 1) THE BEAR ISLAND DESIGN GUIDELINES SET THE FOLLOWING
 SETBACKS:
  
 A. REAR SETBACK: 15 FEET
 B. NON-ZERO SIDE SETBACK: 8 FEET
  
 2) THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS PERMIT
 GENERATORS TO ENCROACH A MAXIMUM OF 4 FEET INTO A
 REQUIRED SETBACK, SO THE PROPOSED SETBACKS STATED ON
 THE SITE SURVEY ARE TOO CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY LINE.
 PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE SETBACK IS MEASURED FROM THE
 FURTHEST PROJECTION OF THE SLAB.
  
 3) PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE BBQ GRILL. IS THIS A
 PORTABLE GRILL OR A FIXED STRUCTURE (PROVIDE PHOTO IF
 EXISTING)? IF IT IS A PROPOSED FIXED BBQ GRILL
 STRUCTURE, IT REQUIRES A PERMIT AND MUST COMPLY WITH
 THE PRIMARY STRUCTURE SETBACKS SINCE IT APPEARS LESS
 THAN 6 FEET FROM THE HOUSE.
