 COMMENT FROM FIRST LIST:
  
 1. SEE OPENING 9 AND PAGE 8 OF THE PRODUCT APPROVAL.
 SPANS OVER 6', HOLLOW BLOCK SUBSTRATE, REQURE 9" ANCHOR
 SPACING (12" SPECIFIED). CHECK ALL.
  
 THE CONTRACTOR RESPONDED WITH A LETTER:
  
 "OPENING #9 IS AN 8080 SGD WITH A 4+-INCH RISER.
 DIAGRAM 1 WALL HEADER IS BEING ATTACHED TO THE FACE OF
 THE RISER, WITH C2 CONNECTION TYPE INTO THE CONCRETE
 FLOOR SLAB. HENCE, PAGE 8 TABLES INDICATE 12" ANCHOR
 SPACING FOR SPANS UP TO 8'8"."
  
 SEE THE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. FOR OPENING 9, IT STATES
 "MASONRY/CONCRETE" AS SUBSTRATE. I UNDERSTAND THIS TO
 MEAN THAT IT IS MASONRY ON THE TOP, CONCRETE ON THE
 BOTTOM.
  
 I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE "DIAGRAM 1" ON THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL.
  
 SEE PAGE 8 OF THE PRODUCT APPROVAL. 12" IS SPECIFIED
 FOR C2, CONCRETE SUBSTRATE, 8'8 SPAN, AND ALSO FOR
 HOLLOW CONCRETE BLOCK, SPAN UP TO 6' (CIRCLED ON THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL). HOWEVER, BASED ON THE INFORMATION
 PROVIDED ON THE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE, THIS IS HOLLOW
 BLOCK, SPAN OF 8'4". THIS REQUIRES ANCHOR SPACING OF
 9". PLEASE CHECK ALL.
  
 ALSO PLEASE CHECK SPANS. C2 CONNECTION TYPICALLY ADDS 1
 1/2" TO TOP AND BOTTOM OF OPENING WHEN THERE IS A 3"
 EDGE DISTANCE. THEREFORE, THIS A 99" OPENING SHOULD
 HAVE A SPAN OF A MINIMUM OF 102". THE DIFFERENCE OF 2"
 DOES NOT AFFECT THIS OPENING, BUT PLEASE CHECK ALL
 OPENINGS OR CLARIFY WHY A WALL MOUNT CONNECTION RESULTS
 IN A SPAN 1" LARGER THAN THE OPENING SIZE, 3" EDGE
 DISTANCE.
