 1. PLEASE PROVIDE ALL RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 2. PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT, A CLASS
 A SPECIAL USE PERMIT SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO AND APPROVED
 BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT. PURSUANT THE
 CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 REGULATIONS (ZLDR), SECTION 94-304(E)(2): DOCKS
 ACCESSORY TO RESIDENTIAL USES WITH NONCONTIGUOUS
 RIPARIAN RIGHTS PERMITTED SUBJECTED TO APPROVAL BY THE
 CITY COMMISSION OF A CLASS A SPECIAL USE PERMIT.
  
 A. APPLICABLE LOCATIONS. ACCESSORY DOCKS MAY BE
 PERMITTED IN ALL RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS WITHIN
 THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
  
 1. FROM THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF THE CENTERLINE OF
 TUXEDO LANE TO THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF THE CENTERLINE
 OF AVILA ROAD;
  
 2. FROM THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF THE CENTERLINE OF
 GREENWOOD ROAD TO THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF THE
 PROPERTY LINE LOCATED BETWEEN SUMMA STREET AND SEVILLE
 ROAD.
  
 B. ADDITIONAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS. ADDITIONAL
 REQUIREMENTS ARE STATED DOCKS ACCESSORY TO RESIDENTIAL
 USES WITH CONTIGUOUS RIPARIAN RIGHTS IN SUBSECTION (B).
  
 C. ADDITIONAL STANDARDS.
  
 1. SEE DOCKS ACCESSORY TO RESIDENTIAL USES WITH
 CONTIGUOUS RIPARIAN RIGHT IN SUBSECTION (C).
  
 2. ENVIRONMENT. MARINE GRASSES, ETHNIC COMMUNITIES, AND
 IMPORTANT ESTUARINE OR ECOLOGICAL FEATURES SHALL NOT BE
 AFFECTED SIGNIFICANTLY BY THE PROPOSED DOCK
 CONSTRUCTION.
  
 3. IMPACT ON NEIGHBORS. CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROPOSED
 DOCK SHALL NOT INTRUDE UPON THE RIPARIAN RIGHTS OF
 OTHERS, INCLUDING RIGHTS VESTED TO THE PUBLIC.
  
 4. HAZARD TO NAVIGATION. THE DOCK WILL NOT CONSTITUTE A
 HAZARD TO NAVIGATION.
  
 5. TRAFFIC CONGESTION. THE USE OF THE DOCK WILL NOT
 CREATE LAND SIDE TRAFFIC CONGESTION OR SAFETY PROBLEMS.
  
 6. FENCES. A SECURITY FENCE MAY BE CONSTRUCTED ON A
 DOCK TO CONSIST OF RAILS AND STILES WHICH DO NOT EXCEED
 1 INCHES IN CROSS SECTIONS AND WHICH ARE PLACED NO
 CLOSER THAN EIGHT INCHES AND FOUR INCHES ON CENTER OR
 IT MAY CONSIST OF CHAIN LINK.
