 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS. EXTERIOR
 WALLS SEPARATED BY LESS THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM) SHALL
 HAVE NOT LESS THAN A ONE-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE RATING
 WITH EXPOSURE FROM BOTH SIDES. PROJECTIONS SHALL NOT
 EXTEND TO A POINT CLOSER THAN 4 FEET (1220 MM) FROM AN
 ADJACENT PROJECTION OR WALL. PROJECTIONS EXTENDING INTO
 THE 6-FOOT (1829 MM) SEPARATION DISTANCE SHALL HAVE NOT
 LESS THAN 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE CONSTRUCTION ON THE
 UNDERSIDE. THE ABOVE PROVISIONS SHALL NOT APPLY TO
 WALLS WHICH ARE PERPENDICULAR TO A LINE EXTENDING FROM
 THE POINT FROM WHICH THE SEPARATION DISTANCE HAS BEEN
 MEASURED RUNNING AND PARALLEL TO THE PROPERTY LINE. THE
 DISTANCE TO THE PROPERTY LINE AT THE SIDE AND REAR IS 5
 FEET. SHOW DISTANCE TO STRUCTURES ON ADJACENT
 PROPERTIES AT THESE LOCATIONS.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R302.2 OPENINGS.
 OPENINGS SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE EXTERIOR WALL OF
 A DWELLING OR ACCESSORY BUILDING THAT IS SEPARATED FROM
 AN ADJACENT BUILDING BY A DISTANCE OF LESS THAN 6 FEET
 (1828 MM). THIS DISTANCE SHALL BE MEASURED
 PERPENDICULAR TO THE LINE USED TO DETERMINE THE
 SEPARATION DISTANCE.
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R309.2 SEPARATION REQUIRED. THE
 GARAGE SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE RESIDENCE AND ITS
 ATTIC AREA BY NOT LESS THAN ? -INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM
 BOARD APPLIED TO THE GARAGE SIDE. GARAGES BENEATH
 HABITABLE ROOMS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM ALL HABITABLE
 ROOMS ABOVE BY NOT LESS THAN 5 / 8 -INCH (15.9 MM) TYPE
 X GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT. WHERE THE SEPARATION IS A
 FLOOR-CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE SUPPORTING THE
 SEPARATION SHALL ALSO BE PROTECTED BY NOT LESS THAN
 1/2-INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.
  
 6) SPECIFY HOW TERMITE PROTECTION WILL BE PROVIDED. SEE
 FBC R320.1.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R311.5.3.2 TREAD DEPTH. WINDER
 TREADS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM TREAD DEPTH OF 10 INCHES
 (254 MM) MEASURED AS ABOVE AT A POINT 12 INCHES (305)
 MM FROM THE SIDE WHERE THE TREADS ARE NARROWER.WINDER
 TREADS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM TREAD DEPTH OF 6 INCHES
 (152 MM) AT ANY POINT.WITHIN ANY FLIGHT OF STAIRS, THE
 GREATEST WINDER TREAD DEPTH AT THE 12 INCH (305 MM)
 WALK LINE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SMALLEST BY MORE THAN 3
 / 8 INCH (9.5 MM).
  
 8) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED FOOTING SIZE FOR THE EXISTING
 FOOTINGS, IN ORDER TO ADEQUATELY SUPPORT THE SECOND

 9) DURING THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT THE CONTRACTOR WILL
 BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM INVESTIGATIVE WORK TO DETERMINE

 BE FASTENED TO ROOF FRAMING WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT
 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT EDGES AND 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT
 INTERMEDIATE FRAMING. SPACING OF RING-SHANK FASTENERS
 SHALL BE 4 INCHES ON CENTER IN NAILING ZONE 3 FOR 130
 MPH OR GREATER DESIGN WIND SPEEDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FIGURE R803.2.3.1.
  
 15) PROVIDE A DETAIL OF THE FRAMING AT THE WINDOW
 OPENINGS. SPECIFY THE HEADER SIZE, CONNECTORS, ETC. FBC

 THOSE PRODUCT WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72
 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 18) SPECIFY WHICH ONE OF THE APPROVED ASSEMBLIES LISTED
 IN THE POLYGLASS MODIFIED BITUMEN ROOFING SYSTEM
 PRODUCT APPROVAL WILL BE INSTALLED. SPECIFY THE
 FASTENING OPTION AND DESIGN PRESSURE THAT WILL BE USED.
 SUBMIT SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR
 ENHANCED FASTENING FROM A FLORIDA LICENSED ARCHITECT,
 ENGINEER OR REGISTERED ROOF CONSULTANT AS REQUIRED BY
 LIMITATION #7 OF THE PRODUCT APPROVAL.
