 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) ON THE FIRST FLOOR DEMOA PLAN THE PROPOSED GUEST
 ROOM APPEARS TO BE PART OF THE EXISTING GARAGE AND NOT
 LIVING SPACE. IF THIS AREA IS BEING COVERTED TO LIVING
 SPACE, THEN COUNTY IMPACTY FEES MAY BE DUE. PLEASE
 CLARIFY. IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,

 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R309.2 SEPARATION REQUIRED. THE
 GARAGE SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE RESIDENCE AND ITS
 ATTIC AREA BY NOT LESS THAN 1/2 -INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM
 BOARD APPLIED TO THE GARAGE SIDE. GARAGES BENEATH
 HABITABLE ROOMS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM ALL HABITABLE
 ROOMS ABOVE BY NOT LESS THAN 5 / 8 -INCH (15.9 MM) TYPE
 X GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT. WHERE THE SEPARATION IS A
 FLOOR-CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE SUPPORTING THE
 SEPARATION SHALL ALSO BE PROTECTED BY NOT LESS THAN
 1/2-INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.
  
 4) SUBMIT ENERGY CALCULATIONS FOR THE REMODELED
 CARRIAGE HOUSEAS REQUIRED BY FBC CHAPTER 13.
  
 5) THE PROPOSED STRUCTURE IS LESS THAN 6 FEET FROM THE
 PROPERTY LINE. SPECIFY ON THE SITE PLAN THAT THE
 DISTANCE TO ANY STRUCTURES ON THE ADJACENT LOT AT THIS
 LOCATION IS GREATER THAN 6 FEET. SEE FBC R302.
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R320 PROTECTION AGAINST
 TERMITES. SPECIFY WHAT METHOD OF TERMITE PROTECTION
 WILL BE USED.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R311.4.1 EXIT DOOR REQUIRED AND
 R311.4.2 DOOR TYPE AND SIZE.
 NOT LESS THAN ONE EXIT DOOR CONFORMING TO THIS SECTION
 SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH DWELLING UNIT. THE REQUIRED
 EXIT DOOR SHALL PROVIDE FOR DIRECT ACCESS FROM THE
 HABITABLE PORTIONS OF THE DWELLING TO THE EXTERIOR
 WITHOUT REQUIRING TRAVEL THROUGH A GARAGE. ACCESS TO
 HABITABLE LEVELS NOT HAVING AN EXIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THIS SECTION SHALL BE BY A RAMP IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION R311.6 OR A STAIRWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 R311.5 .
 THE REQUIRED EXIT DOOR SHALL BE A SIDE-HINGED DOOR NOT
 LESS THAN 3 FEET (914 MM) IN WIDTH AND 6 FEET 8 INCHES
 (2032 MM) IN HEIGHT. OTHER DOORS SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED
 TO COMPLY WITH THESE MINIMUM DIMENSIONS.
  
 8) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R320.7 PROTECTION AGAINST DECAY
 AND TERMITES.
 CONDENSATE LINES AND ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT
 LEAST 1 FOOT (305 MM) AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL,
 WHETHER BY UNDERGROUND PIPING, TAIL EXTENSIONS OR
 SPLASH BLOCKS. GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON
 ALL BUILDINGS WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM)
 HORIZONTAL PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE END RAKES OR ON
 A ROOF ABOVE ANOTHER ROOF.
  
 9) SPECIFY THE WINDOW TYPES ON THE PLANS (IE. SINGLE
 HUNG, CASEMENT, ETC.).
  
 10) SPECIFY THE DOOR TYPE OF THE SIDE SWING DOOR AT THE
 GARAGE ON THE FIRST FLOOR PLAN ON CH.2. SUBMIT PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR THIS DOOR. THE DOOR IS NOT SHOWN ON THE
 PROPOSED EAST ELEVATION ONCH.4.
  
 11) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R322.1.1 FOR BATHROOM DOOR
 WITH A 29" CLEAR OPENING.
  
 12) ON SHEET S.1 THE NOTES REFERENCE ASCE 7-98. PLEASE
 UPDATE THIS TO REFERENCE ASCE 7-02 PER CHAPTER 43 OF
 THE 2004 FBC RESIDENTIAL.
  
 13) ALSO ON SHEET S.1, PLEASE UPDATE ASCE 530-99 TO
 ASCE 530-05. SEE FBC R CHAPTER 43.

 CORRECT. NOTE: THE SOIL ENGINEER'S REPORT IS FOR A SOIL

 15) SPECIFY THE SPACING AND LOCATIONS OF THE VERTICAL
 REINFORCEMENT FOR THE CONCRETE BLOCK WALLS AND
