 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WILL
 BE REQUIRED. FS 713
  
 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 3) SUBMIT 2 COPIES OF A SURVEY OR SITE PLAN SHOWING THE
 DISTANCES FROM THE CARPORT WALLS TO THE PROPERTY LINES
 AND STRUCTURES ON ADJACENT PROPERTY IF LESS THAN SIX
 FEET TO PROPERTY LINES. FBC R302.1 AND R302.2 REQUIRES
 EXTERIOR WALLS TO BE ONE HOUR FIRE RATED WITH NO
 OPENINGS IF SEPARATED BY LESS THAN SIX FEET.
  
 4) PLEASE LIST THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION OF THE
 PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DRAWINGS ON THE PLANS.
  
 5) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF COMPETED AND SIGNED ENERGY
 CALCULATION FORMS ON THE PLANS. FBC 13-600
  
 6) SPECIFY THE WALL AND CEILING INSULATION ON THE
 PLANS. FBC 13-600.
  
 7) PROVIDE A WALL SECTION OF THE NEW WALL ON THE PLANS.

 10) ON PAGE 3 OF THE PLANS THE C-2 COLUMNS ARE
 SPECIFIED AS 4'-8" O.C. AND NOTE #2 SPECIFIES
 REINFORCING AT 48" (4') O.C. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 11) THE C-1 COLUMNS ARE SPECIFIED AT 4'-8" O.C. BUT ARE
 ONLY LOCATED WHERE THE NEW MASONRY WALLS ATTACH TO THE
 EXISTING MASONRY WALLS. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 12) THE SIZE OF THE EXISTING FOOTINGS SUPPORTING THE
 NEW MASONRY WALLS SHALL BE CAPABLE OF ACCOMMODATING ALL
 LOADS AND TRANSMITTING THEM TO THE SOIL. FBC 403.1
  
 13) SPECIFY THE WINDOW AND DOOR SIZES AND TYPES ON THE
 PLANS. R301.2(2) & FAC RULE 9B-72
  
 14) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R404.1.6 HEIGHT ABOVE FINISHED
 GRADE. CONCRETE AND MASONRY FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL
 EXTEND ABOVE THE FINISHED GRADE ADJACENT TO THE
 FOUNDATION AT ALL POINTS A MINIMUM OF 4 INCHES (102 MM)
 WHERE MASONRY VENEER IS USED AND A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES
 (152 MM) ELSEWHERE.
  
 15) PAGE 2 OF THE PLANS SPECIFY IMPACT WINDOWS AND THE
 PRODUCT APPROVALS THAT WERE SUBMITTED ARE FOR
 NON-IMPACT AND REQUIRE IMPACT PROTECTION. PLEASE
 CORRECT. R301.2.1.2

 R301.2.1.2, IF IMPACT RATED PRODUCTS ARE NOT TO BE
 INSTALLED.
  
 19) SPECIFY THE APPLICABLE CODE AND WIND DESIGN
 INFORMATION ON THE PLANS. FBC R301 NOTE: THE CODE IS
 THE FBC 2004 WITH 2007 REVISIONS AND THE WINDSPEED IS
 140 MPH (3 SECOND GUST) EXPOSURE CATEGORY B.
