 1- THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THAT THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 (FORM 600B-04ROR 600C-04R)ARE REQUESTED AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 13-600.3.ABC.3FBC 2004.
  
 2- ROOF FRAMING PLAN: REVISE NUMBER OF FASTENERS
 SPECIFIED FOR SIMPSON HETAL20 CONNECTOR TO ACHIEVE THE
 SPECIFIED UPLIFT LOAD.SEE CURRENT SIMPSON CATALOG AND
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. OTHERWISE, PROVIDE COMPLETE
 ENGINEERING ANALYSIS TO DEMONSTRATE WHY NUMBER OF
 FASTENERS IS DIFFERENT THAN THAT TESTED AND PUBLISHED
 BY THE MANUFACTURER. SEC. 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC 2004.
  
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS FOR SOFFIT
 CONSTRUCTION. "STUCCO FINISH SOFFIT" ARE NOT COMPLETE
 SPECIFICATIONS. SEC. 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC
 2004.
  
 4-SOFFIT VENTILATION WAS CHANGED.NEW SPECS CALL FOR
 7" X 24"AT 24" O.C. VENTS.THEY ARE ARE NOT ENOUGH
 TO PROVIDE CROSS VENTILATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R806
 FOR FLAT ROOFS. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 5- REVISE REFERENCES FOR EMERGENCY EGRESS WINDOWS. SEE
 RESIDENTIAL CODE FOR CORRECT CODE SECTIONS TO BE USED.
 ON THE OTHER HAND,EGRESS WINDOWS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR
 BATHROOM WINDOWS.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE
 9B-72 FOR:
 A) STORM SHUTTERS. DRAWINGS SUBMITTED ARE NOT AN
 APPROVED PRODUCT APPROVAL.
 ***NOTE: ALSO, CLEARLY INDICATE ON SHUTTER DRAWINGS
 SPECIFIC MOUNTING CONDITIONS (EG; WALL MOUNTED, ETC)
 AND SPECIFIC ANCHOR TYPE AND SPACING TO BE USED.
  
 B) FLAT ROOF ASSEMBLY. AND CLEARLY IDENTIFY SPECIFIC
 ASSEMBLY TO BE INSTALLED AND SPECIFIC FASTENING OPTION.
  
 ALSO, PROVIDE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR NAIL ENHANCING
 AT PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS AS REQUIRED BY GENERAL
 LIMITATION #7.
  
 7- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.3.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
 ***NOTE: ENGINEER NEEDS TO WRITE HIS NAME ON REVIEW
 STAMP.REVIEW & APPROVE STAMP ALONE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
 BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SAY WHO REVIEWED THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL.
  
 8- SURVEY AND FLOOR PLANS DON'T MATCH. SEE DIMENSIONS
 AND BUILDING LAYOUT. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH.
