 2004 FL. RESIDENTIAL CODE WITH 2007 REVISIONS.
  
 1- A BUILDING PERMIT CAN'T BE ISSUED WITHOUT THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 13-103.3 OF 2004 FBC.
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS COMMENTS WERE NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL
 FROM PREVIOUS CHECKLIST. NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INFORMATION ON TABLE 6C-2 ON BACK OF FORM SUBMITTED. IT
 WAS ALSO ADVISED TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE
 PERCENTAGE OF GLASS AREA THAT IS ALLOWED. AREA SHOWN ON
 PLANS DON'T COMPLY WITH TABLE 6C-2 OF ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED. RE-SUBMIT ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 WITH COMPLETE INFORMATION. ALSO, OWNER/AGENT TO SIGN
 AND DATE BOTTOM OF FORM AS REQUIRED.
  
 2- OWES $ 237.60 FOR UPDATED VALUATION. (REPEAT
 COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED).
  
 3- NEED RECORDED NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT. SEC. 713.13
 FLORIDA STATUTE.
 NOTE: THIS MAY BE RECORDED LATER AT TIME OF PERMIT PICK
 UP.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE
 9B-72 FOR:
 A) FLAT ROOF MODIFIED BITUMEN. NOA 03-0501.02 SUBMITTED
 EXPIRED ON 11/06/08. NEED TO PROVIDE CURRENT NOA. ALSO,
 NEED TO PROVIDE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR NAIL ENHANCING
 AT PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS. IF NOA REQUIRES
 CALCULATIONS TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED, THEN PROVIDE
 SIGNED AND SEALED CALCULATIONS.
 NOTE: TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THAT BUILDING IS LOCATED
 ON EXPOSURE 'C" WHEN PROVIDING THE RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS. ALSO, ON PREVIOUS COMMENTS IT WAS
 MENTIONED THAT NAIL SPACING OF 5" O.C. WOULDN'T WORK
 FOR ZONE 3.
  
 B) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS (REPEAT COMMENT). PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 C) POLYFOAM TO BE USED FOR ROOF TILE FASTENING. SEE
 TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL. (REPEAT COMMENT).
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.3.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 6- PROVIDE SOIL TEST REPORT AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R401.4
 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT
 ADDRESSED AT ALL).
  
 7- SHEET A-1: ON PREVIOUS CHECKLIST IT WAS NOTED THAT
 DOOR LEADING TO SLEEPING ROOM WAS NOT ALLOWED (SEC.
 R309.1). PLANS WERE REVISED TO SHOW NEW GYM INSTEAD OF
 MOTHER IN LAW SUITE. PROVIDE CLARIFICATION AND REVISE
 PERMIT APPLICATION TO DESCRIBE NEW GYM INSTEAD OF
 MOTHER IN LAW SUITE.
 NOTE: TYPE OF DOOR LEADING TO THE NEW GYM STILL NEEDS
 TO COMPLY WITH SEC. R309.1 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL
 CODE.
  
 8- REVISE SIZE OF MULLION SHOWN ON MULLIONS DETAILS.
 (REPEAT COMMENT). SEE MULLION PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR SIZE
 OF MULLION THAT MEETS THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 9- REVISE STRUCTURAL NOTE #2 TO INCLUDE ALL LOADS,
 INCLUDING THE ATTIC LIVE LOAD AS REQUIRED BY TABLE
 R301.5 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE (REPEAT
 COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL).
  
 10- REVISE NOTE: # 14 OF STRUCTURAL NOTES ON SHEET A-1.
 NAILS REQUIRE MIN. 1 3/4" EMBEDMENT INTO THE HORIZONTAL
 STRUCTURAL MEMBERS. (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT
 ALL). SEE ASTM C-1063 FOR MIN. SIZES REQUIRED.
  
 11- PLANS SHOW EXISTING GENERATOR. PROVIDE GENERATOR
 SPECIFICATIONS TO CHECK MINIMUM DISTANCE REQUIRED FROM
 THE NEW WALL TO THE EXISTING GENERATOR. PLANS SHOW
 2'-0" CLEARANCE. THIS COMMENT IS TO AVOID CONFLICT IN
 THE FUTURE IF THE EXISTING GENERATOR REQUIRES MORE THAN
 2'-0" CLEARANCE.
