 1- CLARIFY WHICH BUILDING IS THE CONSTRUCTION TAKEN
 PLACE. PERMIT APPLICATION AND ARCHITECTURAL PLANS CALL
 FOR 1017 N. OLIVE AVE, WHILE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 CALLS FOR 1021 N. OLIVE AVE. ALSO, ACCORDING TO
 PROPERTY APPRAISAL WEBSITE PARCEL ID # SHOWN ON PERMIT
 APPLICATION CORRESPONDS TO 1021 N. OLIVE AVE.
  
 2- PROVIDE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WITH CORRECT ADDRESS
 AND PARCEL ID NUMBER.
  
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE STAIRWAY FRAMING DETAILS DETAILS
 AND SECTIONS TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE 1607.1 FBC
 2004 AND SEC. 1609.1 FBC 2004 (NOTE: SPECIFY ALL LOADS
 TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION FOR THE DESIGN). SHOW LOCATION
 OF STEEL COLUMNS AND WOOD COLUMNS. PROVIDE ANCHORING OF
 STAIRS AT BOTTOM. SPECIFY STRINGERS AND CONNECTIONS.
 SPECIFY ATTACHMENT OF TOP STAIR LANDING TO EXISTING
 BUILDING. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SIZE OF STEEL
 BUCKET TO FASTEN TO STEEL COLUMN. CLARIFY DETAIL
 CONNECTION AT TOP OF WOOD COLUMN. SPECIFY MATERIALS
 USED TO BUILD STAIRS.
  
 4- PROVIDE GUARDRAIL AND HANDRAIL DETAILS/SECTIONS TO
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH STRUCTURAL DESIGN TABLE 1607.1 AND
 SEC. 11-4.26.3 OF FBC 2004.
  
 5- PROVIDE RISER, TREAD AND NOSING DETAILS TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 11-4.9.2 AND 11-4.9.3 FBC 2004.
 ***NOTE: OPEN RISERS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
  
 6- HANDRAILS NEED TO COMPLY WITH SEC. 11-4.9.4(2) AND
 FIGURE 19 OF CHAPTER 11 FBC 2004.
 ***NOTE: CHECK TOP AND BOTTOM HANDRAIL ENDING.
  
 7- TYPICAL STAIR DETAILS DON'T APPLY TO THIS PROJECT.
 THEY ARE FOR STAIRS ATTACHED TO A WALL. REVISE SIZE OF
 HANDRAIL TO COMPLY WITH SEC. 11-4.26.2 FBC 2004. CHECK
 RISER AND TREAD SIZES. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH
 PROPOSED STAIRS.
  
 8- PROVIDE DETAILS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 GUARDRAIL HEIGHT ( 42" AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 1012.2 FBC
 2004) , AND OPENINGS LIMITATIONS, SEC 1012.3 FBC 2004.
  
 9- PROVIDE DETAILS SPECS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 HANDRAIL HEIGHT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 11-4.9.4
 FBC 2004.
  
 10- PLANS NEED TO SPECIFY SPECIFIC CODES AND YEAR (SEC.
 105.3 AND 105.3.1 OF CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004) AND
 ALL INFORMATION REQUIRED BY SEC. 1603 FBC 2004.
 NOTE: CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH IS LOCATED ON BASIC WIND
 SPEED OF 140MPH. SEC. 117 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 11- PROVIDE PLANS SHOWING EXISTING STAIRS AND LANDINGS
 TO BE REMOVED. CLARIFY WHY EXISTING LANDING TO BE
 REMOVED IS SHOWN LARGER THAN THE PROPOSED ONE. PROVIDE
 INFORMATION SHOWING BUILDING USE AND NUMBER OF PEOPLE
 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH MINIMUM REQUIRED WIDTH OF
 MEANS OF EGRESS OF SEC. 1009.1 FBC 2004. (44" MINIMUM
 UNLESS EXCEPTIONS APPLY).
  
 12- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. UPDATE PERMIT VALUATION TO INCLUDE EXISTING STAIRS
 DEMOLITION AND DEBRIS REMOVAL, PROFESSIONAL DESIGNER
 FEES AND CONTRACTOR OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 108.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 13- SPECIFY TYPE OF ALTERATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 301.5 OF 2004 FLORIDA EXISTING BUILDING CODE.
  
 14- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE
 9B-72 FOR ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED
 ON PLANS.
 NOTE: PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER
 PAGE AND PAGE WHERE CONNECTOR IS SHOWN. NO NEED TO
 PROVIDE COMPLETE REPORT.
  
 15- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.3.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 16- SCALE FOR DRAWING DETAIL 4/SP IS INCORRECT. REVISE
