 REVIEW DONE UNDER EXISTING BUILDING CODE 2004,FLORIDA
 RESIDENTIAL CODE 2004 AND FBC 2004 WITH 2007
 REVISIONS.
  
 1- PROVIDE RECORDED NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 713.13 FLORIDA STATUTE. (REPEAT COMMENT).
  
 2- TRUSS ANCHOR SCHEDULE:
 A) REVISE NUMBER OF NAILS SPECIFIED FOR CONNECTOR E.
 SEE SIMPSON CATALOG AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. (REPEAT
 COMMENT). OTHERWISE PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING
 ANALYSIS FOR NUMBER OF NAILS THAT DIFFER FROM THOSE
 TESTED AND PUBLISHED BY THE MANUFACTURER. SEC. 106.1.2
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004 IN REGARD TO SEC. 1609 FBC
 2004.
  
 B) SIMPSON CONNECTORS B AND C DON'T RESIST THE
 UPLIFT LOADS CALCULATED ON THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN ON
 SHEET 6. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 3- SHEET 9:
 A) REVISE TYPE OF NAIL SPECIFIED ON ROOF SHEATHING
 NAILING SCHEDULE.SEC. R803.2.3.1 OF 2004 FLORIDA
 RESIDENTIAL CODE REQUIRES 8D RING SHANK NAILS, NOT 8D
 NAILS. (REPEAT COMMENT).
  
 B) REVISE PLYWOOD NAILING DIAGRAM TO MATCH
 INFORMATION REQUESTED ON ITEM 3(A) ABOVE.
  
 4- REVISE SIZE OF HOLES AND ANCHORS SPECIFIED FOR
 COLUMN BASE STEEL PLATE ON DETAIL 1 ON SHEET 4AND
 DETAIL 3 ON SHEET 7 TO MATCH.ONE DETAIL CALLS FOR
 1/2" BOLTS AND THE OTHER CALLS FOR 5/8" BOLTS. REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 5- SPECIFY BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TYPE AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 602.1 FBC 2004. (REPEAT COMMENT).
  
 6- REVISE FINISH CEILING SPECIFICATIONS FOR PATIO.
 ROOF FRAMING NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED WHEN USING "GREEN
 BOARD". SEE ATTACHED COPY OF TECHNICAL INFORMATION FROM
 THE GYPSUM COMPANY. SEC. 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC
 2004.
  
 7- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 13-600.1.C.2 FBC 2004.
 ***NOTE: SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES NEW PATIO AND NEW ROOF
 OVER ENTIRE HOUSE THAT'S WHY ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE
 REQUIRED.
  
 8- ATTIC ACCESS IS SHOWN ON ROOF FRAMING PLAN, BUT
 SIZE IS NOT SPECIFIED.SPECIFY SIZE AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R807 OF 2004 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
