 1) PLEASE PROVIDE A BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION MARKED
 "STRUCTURAL" SHOWING THE JOB VALUE FOR THE TRUSS
 REPAIRS.
 2) CANNOT HAVE A REMOVEABLE STRUCTURAL TRUSS COMPONENT.
 FBC R801.2 REQUIREMENTS.
 ROOF AND CEILING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE CAPABLE OF
 ACCOMMODATING ALL LOADS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION R301 AND OF TRANSMITTING THE RESULTING LOADS TO
 THE SUPPORTING STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS.
 3) PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER FROM THE TRUSS ENGINEER
 STATING THAT THE TRUSS SYSTEM CAN HANDLE THE ADDITIONAL
 WEIGHT OF THE AC. FBC R802.10.4 ALTERATIONS TO TRUSSES.
 TRUSS MEMBERS SHALL NOT BE CUT, NOTCHED, DRILLED,
 SPLICED OR OTHERWISE ALTERED IN ANY WAY WITHOUT THE
 APPROVAL OF A REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL.
 ALTERATIONS RESULTING IN THE ADDITION OF LOAD SUCH AS
 HVAC EQUIPMENT WATER HEATER THAT EXCEEDS THE DESIGN
 LOAD FOR THE TRUSS SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED WITHOUT
 VERIFICATION THAT THE TRUSS IS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING
 SUCH ADDITIONAL LOADING.
 4) PLEASE PROVIDE A TRUSS LAYOUT PLAN SHOWING EXACTLY
 WHICH TRUSSES ARE AFFECTED/REPAIRED.

 ATTICS CONTAINING APPLIANCES SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH AN
 OPENING AND A CLEAR AND UNOBSTRUCTED PASSAGEWAY LARGE
 ENOUGH TO ALLOW REMOVAL OF THE LARGEST APPLIANCE, BUT
 NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH AND 22 INCHES
 (559 MM) WIDE AND NOT MORE THAN 20 FEET (6096 MM) LONG
 MEASURED ALONG THE CENTERLINE OF THE PASSAGEWAY FROM
 THE OPENING TO THE APPLIANCE. THE PASSAGEWAY SHALL HAVE
 CONTINUOUS SOLID FLOORING IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 5
 NOT LESS THAN 24 INCHES (610 MM) WIDE. A LEVEL SERVICE
 SPACE NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) DEEP AND 30
 INCHES (762 MM) WIDE SHALL BE PRESENT ALONG ALL SIDES
 OF THE APPLIANCE WHERE ACCESS IS REQUIRED. THE CLEAR
 ACCESS OPENING DIMENSIONS SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN OF 20
 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (508 MM BY 762 MM), AND LARGE
 ENOUGH TO ALLOW REMOVAL OF THE LARGEST APPLIANCE.
