 FBC CH.1 AS AMENDED BY THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH
  
 1. H2.1.1: ROOM 108 IS SHOWN TO HAVE TYPE P25 WALLS,
 WHICH GO FROM FLOOR TO DECK (SEE A2.1.1). THERE IS NO
 MEANS SHOWN ON PLANS FOR RETURN AIR FROM THIS SPACE.
 SHOW HOW BALANCED RETURN IS TO BE ACHIEVED IN THIS AREA
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC, M 601.4.
  
 2. H2.1.1: EF 1-3 AND EF 1-5 ARE BOTH LOCATED IN A
 RETURN AIR PLENUM CEILING. THE DISCHARGE DUCT FROM
 THESE FANS WILL BE UNDER POSITIVE PRESSURE. EXHAUST
 DUCTS UNDER POSITIVE PRESSURE SHALL NOT BE LOCATED IN A
 PLENUM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC, M 601.3. SHOW HOW THESE
 AREAS ARE TO BE EXHAUSTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS
 SECTION.
 NOTE: EF 1-1 AND EF 1-2 ARE ISOLATED FROM PLENUM AS
 BATHROOM WALLS ARE TYPE P25, WHICH GO FROM FLOOR TO
 DECK. THEREFORE THEY ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THIS COMMENT.
  
 3. H2.1.1: HP 1-7, UNIT IS LOCATED TO PROVIDE SERVICE
 CLEARANCE FROM WALL AT TELLER STORAGE 120. HOWEVER,
 THIS PLACES THE UNIT ABOVE THE P25 FLOOR TO DECK TYPE
 WALL AT STORAGE ROOM 117. HOW WILL THIS UNIT BE
 SERVICEABLE OR ABLE TO BE REMOVED IF IT IS EMBEDDED IN
 A FRAMED WALL? PLEASE SHOW ACCESS FOR SERVICE AND
 REPLACEMENT WHICH IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC, M 306.1.
 THIS CONDITION WOULD ALSO BE IN CONFLICT WITH HVAC NOTE
 #1.
  
 4. H2.1.1: EF 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-5 ARE SHOWN DISCHARGING
 THROUGH A NORTH WALL TO AN AREA MARKED AS "EXISTING."
 ACCORDING TO BASE BUILDING PLANS, THIS AREA IS PART OF
 THE ENCLOSED PARKING GARAGE. FIRE RESISTANCE RATED
 SEPARATION IS REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC TABLE
 302.3.2. SHOW HOW THESE OPENINGS ARE TO BE PROTECTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBC, M 607.5. ALSO, FANS ARE
 DISCHARGING INTO AN ENCLOSED PARKING GARAGE. THIS DOES
 NOT QUALIFY AS OUTDOORS. THE AIR REMOVED BY EVERY
 MECHANICAL EXHAUST SYSTEM SHALL BE DISCHARGED OUTDOORS
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC, M 501.2.
  
 5. H2.1.1 AND H6.1.3:HP 1-1 THROUGH HP 1-6 SHARE A
 COMMON RETURN AIR PLENUM. AS SUCH, THEY ARE REQUIRED TO
 HAVE FAN SHUT-DOWN BY SMOKE DETECTOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FBC, M 606.2.2 AND 606.4. IF DUCT SMOKE DETECTORS ARE
 USED, THEY SHALL BE TIED INTO THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM
 SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC, M 606.4.1.
  
 6. H6.1.3: CONTROL SEQUENCES, THE OUTSIDE AIR DAMPERS
 (MOTORIZED) ARE SHOWN TO BE OPEN WHENEVER THE HEAT PUMP
 FANS ARE RUNNING. THESE DAMPERS ARE TO BE SHUT WHENEVER
 THE SPACES SERVED ARE NOT IN USE AND SHALL BE
 CONTROLLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SHUTOFF DAMPER
 CONTROL REQUIREMENTS OF FBC 13-409.1.ABC.3.3.
  
 7. H6.1.3: EACH WATER LOOP HEAT PUMP SHALL HAVE A
 TWO-POSITION AUTOMATIC VALVE INTERLOCKED TO SHUT OFF
 WATER FLOW WHEN THE COMPRESSOR IS OFF IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH FBC 13-411.1.ABC.1.4. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
 SECTION.
  
 8. H7.1.1: VENTILATION AIR CALCULATIONS, BASED ON THE
 SQUARE FOOTAGE OF DIFFERENT AREAS AS SHOWN ON PG
 A2.1.5, THE OCCUPANT LOADS USED FOR CALCULATIONS DO NOT
 CORRESPOND WITH THE OCCUPANT LOADS AS SHOWN ON TABLE
 403.3. EXAMPLE: THE LOBBY AREA ON PLANS IS SHOWN TO BE
 759SQ.FT. AT AN ESTIMATED OCCUPANT LOAD OF 60/1000,
 THIS SPACE WOULD HAVE AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 46 PEOPLE.
 THERE ARE ALSO NO CALCULATIONS FOR TELLER AREAS OR
 WORKROOMS. INCLUDE THESE SPACES IN THE OFFICE AREA
 TOTALS BASED ON THE SQUARE FOOTAGE SHOWN ON A2.1.5. THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD UTILIZED FOR DESIGN OF THE VENTILATION
 SYSTEM SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN THE NUMBER DETERMINED
 FROM THE ESTIMATED MAXIMUM OCCUPANT LOAD RATE INDICATED
 IN TABLE 403.3.
  
 9. H7.1.1: PROVIDE AN AIR BALANCE SCHEDULE SHOWING THE
 SPACE TO BE PRESSURIZED WITH RESPECT TO THE OUTDOORS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBC 13-409.1.ABC.2. THE CURRENT BALANCE
 OF EXHAUST AIR, RELIEF AIR AND OUTSIDE AIR WOULD PUT
 THE SPACE IN NEGATIVE PRESSURE.
  
 10. H7.1.2: PROVIDE COOLING LOAD CALCULATIONS OR A
 SYSTEM SIZING SUMMARY IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC
 13-407.1.ABC.1. HVAC SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE
 SIZED TO PROVIDE NO MORE THAN THE SPACE AND SYSTEM
 LOADS CALCULATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION PER
 FBC 13-407.1.ABC.1.1.
  
 11. A1.1.1: THIS PLAN SHOWS A VACUUM TUBE SYSTEM
 RUNNING THROUGH THIS TENANT SPACE AS WELL AS CROSSING
 OVER INTO A SEPARATE PARCEL. A SEPARATE PERMIT WITH
 FULL ENGINEERED DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS
 SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC 105.3.1(5). SUBMIT A
 SEPARATE APPLICATION, ASSOCIATED WITH THE PARCEL WHERE
 THE EQUIPMENT IS LOCATED, WITH ALL REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION AND MANUFACTURER'S SPECS FOR REVIEW IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION.
  
 12. AS THIS TENANT BUILD OUT IS TO TAKE PLACE IN A
 BUILDING WHICH HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED, AS A CONDITION
 OF PERMIT, THE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES DEPARTMENT IS
 REQUIRING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE BASE
 BUILDING CONTRACTOR, THE TENANT CONTRACTOR, AND THE
 BASE BUILDING DEVELOPER. THIS LETTER SHALL STATE THAT
 ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR
 THEIR WORK AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE WORK OF ONE
 CONTRACTOR HAS THE POTENTIAL TO IMPACT THE OTHER?S
 ABILITY TO OBTAIN FINAL INSPECTIONS. CODE DEFICIENCIES
 WILL NOT BE OVERLOOKED REGARDLESS OF WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
 FOR THE RELATED WORK.
