2001-05-01 00:00:001) ALL UNDERGROUND FIRE MAINS ARE TO BE
 LISTED FOR FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE AND
 COMPLY WITH NFPA 24, FIRE SERVICE MAINS
 AND THEIR APPURTENANCES.
 2) INGRESS AND EGRESS INTO THE COMPLEX
 SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF TWENTY FEET IN
 CLEAR WIDTH. BATTERY BACK-UP FEATURE
 SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR GATE-ARMS SHOULD
 LOSS OF POWER OCCUR. TRAFFIC CALMING
 HUMPS ARE NOT TO INTERFERE WITH FIRE
 RESCUE MOVEMENT INTO THE COMPLEX.
 3) BUILDING LETTERS A,B,C,AND D, ARE TO

 PROVIDED AT EACH BUILDING DURING
 CONSTRUCTION. TEMPORARY STANDPIPES ARE
 REQUIRED IN ALL BUILDINGS UNDER
 CONSTRUCTION WHEN THEY ARE REQUIRED TO
 HAVE STANDPIPE SYSTEMS.
 5) HOW IS COMBUSTIBLE LINT REMOVED FROM
 THE DRYER CHASE. NO ACCESS PANELS HAVE
 BEEN PROVIDED.
 6) PROVIDE SEPARATE PLANS AND PERMITS
 FOR THE INSTALLATIONS OF THE FIRE
 SPRINKLER SYSTEMS. NO HYDRAULIC
 CALCULATIONS PROVIDED WITH SPRINKLER
 DRAWINGS. STANDPIPE SYSTEMS ARE REQUIRED
 IN ALL BUILDINGS THREE STORIES AND MORE
 THAN FIFTY FEET IN HEIGHT. ALL VERTICAL
 SHAFTS ARE TO BE FIRE SPRINKLER
 PROTECTED. PLEASE EXPLAIN RATIONALE FOR
 SINGLE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTION SHOWN
 ON THE DRAWINGS.
 7) DOOR SWINGS IN STAIRWELLS ARE TO
 SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF EXIT TRAVEL.
 8) SMOKE DETECTORS WHEN INSTALLED ARE
 TO BE A MINIMUM OF THREE FEET FROM
 AIR CONDITIONER DIFFUSERS.
 9) TRASH CHUTES TO COMPLY WITH NFPA 82,
 STANDARD ON INCINERATORS, WASTE AND
 LINEN HANDLING SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT.
 10) PLEASE INDICATE PORTABLE FIRE
 EXTINGUISHER LOCATIONS.
 11)SIGNS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL
 BUILDINGS FOUR OR MORE STORIES. SIGNS
 SHALL INDICATE FLOOR LEVEL, THE IDENTITY
 OF THE STAIR, THE TERMINUS OF THE STAIR,
 TOP AND BOTTOM.
 12) PROVIDE SEPARATE PLANS AND PERMITS
 FOR THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
