 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.

 2) NOTE: 713.13(6) THE POSTING OF THE NOTICE OF
 COMMENCEMENT AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE BEFORE THE FIRST
 INSPECTION.
  
 3) 2004 FBC EXISTING 301.5 A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR AN
 OWNER MUST ELECT ONE OR A COMBINATION OF LEVELS OF
 ALTERATION PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 303, 304 AND 305 OF
 THIS CODE.
  
 4) PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT (FIRST TIME REVIEW) AFTER
 JULY 1ST, 2007 SHALL BE REVIEWED TO THE 2004 FBC
 BUILDING WITH THE 2007 SUPPLEMENTS. THIS INFORMATION
 SHALL BE INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS.
  
 5) THE INFORMATION FOR THE BUILDING IS NOT LEGIBLE
 106.1.1. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT
 CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE & EXTENT OF
 THE WORK PROPOSED & SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM
 TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS,
 ORDINANCES, AND RULES AND REGULATIONS AS DETERMINED BY
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. INDICATE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF
 THE SPACE AND THE AREA OF THE MEZZANINE.
  
 6) THE DRAWINGS NEED TO CLEARLY INDICATE THE TYPE OF
 BUILDING PER CHAPTER 6 AND TABLE 503 AND THE USE AND
 OCCUPANCY PER CHAPTER 3.
  
 7) THE CLEAR HEIGHT ABOVE AND BELOW THE MEZZANINE FLOOR
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 7 FEET. FBC 505.1
 SHOWS COMPLIANCE. THE AGGREGATE AREA OF THE MEZZANINE
 WITHIN A ROOM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE-THIRD OF THE AREA OF
 THE ROOM OR SPACE IN WHICH THEY ARE LOCATED. FBC 502.2
  
 8) PLEASE INDICATE THE OCCUPANT LOAD OF THE MEZZANINE
 AND THE ENTIRE SPACE ON THE DRAWINGS PER 505.4 TABLE
 1004.1.2 AND TABLE 1607.1
  
 9) PROVIDE AN EXISTING FLOOR PLAN OF THE EXISTING AREA
 AND A PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN WITH ALL ELEVATION OF THE NEW
 AREA INCLUDING THE FRONT AND SIDES ELEVATIONS.
  
 10) 110.4.2 STORAGE & FACTORY- INDUS-TRIAL OCCUPANCIES.
 IT SHALL BE THE
 RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER, AGENT, PROPRIETOR OR
 OCCUPANT OF GROUP S AND GROUP F OCCUPANCIES, OR ANY
 OCCUPANCY WHERE EXCESSIVE FLOOR LOADING IS LIKELY TO
 OCCUR, TO EMPLOY A COMPETENT ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER IN
 COMPUTING THE SAFE FLOOR LOAD CAPACITY. ALL SUCH
 COMPUTATIONS SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN AFFIDAVIT FROM
 THE ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER
 STATING THE SAFE ALLOWABLE FLOOR LOADS ON EACH FLOOR IN
 POUNDS PER SQ FT. THE COMPUTATIONS & AFFIDAVIT SHALL BE
 FILED AS A PERMANENT RECORD OF THE BLDG DEPT.
  
 11) 110.4.3.SIGNS REQUIRED. IN EVERY BUILDING OR PART
 OF A BUILDING USED FOR STORAGE, INDUSTRIAL OR HAZARDOUS
 PURPOSES, THE SAFE FLOOR LOADS, AS REVIEWED BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL ON THE PLAN, SHALL BE MARKED ON
 PLATES OF APPROVED DESIGN WHICH SHALL BE SUPPLIED &
 SECURELY AFFIXED BY THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING IN A
 CONSPICUOUS PLACE IN EACH STORY TO
 WHICH THEY RELATE. SUCH PLATES SHALL NOT BE REMOVED OR
 DEFACED, & IF LOST, REMOVED THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING
 SHALL REPLACE THEM. PLEASE SEE FBC 1603.3 FOR MORE
 INFORMATION.
  
 12) DETAIL #3 FAILS TO INDICATE THE ATTACHMENT DETAIL
 FOR THE FLOOR JOISTS. STATE THE TYPE OF CONNECTIONS FOR
 THE FLOOR JOISTS TO THE LEDGER AND THE OUTER WALL.
 INDICATE THE GRADE AND SPECIES OF THE FLOOR JOISTS ON
 THE PLANS PER FBC 2308.8. THE PLANS FAIL TO SHOW
 COLUMNS AND WALLS SUPPORTING THE MEZZANINE. THE
 CONNECTION DETAIL FOR THE GUARDRAIL IS ALSO REQUIRED.
  
 13) IS THE STAIRWAY BEING ENCLOSED? IF SO, THIS WILL
 MAKE THE MEZZANINE AN ENCLOSED AREA. PLEASE SHOW
 CLEARLY IF THE WALL AROUND THE STAIRS GOES TO THE DECK
 ABOVE.
