 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) THE WALL OF THE ADDITION IS LESS THAN 6 FEET FROM
 THE PROPERTY LINE.
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS AND R302.2
 OPENINGS.
 R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS. EXTERIOR WALLS SEPARATED BY LESS
 THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM) SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN A
 ONE-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE RATING WITH EXPOSURE FROM BOTH
 SIDES. PROJECTIONS SHALL NOT EXTEND TO A POINT CLOSER
 THAN 4 FEET (1220 MM) FROM AN ADJACENT PROJECTION OR
 WALL. PROJECTIONS EXTENDING INTO THE 6-FOOT (1829 MM)
 SEPARATION DISTANCE SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN 1-HOUR
 FIRE-RESISTIVE CONSTRUCTION ON THE UNDERSIDE. THE ABOVE
 PROVISIONS SHALL NOT APPLY TO WALLS WHICH ARE
 PERPENDICULAR TO A LINE EXTENDING FROM THE POINT FROM
 WHICH THE SEPARATION DISTANCE HAS BEEN MEASURED RUNNING
 AND PARALLEL TO THE PROPERTY LINE.
 R302.2 OPENINGS. OPENINGS SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE
 EXTERIOR WALL OF A DWELLING OR ACCESSORY BUILDING THAT
 IS SEPARATED FROM AN ADJACENT BUILDING BY A DISTANCE OF
 LESS THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM). THIS DISTANCE SHALL BE
 MEASURED PERPENDICULAR TO THE LINE USED TO DETERMINE
 THE SEPARATION DISTANCE. NOTE: IF THE WALLS OF THE
 STRUCTURES ON THE ADJACENT PROPERTY ARE MORE THAN SIX
 FEET FROM THE WALLS OF THE ADDITION, THIS CAN BE SHOWN
 ON THE SURVEY/ SITE PLAN.
  
 3) THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED ADJACENT TO A GOLF COURSE
 AND HAS TYPE C TERRAIN FOR A DISTANCE OF 600 FEET.
 THEREFORE, THIS STRUCTURE IS EXPOSURE CATEGORY C.
 PLEASE REVISE DESIGN PARAMETERS AND COMPONENT AND
 CLADDING PRESSURES ACCORDINGLY. SEE FBCR301.2.1.4
 EXPOSURE CATEGORY. 3. EXPOSURE C. OPEN TERRAIN WITH
 SCATTERED OBSTRUCTIONS, INCLUDING SURFACE UNDULATIONS
 OR OTHER IRREGULARITIES, HAVING HEIGHTS GENERALLY LESS
 THAN 30 FEET (9144 MM) EXTENDING MORE THAN 1,500 FEET
 (457.2 M) FROM THE BUILDING SITE IN ANY QUADRANT. THIS
 EXPOSURE SHALL ALSO APPLY TO ANY BUILDING LOCATED
 WITHIN EXPOSURE B-TYPE TERRAIN WHERE THE BUILDING IS
 DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO OPEN AREAS OF EXPOSURE C-TYPE
 TERRAIN IN ANY QUADRANT FOR A DISTANCE OF MORE THAN 600
 FEET (182.9 M).
  
 4) THE OWNER/AGENT IS REQUIRED TO SIGN THE ENERGY
 CALCULATION FORM. THE FORM DOES NOT LIST THE INSULATION
 IN THE WOOD FRAME WALL ADJACENT TO THE GARAGE. PLEASE
 CORRECT. SEE FBC 13-600.
  
 5) THE MINIMUM R-VALUE ALLOWED BY THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY
 CODE PRESCRIPTIVE METHOD C FOR CONCRETE BLOCK WALLS IS
 R-5. PLEASE REVISE THE WALL SECTION ON SHEET A-1. SEE
 TABLE 6C-1 ON FORM 600C-04R.
  
 6) PROVIDE A BUCK DETAIL ON THE PLANS FOR THE OVERHEAD
 GARAGE DOOR. FBC 106.1.1* CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS.
 IN BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING OR ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION, AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO ATTIC AREAS THAT EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M 2 )
 AND HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR
 GREATER.
 THE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 22
 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762 MM) AND SHALL BE
 LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY ACCESSIBLE
 LOCATION. A 30-INCH (762 MM) MINIMUM UNOBSTRUCTED
 HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE PROVIDED AT SOME
 POINT ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING.
  
 8) ROOF SHEATHING IS REQUIRED TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION R803.2.3.1 OF 2006 REVISIONS TO 2004 FBC
 RESIDENTIAL CODE. WOOD STRUCTURAL PANEL SHEATHING SHALL
 BE FASTENED TO ROOF FRAMING WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT
 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT EDGES AND 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT
 INTERMEDIATE FRAMING. SPACING OF RING-SHANK FASTENERS
 SHALL BE 4 INCHES ON CENTER IN NAILING ZONE 3 FOR 130
 MPH OR GREATER DESIGN WIND SPEEDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FIGURE R803.2.3.1. PLEASE REVISE NOTES ON PLANS TO
 SPECIFY RING SHANK NAILS.
  
 9)FBC 106.3* CITY AMENDMENTS PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE
 PRODUCT WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 HAVE THE PRODUCT APPROVALS REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN
 WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 10) SUBMIT TWO PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE STRUCTURAL
 MULLIONS THAT WILL BE USED TO CONNECT TRANSOM WINDOWS
 TO DOORS. FAC RULE 9B-72.
  
 11) SUBMIT TWO CURRENT NOAS FOR THE GLASS BLOCK. THE
 ONES THAT WERE SUBMITTED ARE EXPIRED. FAC RULE 9B-72.
  
 12) SUBMIT A KEY PLAN AND INSTALLATION SCHEDULE FOR THE
 STORM PANELS. SEE ATTACHED. SPECIFY THE TYPE OF MOUNT,
 THE FASTENERS, FASTENER SPACING, EDGE DISTANCE, SPANS,
 ETC.
  
 13) SPECIFY THE ATTACHMENT METHOD THAT WILL BE USED TO
 INSTALL THE CLAY ROOF TILES. CIRCLE THE APPROPRIATE
 ITEM ON THE NOA.FBC 106.1.1* CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 14) SPECIFY THE APPROVED ASSEMBLY AND FASTENING OPTION
 THAT WILL BE USED TO INSTALL THE GAF MODIFIED ROOFING.
 CIRCLE THE APPROPRIATE ITEM ON THE NOA. PROVIDE RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS FOR ENHANCED FASTENING FOR PERIMETER AND
 CORNER AREAS.
  
 15) THE VALUE OF THE WORK HAS BEEN ADJUSTED BASED ON
 THE LATEST ICC BUILDING VALUATION DATA. ADDITIONAL FEES
