 CHECKLIST.
 REVIEW UNDER 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE WITH 2007
 REVISIONS.
  
 1- NEED RECORDED NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 713.13 FLORIDA STATUTE.
 NOTE: THIS MAY BE SUBMITTED AT TIME OF PERMIT PICK UP.
  
 2- SHEET 2:
 A) PROVIDE CONNECTION DETAIL AT POINT WHERE THE TWO HIP
 RAFTERS MEET THE ROOF GIRDER. SEC. 106.1.2 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN LOADS OF SEC. R301 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL
 CODE. THERE IS NOT DETAIL OR SPECS PROVIDED FOR THIS
 CONNECTION.
  
 B) CLARIFY IF ROOF IS GOING TO BE ATTACHED TO EXISTING
 HOUSE OR NOT. PROVIDE DETAIL AS REQUIRED. SEC. 106.1.2
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE DESIGN LOADS OF SEC. R301 OF 2004 FLORIDA
 RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 C) CLARIFY IF HIP ROOF RAFTER IS A 2X MEMBER OR 4X
 MEMBER. CONNECTOR "B" SPECIFIED ON CONNECTOR SCHEDULE
 IS HCP4Z, WHICH IS FOR A 4X WOOD MEMBER. ROOF FRAMING
 PLAN SHOWS A 2X WOOD MEMBER. REVISE/CLARIFY AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 D) SPECIFY CONNECTION OF ROOF RAFTERS TO HIP RAFTER.
 THERE IS NOT CONNECTOR SPECIFIED ON ROOF FRAMING PLAN.
 SEC. 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R301 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL
 CODE.
  
 3- SHEET 3:
 A) REVISE ROOF SHEATHING NAILING SCHEDULE TABLE AND
 PLYWOOD NAILING SKETCH. NAIL TYPE TO BE 8D RING SHANK
 NAILS (NOT PLAIN 8D) FOR ALL ROOF ZONES. ALSO, ROOF
 ZONE 3 NEEDS TO HAVE NAIL SPACING AT 4"O.C. AT EDGES
 AND INTERMEDIATE SUPPORTS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R803.2.3.1 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
 ALSO, REMOVE NOTE STATING THAT RING SHANK NAILS ARE NOT
 REQUIRED WHEN MEAN ROOF HEIGHT <25'.
  
 B) WIND ZONES SKETCH SHOWING THE HIP ROOF ON ONE SIDE
 AND GABLE END ON THE OTHER SIDE IS MISSING ROOF ZONES 2
 AND 3 ON HIP SIDE. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEE FIGURE
 R301.2(8) OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 C) TYPICAL WALL SECTION SHOWS 1X6 FASCIA BOARD, WHILE
 PLYWOOD NAILING DETAIL SHOWS 2X6 WOOD FASCIA. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO MATCH.
  
 4- PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9B-72 FOR ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS
 SPECIFIED ON PLANS AND DETAILS.
 NOTE: PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER
 PAGE AND PAGE WHERE CONNECTOR IS SHOWN. NO NEED TO
 SUBMIT COMPLETE REPORT. THIS APPLIES TO STRUCTURAL
 CONNECTORS ONLY.
