 REMODEL SFR AND CONVERT PORTION OF GARAGE TO CABANA
  
 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. CHANGE OF USE
 FROM GARAGE TO CABANA MAY REQUIRE PAYMENT IMPACT FEES
 TO PALM BEACH COUNTY.
  
 2) SPECIFY THE SCOPE OF WORK ON THE PLANS. SEE FBC
 *106.1.1 OF THE CITY OF WPB AMENDMENTS TO THE 2004
 FBC.
  
  
 3) SPECIFY THE APPLICABLE BUILDING CODES AND DESIGN
 DATA ON THE PLANS. SPECIFY WIND SPEED, EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY, IMPORTANCE FACTOR, COMPONENT AND CLADDING
 PRESSURES, ETC. SEE FBCR301.SPECIFY THE SCALE OF
 THE DRAWINGS ON THE PLANS PER FBC* 106.1.2.
  
 4) INDICATE ON THE PLANS THAT THE WINDOWS AND DOORS
 ARE BEING REPLACED. NOTE: THIS IS NOT INDICATED ON THE
 WORK DESCRIPTION ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION.
  
 5) SPECIFY THE SIZES OF THE WINDOWS AND DOORS ON THE
 PLANS.
  
 6) THE STRUCTURAL WORK ON THIS PROJECT AT THE
 CONVERSION OF THE EXISTING GARAGE TO COVERED PORCH AND
 CABANA EXCEEDS THE PRESCRIPTIVE LIMITATIONS OF THE
 CODE. THEREFORE, ENGINEERED DESIGN IS REQUIRED BY A
 FLORIDA LICENSED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL. SEE R301.1.3 AND
 FBC* 106.1.
  
 7) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED BEARING CAPACITY OF THE SOIL
 FOR THE DESIGN. SEE FBC* 106.1.2AND R 401.4.1.
  
 8) SPECIFY HOW THE NEW WALL, COLUMNS AND BEAM AT THE
 GARAGE WILL BE TIED INTO THE EXISTING WALL. FBC*
 106.1.2
  
 9) SPECIFY THE LIVE AND DEAD LOADS FOR THE FLOORS OF
 THE REMODELED BATHROOMS AND THE FLAT AND SLOPED ROOFS
 AT THE GARAGE.
  
 10) PROVIDE A FLOOR PLAN OF THE EXISTING HOUSE AND
 GARAGE. SHOW ALL EXISTING WALLS AND LABEL ALL ROOMS.
  
 11) NO HANDWRITING IS ALLOWED ON THE PLANS. ALL CHANGES
 TO THE PLANS ARE REQUIRED TO BE DATED AND INITIALED BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 12) THE NAME OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN
 IS REQUIRED ON EACH SHEET ALONG WITH THEIR SIGNATURE.

 13) PLEASE CLARIFY THE EXTENT OF STRUCTURAL WORK THAT
 IS BEING DONE IN THE EXISTING BATHROOMS.
  
 14) IN ORDER TO MAKE PLANS MORE CLEAR, INDICATE THE
 LOCATION OF THE SECTION DETAILS ON THE FLOOR PLANS,
 FOUNDATION PLANS OR ROOF PLANS WITH SECTION ID TAGS
 (FOR EXAMPLE 1ON A4.)LABEL THE SECTION DETAIL
 DRAWINGS WITH CORRESPONDING TAGS. FBC* 106.1.1
  
 15) SPECIFY HOW THE NEW BARREL TILEWILL BE ATTACHED
 TO THE OVERHANG. SEE TILE NOA FOR OPTIONS.
  
 16) SEE RED PENCIL NOTES ON THE PLANS REQUESTING
 MISSING INFORMATION SUCH AS SPACING OF STUDS AT NEW
 FRAME GARAGE WALL, EMBED DEPTH OF ANCHOR BOLTS, ETC.
  
 17)SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND LISTING
 INFORMATION FOR THE BBQ THAT WILL ALLOW IT TO BE USED
 UNDER A COMBUSTIBLE CEILING.
  
 18) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE ROOF COVERING
 MATERIALS, GLASS BLOCK, SIMPSON CONNECTORS AND EXTERIOR
 SWING PANEL DOOR AT THE GARAGE SHOWN ON A3.
  
 19)WPB ADMIN CODE 106.3* PRODUCT
 APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCT WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
 FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
