 REVIEW UNDER 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE AND 2004 FBC
 WITH 2007 REVISIONS.
  
 1- AFTER DRAWINGS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD. (561)233-5120) TO VERIFY IF
 IMPACT FEES ARE DUE. BRING BACK STAMPED PLANS AND COPY
 OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
  
 2- CONSTRUCTION OF NEW WALLS IS NOT CLEAR. TYPICAL WALL
 SECTION SHOWS CONCRETE BLOCK LOW WALL WITH 2X4 FRAMED
 WALL ON TOP WHILE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN SHOWS ONLY
 CONCRETE BLOCK WALL. CLARIFY/REVISE AS REQUIRED. AND,
 PROVIDE DOOR AND WINDOW COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS
 SHOWING ALL FASTENERS IF PROPOSED WALL IS GOING TO BE
 WOOD FRAMED WALL AS SHOWN ON TYPICAL WALL SECTION. SEC.
 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R301 AND SEC. R601.2 OF 2004
 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 3- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 RULE 9B-72 FOR:
 A) WINDOW MULLIONS. AND, CLEARLY SPECIFY/MARK SPECIFIC
 MULLION SIZE AND FASTENERS TO BE USED TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE ARCHITECT'S CALCULATED DESIGN
 PRESSURES. SEC. R301 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 B) (1) EXTERIOR SWING DOOR. FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 SUBMITED FL539-R0 IS FOR 2001 CODE VERSION. NEED TO
 PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR 2004 CODE VERSION.
 (2) ALSO, NEED TO PROVIDE THE DRAWINGS THAT WERE
 SUBMITTED TO OBTAIN THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL. NONE
 WERE SUBMITTED AT THIS TIME.
 NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT PRODUCT APPROVAL IS NOT
 EXPIRED TO AVOID UNNECESSARY DELAYS.
  
 C) STORM SHUTTERS IF EXTERIOR DOOR HAS ANY GLAZING AND
 IS NOT IMPACT RESISTANT. ALSO, PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE AS REQUIRED BY CITY
 IMPLEMENTATION STANDARD FOR WIND-BORNE DEBRIS IMPACT
 PROTECTION. SEE ATTACHED SAMPLE.
  
 D) SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS. NEED TO PROVIDE COPY
 OF THE PAGE SHOWING THE MSTA9 AND H4 CONNECTORS.
 SUBMITT ONLY THE PAGE SHOWING THE CONNECTORS. THERE IS
 NOT NEED TO SUBMIT COPY OF THE ENTIRE STRUCTURAL
 CONNECTORS REPORT.
  
 E) SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS. FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 FL11120 IS FOR 2007 CODE VERSION AND IS PENDING
 APPROVAL.
 NOTE: NOA 07-0717.05 ALONE MAY BE SUBMITTED ALONE TO BE
 INCLUDED IN THE CITY'S LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL LIBRARY.
  
 4- ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.3.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 5- VALUE DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO LOW.
 UPDATE VALUE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 108.3 CITY AMENDMENTS
 TO FBC 2004. INCLUDE ARCHITECT'S FEES AND TOTAL VALUE
 TO INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
  
 6- TYPICAL WALL SECTION: REVISE INSULATION FOR 2X4
 FRAMED WALL. SEE ENERGY CALCULATIONS FOR MINIMUM
 R-VALUE TO BE INSTALLED ON 2X4 WALL.. R-9 DOESN'T
 COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 7- A) REVISE FASTENING REQUIREMENTS NOTE FOR STRUCTURAL
 WINDOW AND DOOR BUCKS. BEVELED BUCKS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
 WINDOW AND DOOR FRAMES NEED TO HAVE FULL SUPPORT. SEE
 SEC. R613.6 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE AND REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) REVISE FASTENING REQUIREMENTS NOTE: 2X4 STRUCTURAL
 BUCK FOR DOOR IS NOT ADEQUATE TO PROVIDE FULL SUPPORT
 OF DOOR FRAME. SEE SEC. R613.6 AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 8- ENERGY CALCULATIONS:
 A) COMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM, INCLUDING THE
 NAME OF THE BUILDER.
  
 B) CLIMATE ZONE IS NOT 9. SEE SEC. APPENDIX 13-A OF
 CHAPTER 13 OF FBC 2004 AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 C) IF NEW WALL IS GOING TO BE PARTIAL CONCRETE BLOCK
 AND PARTIAL 2X4 FRAMED WALL, THEN NEED TO SPECIFY THE
 R-VALUE AND SQUARE FOOTAGE ACCORDINGLY. ALSO, REVISE
 SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR CONCRETE BLOCK WALL.
  
 D) SPECIFY THE R-VALUE FOR CONCRETE SLAB. IT WAS LEFT
 BLANK.
  
 E) COMPLETE INFORMATION ON SECOND PAGE FOR 2X4 FRAMED
 WALL IF NEW WALL IS PARTIAL CONCRETE BLOCK AND PARTIAL
