 1) THE PLUMBING PLAN SHOWS THE EXISTING BATHROOM FLOOR
 PLANS. PLEASE PROVIDE A FINISHED, DIMENSIONED PLUMBING
 FLOOR PLAN SHOWING THE NEW BATHROOM LAYOUTS AND
 FIXTURES- SECTION 107.2.1 WPB. PLEASE INCLUDE THE NEW
 SHOWER DIMENSIONS IN BATH 2.
  
 2) WHERE DRAINS ARE BEING RELOCATED PLEASE PROVIDE
 SANITARY RISER DRAWINGS- SECTION 107.3.5.3 WPB.
 ADDITIONAL COMPLIANCE NOTES FOR RELOCATED DRAINS LISTED
 BELOW:
  
 A) THE HORIZONTAL DISTANCES FROM THE CENTERLINES OF THE
 DRAIN OUTLETS FOR THE MASTER TUB AND THE BATH 2 SHOWER
 TO THE CENTERLINES OF THE EXISTING TRAPS WILL NOT
 EXCEED 30 INCHES- SECTION 1002.1 FBC P.
  
 B) RELOCATING THE DRAIN OUTLETS WILL REQUIRE THE FLOOR
 TO BE X-RAYED TO IN ORDER TO LOCATE REINFORCING STEEL
 OR POST STRESSED FLOOR TENDONS. PLEASE PLACE A NOTE ON
 THE PLANS TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WILL BE MET- SECTION
 107.2.1 WPB.
  
 C) NEW DRAIN PIPE PENETRATIONS OF THE EXISTING SLAB
 WILL REQUIRE FIRESTOPPING TO SEAL THE ANNULAR SPACE
 AROUND THE PIPING. PROVIDE A UL TESTED AND APPROVED
 FIRESTOPPING ASSEMBLY DETAIL ON THE PLAN- SECTION
 714.4.1.2 FBC P.
  
 3) FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES: BECAUSE THE
 BUILDING WAS CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACT AND
 THE DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR USABLE BATHROOMS IN DWELLING
 UNITS, THE ALTERATIONS THAT ARE PROPOSED IN THE
 BATHROOMS SHALL ALSO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FAIR
 HOUSING ACT. THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES
 ARE INCLUDED IN THE FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE- 2017
 SIXTH EDITION. REFER TO REQUIRMENT 7 USUABLE KITCENS
 AND BATHROOMS AND PAGE 7.33 IN THE FAIR HOUSING ACT
 DESIGN MANUAL.
  
 BASED ON THE DRAWING IT IS NOT CLEAR IF USABLE BATHROOM
 SPECIFICATION TYPE A OR B WAS CHOSEN AS THE ORIGINAL
 DESIGN UNDER PERMIT- 020540459, HOWEVER BASED ON THE
 LAYOUTS SHOWN IT APPEARS BATH 1 AND 2 WERE CONSTRUCTED
 AS TYPE A BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION OF THE TOILET BY THE
 BATHTUBS WHICH PROVIDES LESSER MOBILITY AND ACCESS TO
 THE BATHING FIXTURES - SEE PAGE 7.53 OF THE DESIGN
 MANUAL. BECAUSE THE BATHTUB IS BEING CONVERTED TO A
 SHOWER IN BATH 2 GREATER ACCESS TO THE FIXTURES AND
 CONTROLS IS REQUIRED AS SHOWN ON PAGE 7.57. IN ORDER TO
 ACHIEVE THE COMPLIANT ACCESS AND PARALLEL 30 X 48 INCH
 APPROACH TO THE SHOWER, RELOCATION OF THE WATER CLOSET
 WOULD HAVE TO OCCUR. ALTERNATIVELY, THERE IS A MASTER
 BATH WHICH CONTAINS BOTH A BATHTUB AND A SHOWER. PLEASE
 REFER TO PAGE 7.35: IF THE MASTER BATH WAS CONSTRUCTED
 AS A SPECIFICATION TYPE B AND EACH FIXTURE IS USABLE
 AND NO CHANGES ARE BEING MADE THAT RESTRICT MOBILITY OR
 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE APPROACHES THEN BATH 1 AND 2 ARE
 EXEMPT. PLEASE ADDRESS THE REQUIRED COMPLIANCES ON THE
 MASTER AND BATH 2 FLOOR PLAN LAYOUTS AS SHOWN IN THE
 MANUAL.
  
 PLEASE NOTE: AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MEETING THE
 GUIDELINES FOR THE BATH ALTERATIONS, THE OWNER AND
 DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT MAY PROVIDE
 A SIGNED AND NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT WHICH WOULD INDICATE
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE PROPOSED DESIGN DOES NOT MEET
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY
 GUIDELINES, BUT WILL ALSO REQUIRE THE OWNER TO AGREE TO
 REVERT THE UNIT BACK TO COMPLIANCE AT TIME OF SALE IF
 SO REQUESTED BY THE BUYER. IF THIS OPTION IS CHOSEN,
 PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected] AND I WILL SEND A
 COPY OF THE FAIR HOUSING AFFIDAVIT.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
