 8)R309.1OPENINGS FROM A PRIVATE GARAGE DIRECTLY
 INTO A ROOM USED FOR SLEEPING PURPOSES SHALL NOT BE
 PERMITTED, OTHER OPENINGS BETWEEN THE GARAGE AND
 RESIDENCE SHALL BEEQUIPPED WITH SOLID WOOD DOORS NOT
 LESS THAN 1 3/8 INCHES IN THICKNESS, SOLID OR HONEYCOMB
 CORE STEEL DOORS NOT LESS THAN 1 3/8 INCHES THICK, OR
 20-MINUTE FIRE-RATED DOORS.
  
 9)R309.2THE GARAGE SHALL BE SEPERATED FROM THE
 RESIDENCE AND ITS ATTIC AREA BY NOT LESS THAN 1/2-INCH
 GYPSUM BOARD APPLIED TO THE GARAGE SIDE. GARAGES
 BENEATH HABITABLE ROOMS SHALL BE SEPERATED FROM ALL
 HABITABLE ROOMS ABOVE BY NOT LESS THAN 5/8-INCH TYPE X
 GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.WHERE THE SEPERATION IS A
 FLOOR-CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE SUPPORTING THE
 SEPERATIION SHALL ALSO BE PROTECTED BY NOT LESS THAN
 1/2 INCH GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.
  
 10)R309.3THE AREA OF FLOOR USED FOR PARKING OF
 AUTOMOBILES OR OTHER VEHICLES SHALL BE SLOPED TO
 FACILICATE THE MOVEMENT OF LIQUIDS TO A DRAIN OR TOWARD
 THE MAIN VEHICLES SHALL BE SLOPED TO FACILITATE THE
 MOVEMENT OF LIQUIDS TO A DRAIN OR TOWARD THE MAIN
 VEHICLE ENTRY DOORWAY.

 THOSE PRODUCTS THAT ARE RGULATED BY DCA
 RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND
 APPROVED IN WRITTING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL. PROVIDE TWO SETS OF UPDATED
 PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR EACH PRODUCT. SUBMIT A
 WINDOW/DOOR SCHEDULE WITH THE SIZE OF EACH OPENING. ON
 A FLOOR PLAN INDICATE THE LOACTION OF EACH WINDOW OR
 DOOR OPENING.
  
 12)IF THIS AREA WILL BE USED FOR LIVING SPACE, THE
 FLOOR WILL HAVE TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 R506.1CONCRETE SLAB-ON-GROUND FLOORS SHALL BE A
 MINIMUM 3.5 INCHES (89 MM) THICK (FOR EXPANSIVE SOILS,
 SEE SECTION R403.1.8 ). THE SPECIFIED COMPRESSIVE
 STRENGTH OF CONCRETE SHALL BE AS SET FORTH IN SECTION
