 1) A NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED. FS

 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 3) UPDATE THE APPLICABLE CODE ON SHEET C1 TO THE 2004
 FBC WITH 2007 REVISIONS.
  
 4) THE FIRM LICENSE NUMBER OR THE CERTIFICATE OF
 AUTHORIZATION NUMBER FOR THE GARRISON DESIGN GROUP IS
 REQUIRED IN THE TITLE BLOCK OF THE PLANS. SEE FAC
 61G1-16.004 OR 61G15-23.002.
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS. EXTERIOR
 WALLS SEPARATED BY LESS THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM) SHALL
 HAVE NOT LESS THAN A ONE-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE RATING
 WITH EXPOSURE FROM BOTH SIDES. PROJECTIONS SHALL NOT
 EXTEND TO A POINT CLOSER THAN 4 FEET (1220 MM) FROM AN
 ADJACENT PROJECTION OR WALL.
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R302.2 OPENINGS.
 OPENINGS SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE EXTERIOR WALL OF
 A DWELLING OR ACCESSORY BUILDING THAT IS SEPARATED FROM
 AN ADJACENT BUILDING BY A DISTANCE OF LESS THAN 6 FEET
 (1828 MM). THIS DISTANCE SHALL BE MEASURED
 PERPENDICULAR TO THE LINE USED TO DETERMINE THE
 SEPARATION DISTANCE.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS AT THE MAIN
 HOUSE.
 IN BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING OR ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION, AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO ATTIC AREAS THAT EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M 2 )
 AND HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR
 GREATER.
 THE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 22
 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762 MM) AND SHALL BE
 LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY ACCESSIBLE
 LOCATION. A 30-INCH (762 MM) MINIMUM UNOBSTRUCTED
 HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE PROVIDED AT SOME
 POINT ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING. SEE SECTION M1305.1.3
 FOR ACCESS REQUIREMENTS WHERE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS
 LOCATED IN ATTICS.
  
 8) THE ROOM OFF THE BATHROOM IN THE GUEST HOUSE DOES
 NOT COMPLY WITH R310.1 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE
 REQUIRED.
 BASEMENTS WITH HABITABLE SPACE AND EVERY SLEEPING ROOM
 SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE OPENABLE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENING. WHERE BASEMENTS CONTAIN ONE OR MORE
 SLEEPING ROOMS, EMERGENCY EGRESS AND RESCUE OPENINGS
 SHALL BE REQUIRED IN EACH SLEEPING ROOM, BUT SHALL NOT
 BE REQUIRED IN ADJOINING AREAS OF THE BASEMENT. WHERE
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS ARE PROVIDED THEY
 SHALL HAVE A SILL HEIGHT OF NOT MORE THAN 44 INCHES
 (1118 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR. WHERE A DOOR OPENING HAVING
 A THRESHOLD BELOW THE ADJACENT GROUND ELEVATION SERVES
 AS AN EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING AND IS
 PROVIDED WITH A BULKHEAD ENCLOSURE, THE BULKHEAD
 ENCLOSURE SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 310.3 . THE NET
 CLEAR OPENING DIMENSIONS REQUIRED BY THIS SECTION SHALL
 BE OBTAINED BY THE NORMAL OPERATION OF THE EMERGENCY
 ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING FROM THE INSIDE. EMERGENCY
 ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS WITH A FINISHED SILL HEIGHT
 BELOW THE ADJACENT GROUND ELEVATION SHALL BE PROVIDED
 WITH A WINDOW WELL IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION R310.2 .
 THE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO OPEN INTO A SCREEN ENCLOSURE, OPEN TO THE
 ATMOSPHERE, WHERE A SCREEN DOOR IS PROVIDED LEADING
 AWAY FROM THE RESIDENCE. PROVIDE AN APPROPRIATE OPENING
 OR SPECIFY ON THE PLAN THAT THIS ROOM IS NOT TO BE USED
 FOR SLEEPING PURPOSES.
  
 9) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS AT THE

 CEILINGS ARE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THE UNDERSIDE OF ROOF
 RAFTERS SHALL HAVE CROSS VENTILATION FOR EACH SEPARATE
 SPACE BY VENTILATING OPENINGS PROTECTED AGAINST THE
 ENTRANCE OF RAIN. VENTILATING OPENINGS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH CORROSION-RESISTANT WIRE MESH, WIT H 1 /
 8 INCH (3.2 MM) MINIMUM TO 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM
 OPENINGS.
  
 11) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R319.1 LOCATION REQUIRED. IN
 AREAS SUBJECT TO DECAY DAMAGE AS ESTABLISHED BY TABLE
 R301.2(1) , THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS SHALL REQUIRE THE
 USE OF AN APPROVED SPECIES AND GRADE OF LUMBER,
 PRESSURE TREATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AWPA C1, C2, C3,
 C4, C9, C15, C18, C22, C23, C24, C28, C31, C33, P1, P2
 AND P3, OR DECAY-RESISTANT HEARTWOOD OF REDWOOD, BLACK
 LOCUST, OR CEDARS. 5.WOOD SIDING, SHEATHING AND WALL
 FRAMING ON THE EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING HAVING A
 CLEARANCE OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM) FROM THE
 GROUND.
  
 12) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 704 INSPECTION FOR
 TERMITES. IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION FOR
 TERMITE INFESTATION, CLEARANCE BETWEEN EXTERIOR WALL
 COVERINGS AND FINAL EARTH GRADE ON THE EXTERIOR OF A
 BUILDING SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM). SEE
 A2.0 AND A5.1.
  
 13) ON SHEET A4.1 IN THE CONNECTOR SCHEDULE THE SIMPSON
 LGT-2 REQUIRES 16-16D SINKERS INTO THE TWO MEMBER
 GIRDER PER THE SIMPSON CATALOG, NOT 1-1/2". PLEASE
 CORRECT. FBC 106.1.1* CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 14) THE SIMPSON HGAM 10 SPECIFIED IN THE CONNECTOR
 SCHEDULE IS TESTED AND LISTED FOR MASONRY APPLICATIONS
 NOT AS A WOOD CONNECTOR. PLEASE REVISE. FBC 106.1.1*
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 15) THE ROOF SLOPE IS SPECIFIED AS 5:12 ON A3.1 AND AS
 4:12 ON A4.1 AND A5.0. PLEASE CORRECT. FBC 106.1.1*
