 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WILL
 BE REQUIRED.
  
 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. PHONE (561)

 3) THE DECLARED VALUE OF THE WORK IS TOO LOW. THE VALUE
 IS REQUIRED TO REFLECT THE COSTS OF LABOR, MATERIALS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT THAT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO CONVERT
 THE GARAGE TO AN OFFICE. INCLUDING ALL OF THE
 UN-PERMITTED WORK. PLEASE REVISE. FBC 108.3* CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 4) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF ENERGY CALCULATION FORMS AS
 REQUIRED BY FBC 13-600. THE OWNER/AGENT IS REQUIRED TO
 SIGN THE FORMS.
  
 5) SPECIFY THE INSULATION R-VALUES FOR THE WALL AND
 CEILING INSULATION. SEE FBC 13-600.
  
 6) THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE SPECIFIED ON SHEET SP-1 IS
 INCOMPLETE. SPECIFY CONSTRUCTION TYPE VA FOR ONE HOUR
 PROTECTED OR TYPE VB FOR UNPROTECTED. SEE FBC TABLE
 601.
  
 7) THE DOOR TO BATHROOM IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A 29" CLEAR
 OPENING PER FBC EXISTING BUILDING SECTION 812.5 AND FBC
 11-4.22.2.
  
 8) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR EACH TYPE
 OF EXTERIOR DOOR AND STORM PANELS. SPECIFY THE MOUNT
 TYPE, FASTENER TYPE AND SPACING, EDGE DISTANCE, SPANS,
 ETC. FOR THE STORM PANELS.
  
 9) FBC 106.3* CITY AMENDMENTS PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE
 PRODUCT WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 10) THE CLASSIFICATION OF WORK ON SHEET SP-1 IS
 INCORRECT. THIS IS CONSIDERED A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY NOT
 A LEVEL 2 ALTERATION. SEE 2004 FBC EXISTING BUILDING
 CHAPTER 3.
