 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) THE SCOPE OF WORK ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION DOES NOT
 INDICATE WINDOW AND DOOR REPLACEMENT FOR THE MAIN HOUSE
 AND THE NOC SPECIFIES THE GARAGE/APARTMENT ONLY. PLEASE
 REMOVE THE WINDOW AND DOOR INFORMATION FOR THE MAIN
 HOUSE FROM THE SUBMITTAL.
  
 2)SPECIFY THE WINDOW TYPES AND SIZES ON THE PLANS.

 3) SPECIFY THE WIDTH OF THE STAIRWAY ON THE
 PLANS.R311.5.1 STAIRWAYS SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 36
 INCHES (914 MM) IN CLEAR WIDTH AT ALL POINTS ABOVE THE
 PERMITTED HANDRAIL HEIGHT AND BELOW THE REQUIRED
 HEADROOM HEIGHT. HANDRAILS SHALL NOT PROJECT MORE THAN
 4.5 INCHES (114 MM) ON EITHER SIDE OF THE STAIRWAY AND
 THE MINIMUM CLEAR WIDTH OF THE STAIRWAY AT AND BELOW
 THE HANDRAIL HEIGHT, INCLUDING TREADS AND LANDINGS,
 SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 31.5 INCHES (787 MM) WHERE A
 HANDRAIL IS INSTALLED ON ONE SIDE AND 27 INCHES (698
 MM) WHERE HANDRAILS ARE PROVIDED ON BOTH SIDES.
  
 4) R 311.5.3.2 REQUIRES TREADS AND RISERS TO BE
 PROPORTIONED SO THAT THE SUM OF TWO RISERS AND A TREAD,
 EXCLUSIVE OF THE NOSING IS NOT LESS THAN 24 INCHES NOR
 MORE THAN 25 INCHES. SHOW COMPLIANCE.
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R311.2.2 UNDER STAIR
 PROTECTION.
 ENCLOSED ACCESSIBLE SPACE UNDER STAIRS SHALL HAVE
 WALLS, UNDER STAIR SURFACE AND ANY SOFFITS PROTECTED ON
 THE ENCLOSED SIDE WITH1/2-INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM
 BOARD.
  
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R311.4.1 AND R311.4.2 WHICH
 REQUIRE A SIDE HINGED EXIT DOOR NOT LESS THAN 3 FEET
 WIDE AND PROVIDING DIRECT ACCESS TO THE EXTERIOR
 WITHOUT TRAVELING THROUGH THE UTILITY/GARAGE.
  
 7)PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS SPECIFYING HOW THE 2 X 8
 FLOOR TRUSSES WILL BE SISTERED. SPECIFY THE FASTENERS,
 SPACING, ETC.
  
 8) PROVIDE DETAILS AND SECTIONS SHOWING THE
 CONSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT OF FLOOR JOISTS AT THE NEW
 STAIRWAY. IF THE JOISTS ARE SUPPORTED BY A BEARING WALL
 BESIDE THE STAIRS SPECIFY THE FOUNDATION REQUIREMENTS.
 IF THE 3 MEMBER 2 X 8 BEAM IS CARRYING THE FLOOR LOAD
 SPECIFY THE CONNECTIONS AT THE EXTERIOR WALLS AND
 INDICATE HOW THE GRAVITY LOADS WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO
 THE FOUNDATION.
  
 9) SPECIFY THE 2 X 8 JOIST SPACING AND SPANS. PLEASE
 REVIEW FOR ALLOWABLE DEFLECTION. SEE TABLE R 301.7.
 NOTE: TABLE R 301.5 REQUIRES A LIVE LOAD OF 30 PSF FOR
 SLEEPING ROOMS AND 40 PSF FOR OTHER ROOMS AND STAIRS.
  
  
 10) THERE APPEARS TO BE A CONFLICT WITH THE PROPOSED
 FLOOR PLAN AND THE STAIR SECTION. THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS
 AN INTERIOR WALL BESIDE THE STAIRS AND THE STAIR
 SECTION SHOWS A WALL UNDER THE STAIR STRINGERS. PLEASE
 CLARIFY.
  
 11) WPB ADMIN CODE 106.3* PRODUCT
 APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCT WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
 FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 12) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR
 IS EXPIRED. SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF THE CURRENT PRODUCT
 APPROVALS. (NOA NO. 05-0915.08)
  
 13) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE STOREFRONT DOOR IS
 EXPIRED AND INCOMPLETE. THERE ARE NOT ANY STOREFRONT
 DOORS SHOWN ON THE PLANS. SUBMIT TWO CURRENT AND
 COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE SINGLE AND DOUBLE
 OUTSWING DOORS.
  
 14)SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF THE COMPLETE NOA, INCLUDING
 THE INSTALLATION DRAWINGS FOR THE SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS.
 ONLY THE FIRST PAGE OF THE NOA WAS SUBMITTED.
  
 15) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR LARGE MISSILE IMPACT
 RATED MULLIONS.
  
 16) R309.2 SEPARATION REQUIRED.
 THE GARAGE SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE RESIDENCE AND
 ITS ATTIC AREA BY NOT LESS THAN ? -INCH (12.7 MM)
 GYPSUM BOARD APPLIED TO THE GARAGE SIDE. GARAGES
 BENEATH HABITABLE ROOMS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM ALL
 HABITABLE ROOMS ABOVE BY NOT LESS THAN 5 / 8 -INCH
 (15.9 MM) TYPE X GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT. WHERE THE
 SEPARATION IS A FLOOR-CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE
 SUPPORTING THE SEPARATION SHALL ALSO BE PROTECTED BY
