 TERMITES AND DECAY. CONDENSATE LINES AND ROOF
 DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT LEAST 1 FOOT AWAY FROM
 THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL, WHETHER BY UNDERGROUND PIPING,
 TAIL EXTENSIONS OR SPLASH BLOCKS. GUTTERS WITH DOWN
 SPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL BUILDINGS WITH EAVES OF LESS
 THAN 6 INCHES HORIZONTAL PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE
 END RAKES OR ON A ROOF ABOVE ANOTHER ROOF.
  
 10)SECTION A-B ON S1 SHOULD SPECIFY CDX (EXTERIOR
 GRADE) PLYWOOD. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 11) PLEASE SPECIFY THAT THE NEW STUCCO IS TO BE APPLIED
 OVER METAL LATH WITH AN ACCEPTABLE MOISTURE BARRIER.
 SEE ASTM C 926, ASTM C 1063 AND FBC R703.
  
 12)SPECIFY THE REQUIRED SOIL BEARING CAPACITY OF THE
 SOIL ON THE PLANS.

 ENCLOSED ATTICS AND ENCLOSED RAFTER SPACES FORMED WHERE
 CEILINGS ARE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THE UNDERSIDE OF ROOF
 RAFTERS SHALL HAVE CROSS VENTILATION FOR EACH SEPARATE
 SPACE BY VENTILATING OPENINGS PROTECTED AGAINST THE
 ENTRANCE OF RAIN. VENTILATING OPENINGS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH CORROSION-RESISTANT WIRE MESH, WIT H 1 /
 8 INCH (3.2 MM) MINIMUM TO ? INCH (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM
 OPENINGS.
  
 15)ROOF SHEATHING IS REQUIRED TO BE IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION R803.2.3.1 OF 2006 REVISIONS TO 2004 FBC
 RESIDENTIAL CODE. WOOD STRUCTURAL PANEL SHEATHING SHALL
 BE FASTENED TO ROOF FRAMING WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT
 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT EDGES AND 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT
 INTERMEDIATE FRAMING. SPACING OF RING-SHANK FASTENERS
 SHALL BE 4 INCHES ON CENTER IN NAILING ZONE 3 FOR 130
 MPH OR GREATER DESIGNWIND SPEEDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FIGURE R803.2.3.1. REVISE NOTE ON S1.
  
 16) SPECIFY THE SPACING OF THE ROOF TRUSSES ON THE
 PLANS. IF THE ROOF TRUSSES ARE 24" OC AND THE WALL STUD
 SPACING IS 16" OC, THE TS12 STRAPS THAT ARE SPECIFIED
 FROM THE STUDS TO THE TRUSSES WILL NOT WORK.
  
 17) THE SIMPSON TS12 STRAPS THAT ARE SPECIFIED HAVE NO
 VALUE SPECIFIED IN THE CATALOG FOR LATERAL LOADS.
  
 18) THE TRUSS DRAWINGS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE
 ORIGINAL SIGNATURE OF THE TRUSS ENINEER. PHOTO COPIED
 SIGNATURES OR STAMPS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. SEE FS 471.
  
 19)PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED WITH
 PERMIT APPLICATION AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2003
 ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL SYSTEM. FOR INFORMATION
 PLEASE SEE THE STATE WEBSITE AT
 WWW.FLORIDABUILDING.ORG. PRODUCTS WITH
 STATEWIDE APPROVAL ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 SUBMITTED WITH A COVER SHEET THAT LISTS
 THE PRODUCT IDENTITY NUMBER FROM THE
 STATE.
  
 20) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE FLAT ROOF
 COVERING. INDICATE WHICH ONE OF THE APPROVED ASSEMBLIES
 LISTED IN THE PRODUCT APPROVAL WILL BE INSTALLED.
 INDICATE THE FASTENING OPTION AND DESIGN PRESSURE THAT
 WILL BE USED. CIRCLE THE APPROPRIATE ITEMS ON THE
 PRODUCT APPROVALS. IF ENHANCED FASTENING IS REQUIRED
 FOR PERIMETER OR CORNER AREAS, SUBMIT RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 21) GLAZED OPENINGS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE IMPACT
 PROTECTION PER R301.2.1.2. THE PLANS INDICATE THAT THIS
 WILL BE DONE BY OTHERS UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT ADDITIONAL FEES WILL BE REQUIRED AND THIS
 PERMIT CAN NOT BE FINALED UNTIL THE STORM PANELS HAVE
 BEEN INSTALLED.
