 SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR
 A THRESHOLD BUILDING REQUIRE (3) SETS,
 ONLY (2) WERE SUBMITTED.
  
 2) SHEET S-8- CONCERNS WITH DETAIL SEC-
 TION DETAIL "V". THRESHOLD INSPECTOR
 JOE WAGNER HAS ADDRESSED HIS CONCRNS
 ABOUT THE DOUBLE BAR JOIST AT THE NEW
 EXTENSION OF THE MEZZANINE. PLEASE PRO-
 VIDE DETAILS AS HOW THESE MEMBERS WILL
 WORK AS A SINGLE BEAM AND NOT AS INDIVID
 UAL MEMBERS.
 A SECOND CONCERN IS THE GLASS GUARD-
 RAIL, THE BAR JOIST, IF THE (GIRDER) IS
 NOT FUSED TO MAKE A SINGLE MEMBER THE
 WEIGHT OF THE HAND RAIL WILL BE ON THE
 OUTSIDE BAR JOIST WHICH WILL BE CARRYING
 A HEAVIER LOAD.
 THE ORIGINAL PLANS DO INDICATE A FLOOR
 LOAD OF 50 LBS LIVE LOAD WHICH IS IN
 LINE WITH TABLE 1604.1. THE ISSUE OF
 LIVE LOAD FOR THE AISLES HAS NOT. THE
 SAME TABLE 1604.1. ESTABLISHES A 100 LBS
 LIVE LOAD FOR EXIT AISLES. PROVIDE CALCU
 LATIONS FOR THE FRONT MEZANINE AISLES
 AND FOR THE SECONARY AISLES THAT SERVICE
 THE MEZANINE SEATING AREA.
  
 3) THE NEXT CONCERN IS THE NEW COLUMN &
 LINTEL AT THE FOOT OF THE STAIRS. S-10
 INDICATES NEW COLUMNS ONTO THE EXISTING
 FOUDATION AND STEM WALL. DOES THE EXIST-
 ING FOUDATION DESIGN PROVIDE ENOUGH
 BEARING STRENGTH FOR THE POINT LOADING.
 THE OTHER CONCERN IS TO "FILL CELLS
 (3 MIN) WITH CONCRETE". DOES THIS NOTA-
 TION MEAN 3 CELLS VERTICALLY OR HORIZON-
 TALLY? AT WHAT PSI? PROVIDE 4-5/8" DIA.
 ANCHOR BOLTS? LENGHT.
 THE NEXT ISSUE IS THE LINTEL DETAIL
 AT THE SAME COLUMN. THE 4"X4" STEEL
 ANGLE SHOWS A ANGLE AT THE EXISTING COL-
 UMN WHERE THE ANGLE CAN'T CONTINUE INTO
 THE BLOCK TO GET A SEAT. NO INFORMATION
 HAS BEEN PROVIDED FOR ANCHORING INTO THE
 EXISTING COLUMN. SINCE THIS IS A EXTER-
 IOR MASONARY WALL HAS UPLIFT BEEN ADD-
 RESSED.
  
 4) STRUCTURAL PLANS S-6 INDICATE THE USE
 OF TIMBER PURLINS, NO SIZE PROVIDED ONLY
 THE NOTE SEE PLANS, WHERE?
  
 5)S-2 PLANS INDICATE B-1 TO BE A 24"X18"
 BUT THE INSPECTOR INDICATED THE BEAM HAS
 BEEN REDUCED BY 10", IS THERE ADDITIONAL
 STEEL OR A REPOSITIONING OF STEEL?
