 2) THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE IS REQUIRED TO
 BE MADE TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS
 FOR A NEW STRUCTURE DUE TO THE REPAIRS
 AMOUNTING TO MORE THAN 50% OF THE VALUE

 CODE AND DESIGN CRITERIA. PLEASE REVISE.
 THE 2001 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE AND
 ASCE 7-98 ARE THE PROPER REFERENCES.
  
 6) PLEASE REVISE THE CODE REFERENCES ON
 A4 TO FLORIDA BUILDING CODE IN THE
 FASTENER SCHEDULE. REVISE #12 UNDER
 TYPICAL SECTION NOTES TO REFERENCE
 ASCE 7-98.
  
 7) REVISE ITEM #9 UNDER TYPICAL SECTION
 NOTES ON A4 TO ALL WINDOWS.

 SECTIONS ON A5 IS REQUIRED TO BE 7/8"
 THICK PER FBC 2504.2.1 AND ASTM C 926.
  
 13) A CONTINOUS LOAD PATH FROM THE ROOF
 TO THE FOUNDATION IS REQUIRED TO
 TRANSFER THE LOADS. NO CONNECTORS ARE
 SHOWN ON A5 TO CONNECT THE BOTTOM PLATE
 AND FLOOR JOISTS TO SILL PLATE AT THE
 FIRST FLOOR. NO CONNECTORS ARE INDICATED
 FROM TOP PLATES ON FIRST FLOOR TO BOTTOM
 PLATE OF SECOND FLOOR. INDICATE THESE
 CONNECTORS ON THE PLANS.
  
 14) FIREBLOCKING IS REQUIRED BETWEEN THE
 FLOOR AND WALL ASSEMBLIES ON THE FIRST
 AND SECOND FLOORS PER FBC 2305.1. PLEASE
 SHOW THIS ON THE PLANS. INDICATE THE
 LOCATION AND MATERIALS USED TO DRAFTSTOP
 THE FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY INTO 500 SQFT
 AREAS PER FBC 2305.2.2.
  
 5) INDICATE THE ATTIC ACCESS ON THE
 PLANS THAT COMPLIES WITH 2309.6.

 ARE REQUIRED AT SLEEPING ROOMS PER 2001
 FBC 1005.4. THE 1/2 34SH WINDOWS DO NOT
 PROVIDE REQUIRED NET CLEAR OPENING AREA
 FOR THE SECOND FLOOR OR THE CLEAR
 OPENING HEIGHT. THE ROOMS WHICH HAVE
 CLOSETS MUST ALSO COMPLY.
  
 17) INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR STAIRS MUST BE
 MADE TO COMPLY WITH 2001 FBC. PROVIDE
 DETAILS OF STAIRS, HANDRAILS AND GUARD-
 RAILS. THE INTERMEDIATE RAILS ON THE
 STAIRS MUST REJECT THE PASSAGE OF A 4"
 DIAMETER SPHERE THROUGH ANY OPENING. THE
 PICKETS INDICATED ON SHEET A2 DO NOT
 COMPLY.
  
 18) PROVIDE COPIES OF SURVEY INDICATING
 DISTANCES TO THE PROPERTY LINES IN ORDER
 TO DETERMINE COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE 600
 FOR PERCENT OF WALL AREA ALLOWED AS WALL
 OPENINGS.
  
 19) PROVIDE ELEVATIONS. INDICATE FLOOR,
 CEILING, CRAWL SPACE, ETC. ELEVATIONS.
 INDICATE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT AND ROOF
 PITCH ON THE PLANS.
  
 20) INDICATE THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE
 WINDLOAD PRESSURES FOR ALL EXTERIOR DOOR
 AND WINDOW OPENINGS ON THE PLANS.
  
 21) PROVIDE (2) CURRENT AND COMPLETE
 COPIES OF SBCCI OR METRO-DADE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR:
 - EXTERIOR WOOD DOOR
 - EXTERIOR ALUMINUM DOOR
 THE PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT WAS SUBMITTED
 IS FOR AN EXTERIOR STEEL DOOR WHICH IS
 NOT INDICATED ON THE PLANS.
  
 22) THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON A2 INDICATES
 HOLLOW CORE WOOD EXTERIOR DOORS. CHAPTER
 13 OF THE FBC DOES NOT ALLOW THIS TYPE
 OF DOOR TO BE USED AT THE EXTERIOR.
