 ALL INFORMATION, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
 ACCOMPANYING DATA SHALL BEAR THE NAME AND SIGNATURE OF

 2) ON PAGE 5 OF THE PLANS, A 1' LAP OF THE #4 REBAR IS
 SPECIFIED. FBC 2107.2.1 REQUIRES THE LAP TO BE 40 BAR
 DIAMETERS.
  
 3) SPECIFY THE TYPE OF CONCRETE BLOCK THAT WILL BE
 USED. THE PLANS SHOW THAT THE CONCRETE BLOCKS ONLY HAVE
 VERTICAL STEEL REINFORCING. NO HORIZONTAL REINFORCING
 IS SPECIFIED. PROVIDE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW THAT THE
 BLOCK CAN WITHSTAND THE LATERAL FORCES OF THE WATER AND
 SOIL. FBC 107.2.1
  
 4) THERE IS NO EMPIRICAL DESIGN FOR MASONRY SWIMMING
 POOLS. SUBMIT SIGNED AND SEALED ENGINEERING FOR THE
 MASONRY PORTIONS OF THE POOL. FBC-R606.1 GENERAL
 MASONRY CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION AND
 SECTION R301.2.1.1, TMS 402, TMS 403 OR TMS 404.
 FBC-R606.1.1 PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED
 WHEN THE EMPIRICAL DESIGN PROVISIONS OF APPENDIX A OF
 TMS 402, THE PROVISIONS OF TMS 403, OR THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS SECTION ARE USED TO DESIGN MASONRY, PROJECT
 DRAWINGS, TYPICAL DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT
 REQUIRED TO BEAR THE SEAL OF THE ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER
 RESPONSIBLE FOR DESIGN, UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY
 THE STATE LAW OF THE JURISDICTION HAVING AUTHORITY.
  
 5) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED SPACING OF THE VERTICAL AND
 HORIZONTAL STEEL REINFORCING IN THE POURED CONCRETE
 WALLS AND THE SPACING IN EACH DIRECTION IN THE POOL

 6) INGROUND SWIMMING POOLS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH
 ANSI/APSP/ICC5.
 A) SECTION 4.1 REQUIRES STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND MATERIALS
 USED SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPTED STRUCTURAL
 ENGINEERING PRACTICES AND METHODS.
 B) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 5.5 FOR THE SLOPE OF
 THE POOL FLOOR.
  
 7) A THOROUGH AND COMPLETE PLAN REVIEW CANNOT BE
 COMPLETED AT THIS TIME DUE TO LACK OF INFORMATION ON
 THE SUBMITTED PLANS. ADDITIONAL PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS
 MAY BE GENERATED WHEN MORE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED.
