 FBC-2004 CHAPTER 1
  
 1. CONSTRUCTIONS PLANS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN TWO OR
 MORE SETS WITH EACH APPLICATION. ONLY ONE SET OF PLANS
 WITH THIS ADDRESS SUBMITTED.
  
 2. PLEASE INDICATE ALL CODES ADOPTED AND IN EFFECT BY
 THE STATE ON THE PLANS INCLUDING FBC-2004 PLUMBING
 W/2006 AMENDMENTS.
  
 3. INDICATE THE OCCUPANCY. THE APPLICATION INDICATES
 "NO CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY" AND PLANS INDICATE A RESIDENCE
 SO THE PLANS WILL BE REVIEWED AS AN R-3 OCCUPANCY. AS
 SUCH, A KITCHEN, BATHING FACILITIES, & A WASH MACHINE
 CONNECTION WILL BE REQUIRED PER TABLE 403.1. SUBMIT AN
 EXISTING FLOOR PLAN SHOWING THE LOCATION OF ALL
 REQUIRED FACILITIES. SECTION 106.1.2.
  
 4. SHT 4 OF 8SANITARY RISER DIAGRAM. TRAPS ARE NOT
 APPROVED FOR WATER CLOSETS AS THEY HAVE AN INTEGRAL
 TRAP IN THE FIXTURES. DELETE FROM RISER DIAGRAM.
 SECTION 1002.1.--THE SIZE OF THE DRAINAGE PIPE
 SHALL NOT BE REDUCED IN THE DIRECTION OF FLOW. SECTION
 704.2. (THE 3" LINE TO THE W/C REDUCES TO 2" ON THE
 RISER DIAGRAM).
  
 5. SHT 7 OF 9 SUBMIT CALCULATIONS FOR PRIMARY AND
 SECONDARY ROOF DRAINS PER SECTIONS 1106 & 1107 WITH ALL
 SUBSECTIONS & TABLES. SHOW THE SQUARE FOOTAGE BEING
 DRAINED BY EACH ROOF DRAIN AS WELL AS 1/2 AREA OF ALL
 VERTICAL WALLS INCLUDING PARAPETS IN THE CALCULATIONS.
 SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY ROOF
 DRAINS AS WELL AS A DETAIL FOR THE PRIMARY AND
 SECONDARY ROOF DRAINS. SECTIONS 106.1.1 & 106.1.2.
  
 6. NOTE: IF THIS TURNS OUT TO BE A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY,
 OR IS A COMMERCIAL OCCUPANCY AND NOT RESIDENTUAL AS
 INDICATED, THEN MORE COMMENTS WILL FOLLOW. AS THE PLANS
 ARE NOW SUBMITTED, NO PLUMBING WORK IS SHOWN ON THE
 PLANS. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 7. SUBMIT A WATER RISER DIAGRAM. SHOW ALL PIPE SIZES,
 VALVES AND, (IF REQUIRED BY SECTION 604.9), WATER
 HAMMER ARRESTORS INSTALLED PER PDI-WH 201 AND MANUF.
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
  
 8. A HOT WATER HEATER IS REQUIRED PER SECTION 607.1.
