 WORK A 10,000 SQUARE FOOT SLAB. IS THIS TO BE FOR A
 SLAB OR A MONOLITHIC FOUNDATION?
  
 1C) UNDER THE HEADING ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION
 "DESCRIBE PROJECT IN DETAIL" PLEASE INDICATE IF THE
 STRUCTURE THAT WILL BE ERECTED ON THE MONOLITHIC
 FOUNDATION IF THIS STRUCTURE WILL BE TEMPORARY
 (LESS THAN 180DAYS) OR PERMANANT.
  
 3103.1 GENERAL.
 THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO
 STRUCTURES ERECTED FOR A PERIOD OF LESS THAN 180 DAYS.
 TENTS AND OTHER MEMBRANE STRUCTURES ERECTED FOR A
 PERIOD OF LESS THAN 180 DAYS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE. THOSE ERECTED FOR A
 LONGER PERIOD OF TIME SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE
 SECTIONS OF THIS CODE. SECTION 3105.5 RIGID AWNINGS AND
 CANOPY SHUTTERS HAVE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THERE FRAMES
 BASED ON A BASIC WIND SPEED OF 90 MPH, TENTS DO NOT
 HAVE THIS DERATING OF WIND VALUES. PLEASE REVIEW
 FOUNDATION CALCULATION FOR 140 MPH/ 3 SECOND GUST.
  
 1D) SHEET S-1 UNDER WIND LOADS INDICATES THAT THE
 STRUCTURE IS DESIGNED FOR 90 MPH WIND SPEED, OUR
 JURISDICTION IS LOCATED WITHIN A 140 MPH WIND ZONE, 3
 SECOND GUST, PLEASE SEE FIGURE 1609.
 THIS WILL EFFECT THE STRUCTURAL MONOLITHIC FOUNDATION
 IF IT IS DESIGNED TO ONLY 90 MPH, PLEASE REVISE TO 140
 MPH WIND ZONE.
  
 1E) PLEASE PROVIDE THE USE AND OCCUPANCY, IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 3.
  
 1F) THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION AS DEFINED IN CHAPTER 6,
 TABLE 601 , ASSUMED PROPERTY LINE BETWEEN BUILDINGS,
 TABLE 602 & TABLE 704.8.
  
 1G) THE OCCUPANT LOAD, SEE 1004.
  
 1H) IF AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS PROVIDED
  
 1I) WHETHER THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS REQUIRED.
  
 2) 1802.2.1 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE THE
 SAFE-SUSTAINING POWER OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT, OR WHERE
 A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS
 CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL REQUIRE
 THAT THE NECESSARY INVESTIGATION BE MADE. SUCH
 INVESTIGATION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
 SECTIONS 1802.4 THROUGH 1802.6 .
  
 3) BUILDING PROVISO: 105.13. SPECIAL FOUNDATION PERMIT
 WHEN APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT TO ERECT OR ENLARGE A
 BUILDING HAS BEEN FILED, & PENDING ISSUANCE OF SUCH
 PERMIT, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY, AT HIS/ HER
 DISCRETION, ISSUE A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE FOUNDATION
 ONLY, UPON WRITTEN REQUEST OF THE OWNER AND CONTRACTOR.
 THE HOLDER OF SUCH A SPECIAL PERMIT IS PROCEEDING AT
 HIS OR HER OWN RISK AND WITHOUT ASSURANCE THAT A PERMIT
 FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WORK WILL BE GRANTED
 AND THAT CORRECTIONS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO
 MEET THE PROVISIONS OF THE TECHNICAL CODE.
  
 4) BUILDING PROVISO: 109.3.10* IMPACT OF CONSTRUCTION.
 ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY REGULATED BY THIS CODE SHALL
 BE PERFORMED IN A MANNER SO AS NOT TO ADVERSELY IMPACT
 THE CONDITION OF ADJACENT PROPERTY, UNLESS SUCH
 ACTIVITY IS PERMITTED TO AFFECT SAID PROPERTY PURSUANT
 TO A CONSENT BY THE APPLICABLE PROPERTY OWNER, UNDER
 TERMS & CONDITIONS AGREEABLE TO THE APPLICABLE PROPERTY
 OWNER. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE CONTROL
 OF DUST, NOISE, WATER OR DRAINAGE RUN-OFF, DEBRIS, AND
 THE STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. NEW CONSTRUCTION
 ACTIVITY SHALL NOT ADVERSELY IMPACT HISTORIC SURFACE
 WATER DRAINAGE FLOWS SERVING ADJACENT PROPERTIES, & MAY
 REQUIRE SPECIAL DRAINAGE DESIGN COMPLYING WITH
 ENGINEERING STANDARDS TO PRESERVE THE
 POSITIVE PATTERNS OF THE AFFECTED SITES. ACCORDINGLY,
 DEVELOPERS, CONTRACTORS, AND OWNERS OF ALL NEW
 RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING ADDITIONS, POOLS,
 PATIOS, DRIVEWAYS, DECKS, OR SIMILAR ITEMS, ON EXISTING
 PROPERTIES RESULTING IN A DECREASE IN EXCESS OF 800SQ
 FT OF PERMEABLE LAND AREA ON ANY PARCEL SHALL AS A
 PERMIT CONDITION, PROVIDE A PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED
 DRAINAGE PLAN CLEARLY INDICATING COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
 PARAGRAPH. UPON COMPLETION OF THE IMPROVEMENT, A
 CERTIFICATION FROM A LICENSED ENGINEER SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE INSPECTOR IN ORDER TO RECEIVE APPROVAL
 OF THE FINAL INSPECTION.
