 NO REFERENCE TO EXTERIOR WALLS OTHER THAN STUCCO.
 PLEASE REVISE TO CLARIFY SCOPE FBC*106.
  
 2.BUILDING TYPE IIA IS DECLARED ON THE PLAN IN ONE
 PLACE ON SHEET A1, BUT CODE INFORMATION STATES THIS IS
 3B; SEE FBC*106, FBC CHAPTER 5.THE DESIGNER SHOULD
 DECLARE MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE REQUIRED BY CODE; THIS IS
 R3 OCCUPANCY SO IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY IIA (NON
 COMBUSTIBLE AND FIRE RESISTANCE RATED STRUCTURAL
 ELEMENTS) AND IIIB HAVE BOTH BEEN DECLARED.DETAILS ON
 THE PLAN SUCH AS 1-A1 SHOW USE OF COMBUSTIBLES.
  
 3.A CHANGE TO THE SCOPE OF WORK IS A REVISION, NOT A
 SUBMITTAL.FEES DUE.FAILURE TO PAY FEES AT TIME OF
 SUBMITTAL MAY RESULT IN DELAYS AS REVIEWS ARE NOT TO BE

 EXISTING OVER 30# . . . "; IT IS NOT CLEAR IF THE
 SHINGLES ARE EXISTING, OR A REPAIR, OR NEW.IF THIS IS
 A REPAIR, HOW MUCH WILL BE REPAIRED, FBC EB 511.
 CLARIFY SCOPE OF WORK FBC*106.
  
 10. THE FLOOR JOISTS FOR THIS HOUSE ARE 2X6S, BUT THE
 PLAN SHOWS 2X4S.THE ENGINEER IS TO CONFIRM THAT ALL
 INFORMATION ON THE PLAN IS CORRECT.IT DOES NOT APPEAR
 THAT 2X4 FLOOR JOISTS MEET THE DEAD LOAD, LIVE LOAD,
 AND DEFLECTION REQUIREMENTS.
  
 11.FOR THE PROPOSED 2X4 FLOOR JOISTS IN THE REPAIR
 AREA, PROVIDE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH DEAD
 LOADS, LIVE LOADS, AND DEFLECTION.SEE FBC
 R502.2.2(1).
  
 12.SPECIFY SPECIES OF LUMBER.
  
 13.THE FLOOR JOIST REPAIR AREA STATES "FIELD VERIFY
 ATTACHMENT AND REDO IF POSSIBLE."WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
 YOU ARE INSTALLING NEW FLOOR JOISTS; ATTACHMENT IS NOT
 OPTIONAL.
  
 14.THE PROPOSED 2X4 FLOOR JOISTS ARE SUPPORTING A
 BEARING WALL.PROVIDE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW THAT THE
 2X4S ARE STRUCTURALLY ADEQUATE, FBC R301, FBC EB707.2.
  
 15.AN INTERIOR WALL DETAIL WAS PROVIDED; IS THIS THE
 DETAIL FOR THE BEARING WALL?REPAIR AREA INCLUDES A
 PORTION OF THE BEARING WALL.
  
 16.THE REPAIR AREA INCLUDES AN OPENING (A DOOR) IN
 THE BEARING WALL.PROVIDE A STRUCTURAL DETAIL.
