING FOR SOME ATTACHMENTS.
  
 18) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF AN NOA OR OTHER APPROVED
 EVALUATION REPORT INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 FOR THE OVERHEAD GARAGE
 DOORS AND THE SLIDING GLASS DOORS.
  
 19) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBERS THAT ARE LISTED IN THE
 WINDOW SCHEDULE FOR THE SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS AND THE
 SLIDING WINDOWS ARE REVERSED. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 20) THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON THE PLANS SPECIFIES LARGE
 MISSILE IMPACT RATED DOORS AND THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR
 THE FRONT DOOR IS FOR A NON-RATED DOOR. PLEASE CLARIFY.
 IF NON-RATED DOOR IS TO BE USED, SUBMIT PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR STORM PANELS.
  
 21) ON SHEET S-1 DETAILS A AND B SPECIFY #4 DOWELS IN
 THE FILLED CELLS AND THE COLUMN SCHEDULE SPECIFIES #5
 BARS. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 22) THE BUILDINGS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE APPROVED
 ADDRESSES BEFORE THE PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED. CONTACT

 23) THE ROOF DESIGN DOES NOT APPEAR TO PROVIDE PROPER
 SEPARATION AT THE GABLES AND HIP ROOFS THAT INTERSECT

 DRAWINGS ARE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO DETERMINE IF THE
 SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS OF R317.2 HAVE BEEN COMPLIED
 WITH.
  
 24) THE GABLE ROOF OVERHANGS CAN NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE
 PROPERTY LINES. R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS.EXTERIOR WALLS
 SEPARATED BY LESS THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM) SHALL HAVE NOT
 LESS THAN A ONE-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE RATING WITH
 EXPOSURE FROM BOTH SIDES. PROJECTIONS SHALL NOT EXTEND
 TO A POINT CLOSER THAN 4 FEET (1220 MM) FROM AN
 ADJACENT PROJECTION OR WALL.
  
 25) SHEET T-1 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS SPECIFIES
 THAT THE CODE USED FOR THE DESIGN IS THE 2004 FBC AND
 ON S1 THE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS SPECIFIES THE 2007 FBC AS
 THE CODE USED FOR DESIGN. THE PLANS ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 DESIGNED USING ONLY ONE EDITION OF THE BUILDING CODE.
 THE CODES CAN NOT BE MIXED FOR THE DESIGN OF A
 STRUCTURE. PLEASE CHOOSE ONE CODE AND USE IT FOR ALL OF
 THE DESIGN.
  
 26) THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WILL BE REQUIRED TO DETERMINE
 IF THE NO BURN FIRE-RETARDANT CAN BE USED IN PLACE OF
 THE 5/8" TYPE X DRYWALL AT THE SEPARATION WALLS. FBC
