 VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL (33-PERCENT SLOPE),
 UNDERLAYMENT SHALL BE TWO LAYERS APPLIED IN THE
 FOLLOWING MANNER. APPLY A 19-INCH (483 MM) STRIP OF
 UNDERLAYMENT FELT PARALLEL WITH AND STARTING AT THE
 EAVES, FASTENED SUFFICIENTLY TO HOLD IN PLACE. STARTING

 UNDERLAYMENT SHALL BE APPLIED SHINGLE FASHION, PARALLEL
 TO AND STARTING FROM THE EAVE AND LAPPED 2 INCHES (51
 MM), FASTENED SUFFICIENTLY TO HOLD IN PLACE. END LAPS
 SHALL BE OFFSET BY 6 FEET (1829 MM). SPECIFY 2 LAYERS
 OF UNDERLAYMENT ON THE PLANS.
  
 5) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS IN
 BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING OR ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION, AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO ATTIC AREAS THAT EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M 2 )
 AND HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR
 GREATER. THE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL NOT BE LESS
 THAN 22 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762 MM) AND
 SHALL BE LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY
 ACCESSIBLE LOCATION. A 30-INCH (762 MM) MINIMUM
 UNOBSTRUCTED HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AT SOME POINT ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING. SEE
 SECTION M1305.1.3 FOR ACCESS REQUIREMENTS WHERE
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS LOCATED IN ATTICS.
  
 6) PROVIDE A SITE PLAN SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH R401.3
 DRAINAGE .
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION SO AS
 TO NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED SO AS TO
 DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE
 GRADE AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL FALL A MINIMUM
 OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048
 MM).
 EXCEPTION: WHERE LOT LINES, WALLS, SLOPES OR OTHER
 PHYSICAL BARRIERS PROHIBIT 6 INCHES (152 MM) OF FALL
 WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM), DRAINS OR SWALES SHALL BE
 PROVIDED TO ENSURE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE.
  
 7) THE FOOTING SCHEDULE ON 2.1 SHOWS F-2 AS18" X 16"
 AND SECTION 1 ON 6.1 SHOWS AN 18 ' X 18 " FOOTING.
 PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 8)SAFETY GLAZING IS REQUIRED BY R308.4 HAZARDOUS
 LOCATIONS.
 THE FOLLOWING SHALL BE CONSIDERED SPECIFIC HAZARDOUS
 LOCATIONS FOR THE PURPOSES OF GLAZING :
 5. GLAZING IN DOORS AND ENCLOSURES FOR HOT TUBS,
 WHIRLPOOLS, SAUNAS, STEAM ROOMS, BATHTUBS AND SHOWERS.
 GLAZING IN ANY PART OF A BUILDING WALL ENCLOSING THESE
 COMPARTMENTS WHERE THE BOTTOM EXPOSED EDGE OF THE
 GLAZING IS LESS THAN 60 INCHES (1524 MM) MEASURED
 VERTICALLY ABOVE ANY STANDING OR WALKING SURFACE. LARGE
 MISSILE IMPACT RATED WINDOWS ARE ACCEPTABLE IN THESE
 LOCATIONS.
  
 9)THE OPENING WIND PRESSURES ON 5.1 ARE INCORRECT.
 SEE TABLE R301.2(2) AND FIGURE R 301.2(8). PRESSURES IN
 WALL ZONE 5 SHOULD BE HIGHER THAN ZONE 4 FOR THE SAME
 SIZE OPENINGS.
  
 10) R613.6.2 MASONRY, CONCRETE OR OTHER STRUCTURAL
 SUBSTRATE.
 WHERE THE WOOD SHIM OR BUCK THICKNESS IS LESS THAN 1?
 INCHES (38 MM), WINDOW AND DOOR ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE
 ANCHORED THROUGH THE MAIN FRAME OR BY JAMB CLIP OR
 SUBFRAME SYSTEM, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURERS
 PUBLISHED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. ANCHORS SHALL BE
 SECURELY FASTENED DIRECTLY INTO THE MASONRY, CONCRETE
 OR OTHER STRUCTURAL SUBSTRATE MATERIAL. UNLESS
 OTHERWISE TESTED, BUCKS SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE
 INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME SUCH THAT
 FULL SUPPORT OF THE FRAME IS PROVIDED. SHIMS SHALL BE
 MADE FROM MATERIALS CAPABLE OF SUSTAINING APPLICABLE
 LOADS, LOCATED AND APPLIED IN A THICKNESS CAPABLE OF
 SUSTAINING APPLICABLE LOADS. ANCHORS SHALL BE PROVIDED

 FRAME OR BY JAMB CLIP OR SUBFRAME SYSTEM OR THROUGH THE
 FLANGE TO THE SECURED WOOD BUCK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 MANUFACTURERS PUBLISHED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
 UNLESS OTHERWISE TESTED, BUCKS SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE
 INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME SUCH THAT

 CLARIFY THE WINDOW BUCK DETAILS ON 5.1 TO INDICATE THAT
 THE WINDOW FRAME IS TO FASTENED THROUGH THE 1X BUCK
 INTO THE CONCRETE SUBSTRATE.
  
 11)ROOF SHEATHING IS REQUIRED TO BE IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION R803.2.3.1 OF 2006 REVISIONS TO 2004 FBC
 RESIDENTIAL CODE. WOOD STRUCTURAL PANEL SHEATHING SHALL
 BE FASTENED TO ROOF FRAMING WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT
 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT EDGES AND 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT
 INTERMEDIATE FRAMING. SPACING OF RING-SHANK FASTENERS
 SHALL BE 4 INCHES ON CENTER IN NAILING ZONE 3 FOR 130
 MPH OR GREATER DESIGN WIND SPEEDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FIGURE R803.2.3.1. PLEASE REVISE THE SCHEDULE ON 4.1
 AND THE WALL SECTION NOTE ON 6.1 .
  
 12) THE BOTTOM CORD DEAD LOAD IS SPECIFIED AS 10 PSF ON
 3.1 OF THE PLANS AND THE TRUSS DRAWINGS HAVE A BCDL OF
 5 PSF. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 13) SPECIFY THE TRUSS BRACING ON THE PLANS.R802.10.3
 BRACING .
 TRUSSES SHALL BE BRACED TO PREVENT ROTATION AND PROVIDE
 LATERAL STABILITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 SPECIFIED IN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR THE
 BUILDING AND ON THE INDIVIDUAL TRUSS DESIGN DRAWINGS.
  
 14) THE TRUSS DRAWINGS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE
 ORIGINAL SIGNATURE OF THE TRUSS ENGINEER. THE ONES
 SUBMITTED ARE COPIED SIGNATURES. SEE FS 471.025.
  
 15)THE TRUSS LAYOUT IS REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED AND
 APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE
 STRUCTURE.
  
 16) THE OWNER/AGENT IS REQUIRED TO SIGN THE ENERGY
 CALC. FORMS. SEE FBC CHAPTER 13.
  
 17)SUBMIT 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR ROOFING
 MATERIAL,SLIDING GLASS DOOR, OUTSWING DOOR,
 STRUCTURAL WINDOW MULLIONS AND CONNECTORS.
  
 18)WPB ADMIN CODE 106.3* PRODUCT
 APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCT WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
 FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 19) ADDRESS COMMENTS OF OTHER TRADES.
  
 20) THE COST OF THE WORK IS TOO LOW. THE COST OF THE
 ADDITION ONLY IS $ 45,000,NOT INCLUDING THE WINDOW
 REPLACEMENT IN THE REST OF THE HOUSE, THE NEW CABINETS,
 REWIRING THE EXISTING HOUSE, ETC. PLEASE CORRECT VALUE
