 1.FBC1503.1, FLASHING TO BE INSTALLED TO PREVENT
 MOISTURE ENTERING THE WALL AND ROOF.THE THROUGH WALL
 FLASHING DETAIL DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THIS CODE SECTION.
 FROM THE INFORMATION PROVIDED, WATER APPEARS TO BE
 ENTERING THE BUILDING AND THE ROOFING CONTRACTOR IS
 MAKING AN ATTEMPT TO DIVERT THE WATER FROM THE INSIDE
 OF THE WALL TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING.THIS
 SHOULD BE ACCOMPLISHED BY STOPPING THE WATER AT THE
 SOURCE(S) OF THE WATER INTRUSION, NOT AFTER IT HAS
 ENTERED A WOOD FRAME NON PT WALL WHICH WAS NEVER
 DESIGNED FOR WATER.OTHER COMMENTS RELATED TO
 DESIGN/PLANS OF THIS THROUGH WALL DETAIL DO NOT NEED TO
 BE ADDRESSED UNLESS CONTRACTOR FOLLOWS THE PROCESS TO
 GET THIS DETAIL APPROVED BY OTHERS.THIS HAS ALREADY
 BEEN REVIEWED AND DENIED BY THE PLANS EXAMINER AND
 ROBERT BROWN, LICENSE & PERMIT SERVICES MANAGER/ABO.
  
 2.FBC1503.3, CONTRACTOR SUBMITTED A DETAIL WHICH
 STATES THAT THE METAL IS OPTIONAL.HOWEVER, THE DETAIL
 DOES NOT SHOW WATERPROOFING MATERIAL THE FULL WIDTH OF
 THE PARAPET WALL.PLEASE INCLUDE A DETAIL WHICH
 COMPLIES WITH THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 3.THE DETAIL IS NOT DEPICTED GRAPHICALLY IN A
 STANDARDIZED MANNER.IT APPEARS THAT THE
 "CROSS-SECTION" IS A COMBINATION OF A PERSPECTIVE AND A
 PLAN.PLEASE SEE FBC*106, ARCHITECTURAL QUALITY PLANS
 REQUIRED.
  
 4.THE SCOPE OF PROPOSED WORK IS NOT CLEAR.IT SHOWS
 ONE SECTION OF WALL, TWO STUDS.DOES THIS MEAN THAT
 YOU PROPOSE THIS INSTALLATION AT ONE LOCATION OR
 MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?PROVIDE AN OVERALL ROOF PLAN
 SHOWING LOCATION(S) OF DETAIL.
  
 5.IT IS NOT CLEAR HOW THE FLASHING AGAINST THE
 INTERIOR WALL WILL BE (OR WAS) ACCOMPLISHED.HOW CAN
 THE TOP OF THE FLASHING BE WATERPROOFED TO PREVENT
 WATER FROM GOING BEHIND THE FLASHING?WOULDN'T THIS
 REQUIRE REMOVAL OF THE EXTERIOR WALL SHEATHING AND
 STUCCO TO GET PROPER ACCESS TO THE TOP OF THE FLASHING?
 THIS WOULD BE BEYOND THE SCOPE OF A ROOFING
 CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE.
