 LOCATION OF THIS UNIT. THE ROOF FRAMING
 PLAN INDICATES THAT IT IS HUNG FROM THE
 TRUSSES AND NOT IN THE ATTIC.
  
 7) SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S SPECS. AND UL
 LISTING INFORMATION FOR THE BBQ ON THE
 LANAI.
  
 8) THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN ON A5 SPECIFIES
 DETAILS B,C & D ON A4. THESE DETAILS ARE
 ON SHEET A5 AND ARE INCORRECTLY LABELED
 AS A4. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 9) THE STEEL COLUMN CAPS HAVE THE WRONG
 CONFIGURATIONS SPECIFIED AT SEVERAL
 LOCATIONS. HANGERS ARE INDICATED AT STL.
 COLUMNS AND CAPS ARE SPECIFIED WHERE
 THERE ISN,T A COLUMN. SEE SHEET A5 AND
 DETAILS ON A5.
  
 10) PROVIDE DETAILS FOR THE 3"X 6" TUBE
 STEEL COLUMN BASES AND CAPS.
  
 11) SOME OF THE GIRDERS DO NOT HAVE A
 CONNECTOR SPECIFIED. SEE THE NOTES ON
 A5.
  
 12) THE NOTE ON THE WALL SECTION ON A8
 EXCLUDES SOFFIT VENTS AT CROWN FACIA
 AREAS. SPECIFY THAT ATTIC VENTS SHALL
 PROVIDE A NET FREE VENT AREA WITH A

 13) PLEASE UPDATE THE REFERENCE TO THE
 SBC 97 TO THE 2001 FBC ON A8. ALSO

 A CURRENT CONNECTOR. HUGHES IS NO LONGER
 IN BUSINESS.
  
 14) CORRECT THE R VALUES LISTED ON THE
 ENERGY CALCULATION FORM. THE CEILING
 INSULATION IS R30 ON THE PLANS. THE R
 VALUE OF THE INSULATION AT THE CMU
 EXTERIOR WALLS IS 4.2. THE ADJACENT
 FRAME WALL SHOULD BE R-19 FOR 2X6 OR
 R-11 FOR 2X4 WALLS.
  
 15) CHANGE THE R VALUE OF THE INSULATION
 AT THE ATTIC ACCESS DETAIL ON A9 TO
 R-30 TO CORRESPOND WITH THE WALL SECTION
 ON A8.
  
 16) PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED WITH
 PERMIT APPLICATION AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2003
 ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL SYSTEM. FOR INFORMATION
 PLEASE SEE THE STATE WEBSITE AT
 WWW.FLORIDABUILDING.ORG. PRODUCTS WITH
 STATEWIDE APPROVAL ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 SUBMITTED WITH A COVER SHEET THAT LISTS
 THE PRODUCT IDENTITY NUMBER FROM THE
 STATE. IF THE PRODUCT DOES NOT HAVE
 STATEWIDE APPROVAL, SUBMIT AN APPLICA-
 TION FOR LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL OR SITE
 SPECIFIC FORM PER RULE 9B-72. SEE
 ATTACHMENT.
  
 17) SUBMIT ENGINEERING FOR BUTT GLASS
 WINDOW PER FBC 2406.2.
  
 18) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR FIXED
 GLASS, ARCHED FIXED GLASS AND CASEMENT
 WINDOWS, STRUCTURAL MULLIONS, OUTSWING
 ENTRY DOORS AND STORM PANELS.
  
 19) SUBMIT THE APPROVED DRAWINGS FOR THE
 OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS.
  
 20) PLEASE CLARIFY WHERE THE ALUMINUM
 STOREFRONT DOORS WILL BE INSTALLED.
 NOTE THE LIMITATION ON THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR WATER INTRUSION WITHOUT AN
 ADEQUATE OVERHANG.
  
 21) PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR IMPACT AND
 NON-IMPACT RESISTANT SH WINDOWS AND
 STOREFRONT DOORS WERE SUBMITTED. PLEASE
 CLARIFY.
  
 22)FBC 1005.4.5 (GLITCH AMENDMENTS
 JULY 1, 2003) REQUIRES AT LEAST ONE
 MEANS OF ESCAPE FROM A DWELLING WHEN
 SHUTTERED FOR IMPACT PROTECTION. THE
 MEANS OF ESCAPE SHALL BE WITHIN THE
 FIRST FLOOR OF THE DWELLING AND CAN NOT
 BE LOCATED IN A GARAGE. OCCUPANTS IN ANY
 PART OF THE DWELLING SHALL HAVE ACCESS
 TO IT WITHOUT HAVING TO PASS THROUGH A
 LOCKABLE DOOR NOT UNDER THEIR CONTROL.
 INDICATE HOW COMPLIANCE WILL BE
 ACHIEVED AT THE OPTIONAL GUEST SUITE.
 THE KEY PLAN INDICATES IMPACT GLASS FOR
 EGRESS AT THE WRONG LOCATION.
