 OCCUPANCY, FLIGHTS OF LESS THAN 3 RISERS
 SHALL NOT BE USED IN INTERIOR OR EXTER-
 IOR STAIRS, EXIT PASSAGE WAYS, AT
 ENTRANCE OR ELSEWHERE IN CONNECTIOIN
 WITH REQUIRED EXITS. TO OVERCOME LESSER
 DIFFERENCES IN LEVEL, RAMPS IN ACCORD-
 ANCE WITH 1013 SHALL BE USED.
  
 2)11-4.1.3(1) AT LEAST ONE ACCESSIBLE
 ROUTE COMPLYING WITH 11-4.3 SHALL
 CONNECT ACCESSIBLE BUILDING OR FACILITY
 ENTRANCES WITH ALL ACCESSIBLE SPACES
 AND ELEMENTS WITHIN THE BUILDING OR
 FACILITY.
  
 3)11-4.8.2 SLOPE & RISE. THE LEAST
 POSSIBLE SLOPE SHALL BE USED FOR ANY
 RAMP. THE MAXIMUM SLOPE FOR A RAMP IN
 NEW CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE 1 TO 12. THE
 MAXIMUM RISE FOR RUN SHALL BE 30" (SEE
 FIGURE 16).
  
 4)11-4.8.3. CLEAR WIDTH. THE MINIMUM
 CLEAR WIDTH OF A RAMP SHALL BE 36".
 EXCEPTION: RAMPS THAT ARE PART OF A
 REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL NOT BE
 LESS THAN 44 INCHES WIDE.
  
 5)11-4.8.4.(2) LANDINGS. ALL LANDINGS
 ON RAMPS SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 60"
 CLEAR, & THE BOTTOM OF EACH RAMP SHALL
 HAVE NOT LESS THAN 72" OF STRAIGHT &
 LEVEL CLEARENCE.
  
 6)11-4.8.4(3) IF RAMPS CHANGE DIREC-
 TION AT LANDINGS, THE MINIMUM LANDING
 SIZE SHALL BE 60" X 60".
  
 7)11.4.8.5. HANDRAILS: IF A RAMP HAS
 A RISE GREATER THAN 6" OR A HORIZONTAL
 PROJECTION GREATER THAN 72", THEN IT
 SHALL HAVE HANDRAILS ON BOTH SIDES.
  
 8)11-4.1.3(3) GROUND & FLOOR SURFACES
 ALONG ACCESSIBLE ROUTES & IN ACCESSIBLE
 ROOMS & SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH
 11-4.5. SEE ADDAAG A4.5.1 (GUIDELINE)
 A STATIC COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION OF 0.6
 IS RECOMENDED FOR ACCESSIBLE ROUTES
 AND 0.8 FOR RAMPS.
  
 BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY
 BE ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO
 PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL PERMIT
 SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT
 OFFICE, AND A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT
 ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT APPLICATION.
