 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 3)ON SHEET G1 THE NOTE UNDER THE LOAD SCHEDULE
 REFERENCES ASCE7-98. THE CORRECT EDITION IS ASCE7-02.
  
 4) PROVIDE A SITE PLAN SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH R401.3
 DRAINAGE.
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION SO AS
 TO NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED SO AS TO
 DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE
 GRADE AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL FALL A MINIMUM
 OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048
 MM).
 EXCEPTION: WHERE LOT LINES, WALLS, SLOPES OR OTHER
 PHYSICAL BARRIERS PROHIBIT 6 INCHES (152 MM) OF FALL
 WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM), DRAINS OR SWALES SHALL BE
 PROVIDED TO ENSURE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE.

 OTHER OPENINGS BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND RESIDENCE SHALL
 BE EQUIPPED WITH SOLID WOOD DOORS NOT LESS THAN 1 3 / 8
 INCHES (35 MM) IN THICKNESS, SOLID OR HONEYCOMB CORE
 STEEL DOORS NOT LESS THAN 1 3 / 8 INCHES (35 MM) THICK,
 OR 20-MINUTE FIRE-RATED DOORS.
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R309.2 SEPARATION REQUIRED. THE
 GARAGE SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE RESIDENCE AND ITS
 ATTIC AREA BY NOT LESS THAN ? -INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM
 BOARD APPLIED TO THE GARAGE SIDE. GARAGES BENEATH
 HABITABLE ROOMS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM ALL HABITABLE
 ROOMS ABOVE BY NOT LESS THAN 5 / 8 -INCH (15.9 MM) TYPE
 X GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT. WHERE THE SEPARATION IS A
 FLOOR-CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE SUPPORTING THE
 SEPARATION SHALL ALSO BE PROTECTED BY NOT LESS THAN
 ?-INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.
  
 7) THE TRUSS CONNECTOR SCHEDULE ON S3 SPECIFIES A USP
 RT16 CONNECTOR ATTACHED TO CONCRETE. THE CATALOG LISTS
 THIS AS A WOOD TO WOOD CONNECTOR. SUBMIT A PRODUCT
 APPROVAL OR TECHNICAL BULLETIN FROM THE MANUFACTURER
 WHICH SPECIFIES THIS APPLICATION AND THE REACTION
 RESISTANCE VALUES.
  
 8) DETAIL 7 ON S4 SPECIFIES A SIMPSON HUC48 AND HUC410
 ATTACHED TO MASONRY WITH TAP CONS. SUBMIT A PRODUCT
 APPROVAL OR TECHNICAL BULLETIN FROM THE MANUFACTURER
 WHICH SPECIFIES THIS APPLICATION AND THE REACTION
 RESISTANCE VALUES.
  
 9) THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN ON S2 IS MISSING THE LINES FOR
 THE BEAM B2 AT THE AT THE LIVING ROOM WINDOWS.
  
 10) SUBMIT SPECIFICATIONS FROM THE FIREPLACE AND FLUE
 MANUFACTURER INDICATING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CHIMNEY
 CAPS. THE SPECIFICATIONS SHOULD SPECIFY THE REQUIRED
 CLEARANCES TO COMBUSTIBLES, OPENING REQUIREMENTS FOR
 PROPER DRAFT ETC.
  
 11) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE CLOPAY OVERHEAD
 GARAGE DOORS IS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM SIZE OF 9' X 8'.
 THE PLANS SPECIFY 9' X 9' GARAGE DOORS.
  
 12) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE PGT FIXED WINDOWS IS
 LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM AREA OF 32 SQFT. MOST OF THE FIXED
 WINDOWS SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS EXCEED THIS.
  
 13) INDICATE WHICH ONE OF THE FASTENING OPTIONS LISTED
 IN THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE ENTEGRA ROOF TILE WILL
 BE USED. CIRCLE THE APPROPRIATE ITEM IN THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL.
  
 14) SPECIFY THE CEILING COVERINGS FOR THE COVERED PATIO
 AND ENTRY. THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BBQ GRILL STATE
 THAT IT IS NOT TO BE INSTALLED BELOW OVERHEAD
 UNPROTECTED COMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION.
  
 15) SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 EXHAUST HOOD AT THE BBQ ON THE COVERED PORCH.
