 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. SUBMIT PAID
 COUNTY IMPACT FEE RECEIPT.
  
 3) SUBMIT A DRAINAGE PLAN SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 R401.3 DRAINAGE .
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION SO AS
 TO NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED SO AS TO
 DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE
 GRADE AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL FALL A MINIMUM
 OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048
 MM).
 EXCEPTION: WHERE LOT LINES, WALLS, SLOPES OR OTHER
 PHYSICAL BARRIERS PROHIBIT 6 INCHES (152 MM) OF FALL
 WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM), DRAINS OR SWALES SHALL BE
 PROVIDED TO ENSURE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE.
  
 4) ON SHEET 1 THE WINDLOAD PRESSURE FOR THE CORNER
 WINDOW ON THE RIGHT SIDE ELEVATION IS INCORRECT. PLEASE
 REVISE.
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R903.4 ROOF DRAINAGE. UNLESS
 ROOFS ARE SLOPED TO DRAIN OVER ROOF EDGES, ROOF DRAINS
 SHALL BE INSTALLED AT EACH LOW POINT OF THE ROOF. WHERE
 REQUIRED FOR ROOF DRAINAGE, SCUPPERS SHALL BE PLACED
 LEVEL WITH THE ROOF SURFACE IN A WALL OR PARAPET. THE
 SCUPPER SHALL BE LOCATED AS DETERMINED BY THE ROOF
 SLOPE AND CONTRIBUTING ROOF AREA. SCUPPERS ARE REQUIRE
 TO BE LEVEL WITH THE ROOF SURFACE. REVISE SCUPPER
 DETAIL ON SHEET 4.
  
 6)SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R903.4.1
 WHEN OTHER MEANS OF DRAINAGE OF OVERFLOW WATER IS NOT
 PROVIDED, OVERFLOW SCUPPERS SHALL BE PLACED IN WALLS OR
 PARAPETS NOT LESS THAN 2 INCHES (51 MM) NOR MORE THAN 4
 INCHES (102 MM) ABOVE THE FINISHED ROOF COVERING AND
 SHALL BE LOCATED AS CLOSE AS PRACTICAL TO REQUIRED
 VERTICAL LEADERS OR DOWNSPOUTS OR WALL AND PARAPET
 SCUPPERS . AN OVERFLOW SCUPPER SHALL BE SIZED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, PLUMBING .
  
 7) SUBMIT SCUPPER AND SECONDARY ROOF DRAIN SIZING
 CALCULATIONS. SEE FBC PLUMBING SECTIONS 1106 AND 1107.
  
 8) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R320.7 PROTECTION AGAINST DECAY
 AND TERMITES.
 CONDENSATE LINES AND ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT
 LEAST 1 FOOT (305 MM) AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL,
 WHETHER BY UNDERGROUND PIPING, TAIL EXTENSIONS OR
 SPLASH BLOCKS. GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON
 ALL BUILDINGS WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM)
 HORIZONTAL PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE END RAKES OR ON
 A ROOF ABOVE ANOTHER ROOF.
  
 9) SPECIFY SAFETY GLAZING IN THE BATHROOM WINDOWS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBC R308.1.
  
 10) PROVIDE A STRUCTURAL DETAIL INDICATING THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE ARCH OPENINGS. FBC* 106.1.2
  
 11) CLARIFY THE FOUNDATION FOR THE EXTERIOR CBS WALL AT
 THE CARPORT. A 10" THICKENED EDGE WITH ONE #5 REBAR IS
 SPECIFIED. THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ADEQUATE.
  
 12) SPECIFY THE FOOTINGS AT THE COVERED ENTRY. FBC*

 13) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH ROOF VENTILATION R806.2
 MINIMUM AREA.
 THE TOTAL NET FREE VENTILATING AREA SHALL NOT BE LESS
 THAN 1 TO 150 OF THE AREA OF THE SPACE VENTILATED
 EXCEPT THAT THE TOTAL AREA IS PERMITTED TO BE REDUCED
 TO 1 TO 300, PROVIDED AT LEAST 50 PERCENT AND NOT MORE
 THAN 80 PERCENT OF THE REQUIRED VENTILATING AREA IS
 PROVIDED BY VENTILATORS LOCATED IN THE UPPER PORTION OF
 THE SPACE TO BE VENTILATED AT LEAST 3 FEET (914 MM)
 ABOVE EAVE OR CORNICE VENTS WITH THE BALANCE OF THE
 REQUIRED VENTILATION PROVIDED BY EAVE OR CORNICE VENTS.
 AS AN ALTERNATIVE, THE NET FREE CROSS-VENTILATION AREA
 MAY BE REDUCED TO 1 TO 300 WHEN A VAPOR BARRIER HAVING
 A TRANSMISSION RATE NOT EXCEEDING 1 PERM IS INSTALLED
 ON THE WARM SIDE OF THE CEILING.
  
 14) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS, PRODUCT
 APPROVAL OR TECHNICAL BULLETIN SHOWING THAT THE SIMPSON
 HUS 28 CAN BE ATTACHED TO CONCRETE OR MASONRY WITH
 TITEN SCREWS OR SPECIFY ANOTHER CONNECTOR.
  
 15) THE UPLIFT VALUE IN THE TRUSS ANCHOR SCHEDULE ON
 SHEET 3 FOR THE SIMPSON HETA 20 IS INCORRECT. THE
 ALLOWABLE UPLIFT LISTED IN THE 2007 SIMPSON CATALOG IS
 1805 #.
  
 16) SPECIFY THE BOLT LENGTH/EMBED DEPTH FOR THE SIMPSON
 LTT 20B IN THE ANCHOR SCHEDULE ON SHEET 3.
  
 17)WPB ADMIN CODE 106.3* PRODUCT
 APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCT WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
 FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 18) PLEASE DO NOT STAPLE PRODUCT APPROVALS TO THE
 PLANS.
  
 19) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE EXTERIOR OUTSWING
 DOOR AT THE CARPORT.
  
 20)SUBMIT A KEY PLAN AND INSTALLATION SCHEDULE FOR
 THE STORM PANELS. SPECIFY THE MOUNT TYPE, ANCHOR TYPE
 AND SPACING, ETC. SEE ATTACHED SAMPLE SCHEDULE.
  
 21) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER FOR THE TAMKO ROOFING
 HAS BEEN REVISED. UPDATE THE NOA NUMBER LISTED ON SHEET
 1 TO THE CURRENT ONE.
  
 22) SPECIFY WHICH ONE OF THE APPROVED ASSEMBLIES LISTED
 IN THE NOA FOR THE TAMKO MODIFIED ROOFING SYSTEM WILL
 BE INSTALLED. INDICATE THE FASTENING OPTION AND DESIGN
 PRESSURE THAT WILL BE USED. SUBMIT RAS 117 CALCULATIONS
 FOR ENHANCED FASTENING IF REQUIRED IN ORDER TO MEET
 COMPONENT AND CLADDING UPLIFT PRESSURES THE EDGE AND
 CORNER ROOF ZONES.
  
 23) SPECIFY THE COMPONENT AND CLADDING UPLIFT PRESSURES
 FOR THE THREE ROOF ZONES ON THE PLANS. SEE FBC TABLE
 R301.2(2) AND FIGURE R301.2(8).
  
 24) THE VALUE OF THE PROJECT HAS BEEN REVISED BASED ON
 ICC BUILDING VALUATION DATA. ADDITIONAL PERMIT FEES OF
 $764.33 ARE DUE.
